A few moments later, Rexus was pulling on his jeans while sitted as Haven sat beside him while rubbing off some white substances from her mouth. Rexus took a sigh "I was wondering when you were going to stop, I almost couldn't feel my legs.", Haven replied as she sat "Shut up you doll.", she said coldly. Rexus responded "Still calling me a doll, huh? That's annoying, but I can't say I'm entirely pissed about it.", Haven looked at him with slight annoyance "What the hell are you talking about? Are you talking back at me?". Rexus raised a brow while looking at her "You've sure become more bossy that you usually are. Well, whatever, I guess those kids really messed you up.". Before he knew it, Haven had stabbed him on the abdomen with a tall rod, Rexus looked a bit annoyed while Haven looked extremely angry. Her eye's looked sharp as they started to glow, Rexus blinked "Now what the fuck....?", he whispered with blood slowly dripping from his mouth. With a flick of his finger, he was able to break the rod and remove it from his stomach like it was nothing "Tch! Where did that come from....?", he muttered as he went to go grab a bandage. His wound started to slowly heal before he could treat it, he walked to his couch where Haven was sitted "Look, I know you're the kind of person who likes to have things your way, but you can't just stab someone like that, especially when the person's your ally. Or in my case, your puppet.". Rexus sat down, a smirk curled up his face as he looked up "Hey, do you remember when you and I used to spar with each other all the time when we were younger?", he started to remember how harsh their sparring was "You'd usually use me as a stress relief punching bag while I had to deal with keeping up with you.". Rexus continued to reminisce "Usually, I'd try to keep my cool, but with how forcefull you were, I ended up losing my mind.", Haven didn't reply at all, she was just staring into nothing. Rexus's smirk widened "Ha! I get it now, you like to take control over everything, that's the reason why you're always so angry. Normally, you always dominated people because you were always stronger, but seeing someone strong enough to deal with you was what made you pissed beyond belief. Am I right...? Haven!". Haven's eyes turned to Rexus "So...?", she asked coldly, Rexus's smirk turned smug as he started to wave his hand while talking "You see? I get it now. You were probably the kind of kid who took control over people by force, you force your way through things, and when someone defied you in the slightest, you'd automatically think of them as useless. And to be honest, your personality fits your abilities well...". Haven responded with annoyance growing in her voice "Hey, can you shut up already?!", Rexus looked at her and replied with a teasing tone "Hm? Why should I? Its only the truth....! And If we're being real, it's the reason why you've been more aggressive all these weeks. You almost got killed by one of the girls you fought, could it be.... that demon girl....?". Haven's eyes grew wild, she started to remember how difficult her fight with Mio was, she glared at Rexus and grabbed him by the shirt "Look you idiot pathetic piece of shit for a puppet, no one else is allowed to have you except me.... GOT IT...!", she growled. Rexus responded with a teasing tone, hands above his head "Relax, it's not like I'm into younger girls or anything. And besides, you're the one keeping me alive, right? I'm practically stuck with you.....". Haven let go of Rexus and explained as she sat In a place "Rexus, I have two abilities. One is the one I was born with, and the other one is a technique I learned. The first one is the ability to control things that are made out of flesh, bone and blood. It's done by touching a person with any part of my body, whether the person is dead or alive doesn't matter, as long as the corpse isn't rotten yet. The second one is the ability to create shadow puppets, that's a technique i learned myself. I was also the one who came up with the idea of creating puppets with the help of human parts like the heart and bones, a friend of mine who betrayed the country's orders(Hornet's Web Cult), started to make use of it and made it more popular.". Rexus asked "So? What does that have to do with the current situation? I'm only trying to tease you around, I'm not looking for some kind of power dump.", Haven replied "Shut the fuck up and listen...". She continued to explain "When I control a living person, I can controll them for as long as I want. I can see what they're doing no matter the situation, they're like spy bots to me.", Rexus thought to himself "With how you objectify others, I'm not surprised.". Haven explained "But when I control people who are already dead, it's different. Once I control them once, I can't control them anymore, that's why I usually heat up or freeze up their body temperatures so that they wouldn't rotten up. And if im controling a puppet for too long, I'll lose control over them.", Rexus blinked and asked "What does that have to do with me?". Haven sighed and explained to him "You idiot, what I'm saying is that since I've been controlling you for the longest time now, you are more than capable having your own free will without me controlling you like a freaking doll.". Rexus sighed "Ahh? What are you talking about? I've always had free wil-", before he completed his sentence, she raised her index finger. Doing this caused Rexus to tense up like as if he was pierced by a needle "AHHG!", he groaned "Always had free will, huh. Looks like I can still make you do whatever I want without problems.". "Damn it!", Rexus muttered.
