Axel put on his regalia, preparing to head towards the 'offenders block', as it's usually called.
The name gives it away already. It's a large hall filled with different equipments and tools used for torturing people.
Different punishments have been meted out to people in that block, depending on the weight of sin committed.
It's been a while since the Alpha has ordered everyone to witness a torture, so he wonders who exactly is getting tortured today.
A knock on his door made him pause. "It's the Queen" A guard announced, and his hand unconsciously fitted into a ball.
The last time the Queen came to his room was when he was a kid, and she framed him for cutting her. That was the day she brought poisoned food to him. If not for his good sense of smell, he'd probably be dead by now.
