Meddy shoved the doubt far away and readily agreed.
"Deal!"
Tempest and Flora looked at each other as if saying 'the prey has taken the bait' with their eyes.
Tempest took out her phone and handed it over to the host. After the host checked, he announced
"Miss Grooks' current asset is 700 million dollars!"
The smug look on Meddy's face disappeared. Tempest's smirk grew wider.
"It's your turn, my dear Meddy" Tempest said coldly.
Meddy felt a shudder ran down her spine. Vance had a bad feeling about this. Meddy hesitantly gave out her bank card. The attendant immediately swiped.
"Your bank balance is zero" the attendant said shocking the couple.
Tempest burst out laughing.
"Oh my...to think that you guys framed me to be a fraud but you are the fraud instead-how interesting. Now it's your time to kneel..."
"Caymon...this has to work!" Aiden spoke to Caymon after teaching him techniques of how to chase a woman
"If it doesn't work you'd have to try harder. Women who have been heartbroken cannot easily believe in love" Caymon explained and Aiden listened keenly like a student listening to his teacher
Aiden's bodyguards felt that this was a change to their master. He was changing inorder to chase the woman whom he has taken interest in. They felt like crying for their boss. Every woman he tried to approach either ran away or faint due to fear.
"Boss, the auction is over" one of the bodyguards reported.
Aiden shot up from his chair and within a second, he was out of the door.
"Finally-the master has found someone to tame him" Caymon said dramatically wiping tears that were never there.
Meanwhile, Tempest had already got in the car prepared to leave. She had already accomplished what brought her there so there wasn't any need of staying. Plus-she wanted to not meet the psychopath.
Aiden Kingsley met Flora, who paid for the land and was preparing to go to the car.
"Where is she?" He asked. His voice was cold devoid of any emotion.
"She is in the car-asleep. She woke up early and having dealt with Mister and miss Lucian-she was extremely exhausted. Please don't interfere with her rest" Flora said calmly unaffected by Aiden's aura
"They made her exhausted-should I deal with them for her?" He asked. His voice still cold but there was a hint of worry.
"No no...she finds it more enjoyable to deal with them herself" Flora said calmly with a smile
Having nothing else to say, Aiden froze. Caymon decided to step up for him.
"My new to romance master wanted to know what your miss likes. He wanted to get to know her more" Caymon spoke respectfully. Flora looked at Aiden Kingsley. He nodded
"Lilies" Flora calmly said then added "please excuse me" she then left.
Aiden became deep in thought. He wondered if she liked Lily flowers, Lily scent or anything concerning lilies.
"Investigate" Aiden Kingsley ordered Caymon and walked away. He was a man with a new mission
Meanwhile....
"Meddy, that was a complete embarrassment to me! Do you know what you did!" Vance scolded Meddy when they arrived back to their villa
Meddy, on the other hand, was thinking as to how she had zero balance. She had clearly checked week ago and had a balance of 500 million dollars. Did this have to with Vance? That was the first questioned that came in her mind but she quickly dispersed it.
'It can't be him. I was very careful around him' she thought
Her thoughts then drifted off to her close friends. Even though she had them close, she was still guarded against anyone that came in her way so she didn't fully trust them. She quickly removed her thoughts about that.
The last person to come to her mind was Tempest. She then remembered how Tempest was acting confident and smug about it. She then thought that perhaps, part of that 700 million dollars was her 500 million dollars (yeah she is dumb). But before she could jump to any conclusions, she planned to investigate everyone. Meddy didn't fully believe that Tempest could pull such a move (underestimating our Tempest). She returned to her senses
"Vance, forgive me. I was merely trying to put her to her place...but we don't have to worry about her anymore" Meddy said cunningly then chuckled darkly.
"Why is that?" Vance, finally calmed down, asked curiosly.
"She pissed off Aiden Kingsley so she won't live after tonight. If I'd knew this would happen, I would have killed her at that time she was on her knees" Meddy said sinisterly
Vance caressed her face dottingly looking at her with eyes full of love.
"I forgive you this time but next time, tell me when you are about to do something reckless okay?"
Meddy smiled not answering to him.

Before Tempest could answer, another system window appeared.
