Zaya got down from the bed slowly, trying not to wake her sleeping friends.
She tiptoed cautiously towards her locker, unzipping her bag as she removed a familiar round object,
The Phoenix emblem.
Zaya smiled as she gazed at it she then crept out of the room locking the door silently behind her,
Thanks to Zaya's speed she got out of the hostel in minutes without any one noticing.
She dashed out of the gate,
oblivious to the dozens of armed body guards who surrounded the place, finally arriving at the city.
After a long while of sprinting continuously on the walk way of the city's side, Zaya stopped on her tracks trying to catch her breath.
That was harder than I imagined she muttered resting both of her hands on her knees as she panted heavily.
Zaya lifted her self back up staring at the calm city ahead of her.
She attached the Phoenix emblem to her chest.
it's energy engulfed her body covering it with a stylish black and purple battle suit with he sign of a sharp purple paw in the middle.
The city was calm, no trace of human life, except for the few cars that continuously wizzed by.
Zaya gazed in all directions, she had to get out of this place and quick, she tapped on her nano wrist watch and then asked it.
What is the location of the scalfell Spike?
Approximately thirteen miles away from your precise location.
A huge truck passed by and without a second thought she leapt landing on the top of the truck.
Zaya Adjusted herself properly on the vehicle, as she wondered what a huge truck like this could be up to in the middle of the night.
She stayed cautious as anything could happen in their soon to be apocalyptic world.
After a while of driving, Zaya's eyes could barely hold as she had began dosing off.
Her eyes snapped open as the loud sound of music jolted her awake, the truck had only moved for over one mile.
Zaya was startled, she activated the purple sword in her hand with the power of her innate fox energy pointing it at various directions afraid she was under attack.
The truck stopped moving, seeing this,Zaya tapped on the Phoenix emblem attached to her chest twice.
A hood and mask appeared from the nano suit covering her head along with her face.
She saw the old man who drove the truck come out slowly, a walking stick in his hands as he struggled to work towards the bar.
Zaya looked down towards the truck wondering what an old man of that age would be transporting in the midnight.
Zaya then jumped down from the truck as she walked into the bar, neon lights of different colors flashed around the room, music filling the air as they all danced.
Everyone in the bar stopped in their movements as their gazes fell on a black and purple figure with glowing eyes and a terrifying aura entering the place.
Zaya walked towards were the attendant of the bar stood sitting on one of the chairs closest to it.
Standing in the corner was a fat middle aged man with long beards.
Welcome to hale bar, i'm carol the manager and attendant of this place.
Do you care for a drink umm..Call me the phantom paw and give me your best drink.
Said Zaya dropping a bunch of euros on the counter table, he smiled as he raised his hands up, signalling the others that the coast was clear, the loud music then continued.
Carol brought the drink Zaya had asked before, handing it over to her along with a glass cup.
Zaya received it cheerfully,
Do you know the mountain called the scalfell said Zaya as she began pouring herself a drink.
"Yes" the white bearded man responded,
The mountain is very dangerous and most of the people who have gone to the mountain recently have reported seeing red ghosts.
So you'd have to be careful on your way there carol spoke, Zaya sensed there was a bit of truth in what carol had said.
She was about to respond to his advice when there was a loud noise from outside of the bar.
From the truck that was parked outside a bunch of men with swords and guns came out from behind, immediately shooting at the bar.
Everyone in Hale's bar got on the ground in order to avoid the bullets including Zaya.
Zaya didn't want to make a rash move as she didn't have an idea of who this people were and why they were here.
The old man who had drove the van earlier stood up from his seat and walked towards the other three men without his walking stick.
He then spoke I just recently got to this city and I've heard there are different rumours flying around the place about a very spectacular treasure in scalfell pike.
He then smiled, now I don't want you children obstructing my plan so why don't we play this fair and I get all of you killed and you won't pose a threat.
Zaya gritted her teeth hard, not because she was angry at whoever this man was, but she was terrified.
On the left side of his neck was a tattoo with four written on it, she hadn't really cared about this.
But the old man seemed to be using some sort of enchantment to hide his primordial energy signature.
He raised both of his hands up as he spoke some sort of enchantment a dark mist appeared from the ceiling covering the entire bar
Zaya was sure the others couldn't see them but she could, The three men who stood behind the old man began shaking as they shed their skin off.
Zaya was at alert, she stood still trying not to warrant any attention.
Fire blazed from their shed skin as their whole body began to reform, they became fire beasts.
The old man then spoke kill them all as he walked out of their bar into the truck.
The mist cleared, Zaya had to make her move now.
Not that she cared about the people or some of them haven't gone to scalfell pike in search of the treasure but this wasn't their battle, it was hers.
Two swords appeared in both of her hands beaming with intense purple energy.
Zaya dashed towards the closest fire beast ignoring the unending streak of bullets that was continuously shot at her.
Thanks to the automated shield from her Nano suit,
the bullets only hit her and falling on the ground.
In a swift slash Zaya decapitated three of the fire beasts sending fresh blood splattering on the bar's floor.
She walked out of the bar gazing straight at a dozens of fire beasts glaring towards her direction they dropped down their guns fire encompassing their body.
Their primordial energy signatures rising it was time for a real battle.
