Silva's reason for choosing camp half-blood was because it was more friendly than the roman camp. Especially with his habit of keeping silent most of the time and talking as little as possible, the roman camp would be a nightmare for him live in.
But he never imagined the direct opposite of that would also give birth to a new sort of trouble. Because of being treated as a mature adult by Pan and the other wild animals, he had almost forgotten his age. Just five years old, even younger than Annabeth, who was said to hold the record of the youngest in the camp since she reached there at seven years old.
The first day was hell with all the nature spirits and the Aphrodite house girls running right after him. If he was an adult, he might have had some happy thoughts of being chased like that by exceptionally beautiful women. One from nature who were chased by gods every other day due to their beauty and the other who shared direct genetics with the goddess of beauty. But when he got reborn, he realised his sexual instincts he had as a teenager had completely disappeared. He realised how the protagonists of certain universes are able to concentrate in getting stronger or smarter when they were young.
Cause right now, at this age he was feeling a lot of energy and focus that he had difficulty to emulate in his teenage years
The nature dryads and spirits wanted to take care of him seeing that he was a cute child that radiated the love of nature itself. They were claiming that he might be related to a nature god and must be taken care of in the forests.
The other side included the girls of Aphrodite who wanted to take care of him while saying that he was too young to be taken care of by the boys in the Hermes cabin. Plus, they also argued that the dryads in the forests might not know anything about raising a human child.
Silva was watching this happen in real time. He didn't want to go with the dryads as he knew they will be able to monitor him twenty-four seven, which will result in him having no chances to do things without them knowing about it. And the Aphrodite cabins were no better. Silva remembered stories about Aphrodite raising children and making them her lovers as soon as they grow up. And seeing the expression of a few of those cabin members, he knew he was being targeted to be groomed.
Yeah, he was feeling peachy about camp right now.
Seeing the fight was about to escalate, with a few campers making bets on the side, Chiron suddenly appeared and put the fight to a stop while looking at the child who was the centre of the problems.
He remembered that just a while ago.
"Alright Chiron, you got a new brat in camp, make sure to take care of him without asking any questions" Dionysus said as he created another diet coke to substitute his alcohol.
'A new student…' Chiron wondered as he had never heard the camp director introduce a student before.
"Are there any indication of whose child he is director" Chiron asked
"Nope, all I know for sure is that he is not one from the big three, so we don't have to worry about the prophecy for now" D said with a seriousness that was not masked by his apathetic personality he shows outside.
But then he chugged two cans of coke that he summoned again.
Chiron began to wonder whether the wine god was trying to create alcohol in his stomach by using sugar in these drinks. But at the same time, can alcohol be created by diet coke, he wondered. Chiron decided it was better to not ask. And as he was thinking about this, Dionysus finished his drink and continued.
"From what the kid told me, he must have been taken care of by Pan for some time and seeing his aura of nature, I can see why Pan must have found him. As for the kid's parent" he scratched his beard in annoyance "He told me I'm a hundred times better off without knowing it and I agree, don't look into it Chiron and even if you find out, keep it in your own mind don't even speak it out loud" Dionysus warned.
Chiron realised that Dionysus actually had a clue about the child's origin but is shutting up because it was too troublesome. He had heard rumours about the children of the big three already existing and Dionysus does not seem like he was bothered by it.
For the trouble to be higher than the big prophecy of the big three.
Chiron wanted to take a leave for fifty years until everything is over.
Back to the present.
One look at the moonlight silver hair and eyes, Chiron once again wanted to go for that leave and he wanted it to extend for the next hundred years.
'Why, why, why?' Chiron kept on asking in his mind as he put out the fires between the Aphrodite cabin and the dryads.
After everything, it was decided that Silva will remain in the big house until it was decided where he will live in the future.
Silva was surprised at this consideration at first but quickly realised why. He was able to notice that the demigods in the camp are between the age of fourteen and seventeen. But when he read the book, there had been campers who were supposed to be younger than that in the camp.
He realised the causality rate of demigods were way higher right now than it was supposed to be in the future. Without Thalia's barrier, attack from monsters were considered as a norm and a child as young as Silva coming here was a complete miracle. So, the campers had agreed to the clear partiality shown to him by giving him the highest level of protection in the camp.
These campers had lost a lot of friends throughout the years while young due to the attack of the monsters. They were not gonna allow it to happen to a five-year-old child.
