How did that thing entered this place? Is it near here too? God damn it! As if there weren't enough problems alread... Now I gotta fight while being watched as well.
As the message dissapeared, I could feel an immense amount of power coming from the somewhere in the train.
I looked as everyone stopped attacking me and Aiko and returned to their seat, their face clearly full of fear, some were even praying.
Seems like whoever it is, they have quite a lot of power. Though I do sense another force aside from the powerful one that silenced everyone.
If I had to guess, one of them was from the anonymous person that entered this bounty event, the other might be the strange voice I heard…
After thinking for a few seconds, I looked back at Aiko who also dropped her weapon. Seems like the force that whoever those two are carrying is even enough to intimidate a person like her.
"Aren't you going to the head of the train? What are you doing there anyways?"
My body tensed up as I heard a voice, I looked around, trying to find who could've said it. I'm sure that wasn't a hallucination.
It was quite certain that voice might be the same person that threw that metal rod at me. I frowned, trying to think. There was no way I'm hearing voices right?
"Gyungho, what are you looking for?"
I looked back to Aiko as her sentence finished. She stood there with a smug face, her arms crossed together, trying to hide the fact that she dropped her weapon just by sensing a force closeby. Did she not hear that?
"Did you hear it too?"
"Hear what?"
"Ah, nevermind."
She sighed, her face a bit annoyed. She turned around and walked towards the next compartment. I looked at the door that was creaking open.
How could she even consider going to the next compartment right after dropping her weapon. Does she not know what she might face?!
I sighed, either way, I knew what was probably going to happen yet there was something in me that says something's wrong.
"Gyungho…"
"Hm?"
I turned around, looking at Aiko who froze in her track after opening the door. I came closer, placing my arm around her shoulder before looking back ahead. My eyes widened.
"There's…"
Aiko stopped for a bit. It was strange for her to react this way considering what she had been through, though it is quite the surprise.
"…Nobody here."

"Mary! Watch out!"
I looked as a wolf ran my way, leaping into the air, I held tightly onto the spear I was holding, aiming for the wolf.
Swooosh! Claang!
I looked as the wolf fell down anf faded away. I smirked, walking over to retrieve the weapon.
My hand gripped tightly onto the spear, I looked over at Chin-hae who was clearly sweating like crazy. I smirked, this crazy Gyungho… always putting his work in somebody else's hands.
Where could he even go apart from the main game?
"Hey, Mary… do you think Gyungho-ssi will be okay?"
Was this man always so concerend about Gyungho? I sighed, letting out a laugh, these two are seriously so childish. Especially Gyungho-ssi, always pretending to be so strong.
I looked over at the man with a smile. These wolves aren't too strong, I might as well take them out on my own to save time…
"Mary-ssi?"
I looked over and hummed before charging forward towards one of the other wolves. I can't tell him, at least not now. Though knowing who Gyungho really is, he's probably doing just fine.
I smiled, glaring at the wolf. I held onto my sharp spear, smearing a bit of poison I've gotten while hunting in the station.
I leaped into the air, my grip loosened, launching the spear right at the head of the wolf. I yawned, putting in some energy as the spear went flying down.
Kapooww! Pow! Fsssshh….
I brushed my hair aside, landing down onto the ground swiftly as the wolf gets split in half.
I laughed as the other wolves howled at me and retrieved after seeing the blow. Now that I've noticed… I crossed my arms, thinking.
If I remembered correctly, these should be called toy wolves… fake versions of the real deal, huh? I smirked, if these fake copies are this weak then the actual wolf wouldn't be much of a problem.
I'm glad I have decent stats… I walked over to the corpse of the toy wolf. I crouched down, looking as the fire faded away, leaving only the skull and a few organs of it.
"Well this isn't so valuable…"
I shrugged, these things are so boring to mess with. Only if someone can free me from this boredom.
I sighed, picking up my weapon and walked back to Chin-hae. The guy's expression remained shocked and pale. I smirked, this is the companion Gyungho-ssi chose?
I walked pass the man, glancing back a few times to make sure he's still following. It've been only a few minutes since Gyungho left without a trace.
