Synopsis
The Architects declared that the stars shall be visible from every corner of the universe The problem with that statement is that our universe doesn't have corners. Welcome to the Outer Reaches. Home to an Exile Planet where every Host star within a 500 Light year radius dumped its trash onto it. Sometimes that garbage included Criminals of the highest order, and other times, that garbage included Innocents who even slightly inconvenienced a Star Noble. As a babe born onto the planet, Ester didn't belong to the two aforementioned categories. Having lived all of his Years underneath a smog coated sky threatening to choke the life out of anyone not wearing the right equipment, Ester had a dream that was probably insane to anyone that heard it. But a dream wasn't a dream if it wasn't tinged with some form of absurdity right? Time to design a way out of this hell hole

Chapter 1 - Prologue

An Exile Planet is a planet with a singular purpose.

Becoming a planetary wide prison for criminals of all kinds.

Instead of paying thousands of expensive guards to watch over the prisoners, why not just pay a couple of men and place them in Surveillance units? And thus an Exile Planet is formed.

But why just throw away Human trash when you can also throw literal trash onto the same planet? The only things that is gonna suffer is the planet and the prisoners living on it.

And who cares? It's the Criminals fault for being sent there in the first place, what are they going to do? Complain? Hah! Fat chance for any of that when we cut off Star contact.

---

There are two types of living trash in this world, the Trash of society, and the trash of Noble society.

Serial killers, Rapists, Smugglers, Pirates and the works are the Trash of Society, and they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

The Trash of Noble Society though is a whole lot different from the norm.

Dock workers, Maids, Teachers, Tailors, Engineers, Doctors, Cooks and more.

That is the trash of Noble society.

And the one thing that they have in common with each other besides being of no notable background? They caught a Star Noble's eye and slighted them somehow.

The one Ester was looking at was most probably of the second type.

Watching the Dumper penetrate the Gaseous atmosphere in a controlled descent, a small gap to the Stars let in a cascade of rainbows which instantly blackened when it came in contact with the polluted atmosphere.

Staring at the starry sky that contrasted starkly against the greenish fog in his surroundings, Ester adjusted the respiration mark on his face and checked the connection on his back as starlight seeped through the small gap created by the chain of dumpers

Metal fingers clasping coldly around the strap of his bag, Ester's eyes hidden underneath the goggles glowed slightly as the Dumper hung just above the atmosphere.

Opening its side compartments, unidentifiable objects flowed out like water around the trash zone, letting out what was known as the trash rain.

One of the few boons to this place was that water wasn't much of a problem if you just purified it.

And as an added bonus to the trash rain, a ship suddenly flew from within the trash rain, spiraling downwards in an attempt to hide as one with the falling blocks of unidentified parts and scraps.

But to Ester's eyes it was nothing more than an inefficient use of fuel

'Some more Trash of Noble Society'

Ester glanced at his empty collector frame

'I wonder if what I need is intact.'

He felt bad for the Trash of Noble Society most probably sent here without respirators to filter out the metal tinted smog of the Trash planet but that was the extent of it.

He might lend a helping hand in the form of some tips on how to survive this place, but he was struggling as is.

'And besides. I don't want them to tell me about the clean world outside,'

A glint appeared in his eyes underneath his yellow goggles.

'I want to see it for myself after all.'
