After training with each other in the forest, Kazuma, Kito and Baroka had walked out of the forest and were already on their way to the city. Kazuma sighed "Ahh, that was actually refreshing. Training like that seemed fun, honestly it's amazing being able to do stuff like that again rather than feeling down all day.", Kito responded "Yeah, because its one of the only things we know how to do. Fighting and sharpening our abilities.". Baroka added into the conversation "You know, I kind of find it amusing how we've made it this far already. I mean, anything could have happened to us at anytime, but we're still here.", Kito replied "Don't even start that topic. I'm not in the mood to be thinking of every decision I've made that's kept me alive until now.", Kazuma scoffed "Kito's got a point.", he said. Later that day, the three boys found themselves in front of White's house, the pressed the door bell [DING DONG], the bell rang. Lydia walked towards the door "Who is it...?", she asked before Kazuma's voice replied "It's us.". Lydia took a look at the spy hole on the door and saw Kazuma along with Kito and Baroka standing at the other side of the door. She opened the door "Yo.", Kazuma greeted, Lydia had a look of disinterest "What are you doing here?", she asked. Kito explained "We came to say hi. Is now a bad time?", Lydia sighed "No, I don't mean you two. I'm talking about this purple haired maniac.", Baroka smirked nervously "Looks like she's still got beef with you, Kazuma.". Kazuma sighed "Aaah, whatever.". White was in his backyard lifting some weights, his arms were covered with crystals that weighted about 20 tons while he was still lifting weights "187, 188,189,190....", he was keeping note of how many times he was lifting. White thought to himself "The weights of an object is defined through kilograms, pounds and tons. Without energy, I should easily be able to carry things that weight about a few hundred pounds without too much stress. With energy, things higher than pounds shouldn't be a problem. But still, the fact that a person can carry things that are that heavy, doesn't mean they don't feel the effect of it. It just means they have the strength to do so....", he continued to think to himself as he carried weights "One other thing I realised is that you can use energy to influence your physical strength, but you can't use your physical strength to influence your energy. We humans infuse our bodies with energy about 90 percent of the time. If we train with our powers, we are also training our bodies directly. So even tho we run out of energy, we can still pull off things that are insane for regular human standards. But if you train your body separately from energy, its only your pure physical strength without energy that would increase, not your basic energy level.". As White kept pumping up some weights, he couldn't help but look into the clear blue sky "Things have been peaceful for a while now....", his eyes were fixated on the blue sky above, White didn't say anything for a moment "A lot of bad things are going to happen soon.". Kazuma's voice caught White's attention and snapped him out of his head space "Yo, White!", White looked to his right and saw Kazuma, Kito and Baroka along with Lydia standing a few yards away. White blinked in confusion "You guys.", he muttered. White and the rest of his friends were sitted on the floor of the backyard that was a training ground "Wow, you seem to be pumping up a lot. Did anything happen?", Kito teased, White while sitted along side his friends responded "Nothing really, I was just trying to train my body, nothing too important.". Kazuma added "You say that like it's a regular thing for you. I usually thought that you focus more on combat training that physical training.", White sighed "No, infact it's the opposite. I do more of physical training than combat training. Training your body is more important than learning how to fight.". Kito responded "White's got a point. If you don't have enough strength to fight someone, I highly doubt combat skill would do anything.", Kazuma tilted his head "Really? Haven't thought of it that way, but I guess that makes sense. Either way, it's nice that we all get to train again as usual.", Baroka scoffed "Yeah, especially now that our bodies aren't hurting as much as they were a few months ago.". White muttered "Please don't bring that up, I just got healed from the depression I felt after that mission.", Kito then asked "By the way, have any of you heard from Volt?". Kazuma took some time to think "Last time I saw him was a month ago. I haven't heard from him since then, I hope he's good. As for Yuji, I saw him last yesterday during our sparring session.". Meanwhile, Volt and Yuji where both training with each other, Volt was releasing a tramendous amount of electricity out of his body, Yuji also did the same. His authority mark was glowing blue as his body released so much lightning. The two friends did this together for a few moments before stopping, Yuji sighed "Damn! That was rough.", Volt turned to him with a mild smirk "Wow, Yuji. You've really gone up in terms of output. You're almost better than me.". Yuji smirked playfully "You think so? I'm still trying to get used to my lightning. Sometimes it feels out of control and hard to use when I active it, it's probably because I'm trying to make it do what I want it to do by force.", Volt responded "It's better to just make it flow naturally on its own. Your lightning isn't something that you usually use frequently, you depend more on the basic use of energy while your lightning only appears when you're in a tight spot. Just let it flownatural for now.", Yuji just smirked "Yeah, I will.". Yuji then asked "By the way, have you heard from the other?", he asked, Volt replied "No, not really. It's been a month since I last saw or heard from Kazuma and the rest, except Regina.". Yuji asked himself "Regina, I wonder what she's up to.", Volt teased "You should probably go check up on her. You know, to keep the relationship going.", Yuji clicked his tounge "DAMN IT! DONT FLUSTER ME LIKE THAT.", he scolded Volt with lightning sparking out of him. Volt laughed "HAHAAHA! GOT HIM!"
