The nex day at around 11:00AM, Suzuha was laying on her bed, she was fast asleep when she had a dream the contained a horrible flashback. About nine years ago, Suzuha(13 years old) was running and zooming for her life accross the battlefield at incredible speeds with the help of her flames. While doing so in the war torn field where missles rained from the distance and energy beams scattered accross the place, she had injuries on her head and her hands, Suzuha had a look of fear and worry written all over her face "Why! Why did it have to end up like this?!", she said to herself. From behind, about three knights were chasing after her, each one with a black and heavy sword behind them "Enemy targeted...!", one knight said, another responded "She's one of the Kagahara members that Infiltrated our base! She's with the bomb, kill her now!". One of the knights blitz forward and appeared before Suzuha in a burst of speed, he was ready to cut off her head the moment he drew out his sword. Suzuha immediately became tensed and scared, she gsthered up a huge burst of flames from her hands and blocked the incoming strike from the knight, this resulted in a huge burst of flames that took out a section of the battlefield. Suzuha and said knight jumped out of the flames and were going blow for blow as they flew around like missiles, the knight was using his sword to attack, while Suzuha was using her flame infused hands to block and counter. As the fight raged on with powerful burst of flames and slashes burning and tearing through the place, one of the other knights had tried to stab Suzuha from behind out of the flames that had turned the surrounding area into chaos. Suzuha turned back, brought out an energy gun from her pocket at shot the knight straight on the head "GET AWAY FROM ME!", the young Suzuha at the time yelled in fear. The knight that was shot on the head and crashed a couple feet away, his head gushing with blood. The other knight that had previously rushed in to attack Suzuha, was infuriated "DEVIIIIN!", he screamed the name of his fallen comrade. Out of rage, he amplified his sword with more energy and started waving his sword around in a very violent manner, slashes were sent flying all over the place like lightning "HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU KILL HIIIIM!", the Knight yelled while going berserk, Suzuha on the other hand wasn't able to react to knights speed, all that she could do at the time was just block the intense slashes without moving her arms. From below, sharp sword edges began to break from the ground and head straight for Suzuha. Suzuha was in disbelief at the moment, a tear in her eye "Wha..? What is this now?", she asked herself. Out of instincts, powerful flames shot out of her body as she cried out "AAAAAAAAAAHH!", one of the knights that was chasing Suzuha that made the third one in number, had appeared behind her. He thought to himself "Damn it! These flames are too hot for me! FAWN!", he screamed the name of his other comrade that was still relentlessly attacking Suzuha "WHAT DO YOU WANT!", he jumped backwards and responded to his comrade. Flames had surrounded them, one knight at Suzuha's front, another from behind, and Suzuha at the middle. Suzuha thought to herself "I can't take this anymore....", her hands were filled with scratches, burns and blood. Her head was aching her, but she could bare it "Ralfold, Myself and Cid were separated due to all the relentless attacks from before. We were supposed to go into one of the nearby bases and steal one of their bombs. But that plan came crashing down when a large swarm of [Drive Knights], started chasing after us. Cid stood behind to hold them off, Ralfold got caught by a few other knights who seemed dangerously strong, I was the only one left.", she looked at the mini bomb that was in her pouch "I was able to steal the bomb, but these guys had already started chasing me. I need help, I can't win this on my own.". The knight at her front threw something below her, it was a device that looked like a net, Suzuha was confused the moment she saw it glowing blue "Huh?". Before she knew it, a net made from blue energy had surrounded her, Suzuha screamed in pain as a terrifying amount of energy was shot into her by the net "AAAAAAAAH!", she thought to herself "What.... is this....?!". The knight from behind explained "This is the devil's cage, It's used to trap people in a place. It has enough power to kill a lion beast, you'll be turned to ash in no time!", he bragged. Suzuha was in even more confusion "What....?!", she exclaimed in her head. As both knights did hands signs, Suzuha's mind was in panic "I've gotta get out of here! I need to get out of here! I'm going to die.....!". Both knights yelled "DIIIIEE!", after completing their hand signs, the net started glowing even more violently "RALFOLD.....! CIIIID....!", she scremed the name of her friends. Suddenly, a bolt of black lightning flew in, and with a stab to the head with his bere hands covered in destructive energy, Ralfold(13 years old) with a grin on his face had instantly killed one of the knights attempting to kill Suzuha. Both Suzuha and Fawn(The other knight at Suzuha's front) were in shock "Ralfold....?", Suzuha muttered the name of her friend. Ralfold looked at her with a deranged and frustrated smile, Suzuha's eyes lit up in fear, Fawn yelled out "KEVIIIIIIN! NOOOOOOOO!". Ralfold without a second thought, instantly dissappeared, appeared behind Fawn and then cut both of his arms off in an instant. Blood rushed everywhere in slow motion, Ralfold gathered destructive energy into his hands and shot it at the enemy's head "NO....! YOU DIE! NOT SUZUHA! NOR ANYONE FROM KAGAHARA.....!". The knight with his entire body burned up, dropped down to his death, the device Suzuha was trapped in proceeded to shut down. Suzuha was surprised at the moment "Ralfold....", she called out to her teammate that had saved her life. Ralfold looked at Suzuha after he had calmed down from his deranged state "Suzuha.... now's not the time.", Suzuha froze "We need to go help Cid....!", Ralfold stated. Suzuha became even more scared "Oh no...! Cid....!". A few moments later, Ralfold and Suzuha were face to face with Cid who was standing with blood all over his body and a hole in his chest. They couldn't believe their eyes "Cid.....", Cid looked at his friends with a soft smile "I see you both are alive, that's good. I was able to take down the hundred drive knights that chased after us, I guess I played my part. I trust you both have the bomb? That's good. I don't need to ask, I already know you have it. We have always been the kind of team to get the job done and come back alive. I won't question you any further.". Cid's heart dropped out of the hole in his chest and plummed to the floor "Well, would you look at that. My heart's dropped to the floor, and my body's cold....", he said faintly, "Sorry, Ralfold, Suzuha. Guess I broke our promises of... being the ultimate team.". He dropped to the ground in death as he crushed his heart with his fall. Ralfold immediately rushed towards his friend "CIIID!", he screamed his name as he shaked him trying to wake him up "NO! YOU CANT DIE! PLEASE! GET UP!! CID!". Suzuha's mind was breaking apart, if felt like she was glitching "No! No! It can't be. He couldn't be dead.... CID....!", she stood in a place as she had to suffer the most dreadful headache of a lifetime, watching as an important friend had died, while her other friend cried while holding the cold body of a fallen comrade. Suzuha woke up from the dream, cold sweat all over her body. She sat up "Huh? It's morning already? I over slept.".