I stood still for a second, thinking about a plan. Though not much time has passed yet, I think it's still a good idea to go on some hunt for food or at least get the people to be on our side. Who knows, Gyungho might be dead already.
Though if he isn't, he'll need the food and the people for some voting later. Now that I've thought about it, I've been in this game for a few days already…
As we were walking, I could feel a grumble coming from the ground. Seems like it's about to happen.
I stood still in my track, turning around to see Chin-hae's shocked face. He looked up at me and began to speak.
"Mary! They're coming again!"
Just when he finished his sentence, a notification popped up in front of me. I smirked.
"There you are."
Tiiing!
[SYSTEM: wave two
The toy wolves are now infiltrating the 「Ganseok station」 ! Protect the area as well as survive!
Time limit: none
Compensation: 100R
Penalty: death]
Finally, something exciting since Gyungho came. I looked at Chin-hae with a bright smile, he doesn't look as happy as I was. I don't think his stats are that bad so why is he so scared?
I sighed, why am I stuck with him? The only reason I reached out to Chin-hae was to get a chance to talk to Gyungho and fight alongside with him.
"What are we waiting for?
I looked at Chin-hae once again. If I'm stuck with him, might as well get the party started on my own. I pulled out my spear, looking straight ahead.
If I remembered correctly, wave two spawns should be somewhere closeby. I just need to go this way to arrive at where they'll be released and annihilate them right there. God, Mary, you're such a genius!
I let out a loud laugh as I began guiding Chin-hae inside the dark tunnel.
「owl's vision activated!」
As I opened my eyes again after blinking, I could see the surroundings in this tunnel more clearly. This place was quite big… or maybe we were just insanely slow.
While we were walking, I couldn't help but thought about my mother. It've been quite a while since we last met… I wonder if she's also experiencing this or is it just Korea.
I sighed, this is no time to think about that, Mary. I have to stay alive with Chin-hae until Gyungho comes and do his stupid shit that somehow protects everyone.
"Mary, I think there's something in front of us."
I chuckled, I haven't told Chin-hae about my night vision yet, have I? I turned around and spoke in a reassuring voice.
"There's nothing in front of us, trust me."
As I turned around, a soft grumble came from the ground, giving us a little shake. Damn it was there something that I didn't notice?
"Okay, maybe don't trust me on this."
I took Chin-hae's arm and dashed back, pulling him into a corner near by. I looked down at the scared guy who was shaking. I smirked, this little weakling…
As we waited there in silence, another earthquake or whatever it was came again. Seems like this will be quite fun.
Though I'm not really sure if it's the wolves again or if it's something else. Either way, I'll finally get to fight something on my level. As I peeked outside, my eyes widened with joy.
"It's here, a bit earlier than expected."
Chin-hae's eyes widened in horror, looking up at me as my eyes shined looking outside.
"W-what's here?"
I can feel that it's not far away. Judging by this amount of force, it's certain that the first fragment is here.
Though it's a bit ahead of schedule… something so important like that needs time to nurture and grow until it's ready.
The fragment wasn't supposed to appear or even give a signal about its appearance until the fourth or fifth game starts.
Did the future changed? I shook my head, maybe I'm just overthinking it. Gyungho should know what to do with the fragment… all I need to do is to get it.
I smirked, stepping outside. I pulled out my spear.
「Reality bending activated!」
I looked behind to see Chin-hae gasping as my spear slowly sunk into my skin and became apart of me.
"Aaah! Your weapon! I-It's merging with you!"
I smirked, swinging the blade around carelessly. This guy was fun to mess with, quite entertaining… though he's boring most of the time.
"Never seen this before?"
Chin-hae looked at me, shaking his head violently. His face showed a hint of fear. Of course he feared me, just like everyone else.
I shrugged, I couldn't blame him either ways, they're just too low ranking to understand me. That's why Gyungho is always fun to mess with.
I looked down at the blade in my arm. I've successfully turned my spear into a sword and merged it with myself. I smiled as the earthquake got slightly stronger.
It's the perfect time to put on a show. I smirked, dashing forward as Chin-hae stood there in silence.
"Show me all you've got. Promise I'll go easy."
