Zaya's eyes f was focused on the large rock that was ahead of her, it was ragged and oval surrounding it was grass that was neatly cut.
Zaya's eyes darted around in search of the temple Zuri had spoken of, Zaya opened her mouth to speak when Zuri who was beside her moved forward closer to the rock.
She touched the rock and wss immediately vanished.
Zuri! Zaya called loudly, Am right here Zuri responded come and touch the rock, Zaya walked towards the oval rock slowly placing her fingers on it's part.
She felt a powerful force drag her into the huge stone.
Are you alright said Zuri who was standing beside her an fine Zaya responded as her gaze was suddenly diverted to the beauty of the temple.
It looked like there were inside an empty rock,with no trace of sunlight, the whole places was cover with white vines with leaves that shone brightly like the moon.
Zaya grabbed hold of one of the vines on the ground, the part she held, shimmered glowing brighter than before.
In the middle of the rock was a rocky statue,
Zaya slowly walked towards it, the statue's back was faced towards Zaya.
Zaya recognized the long curly hair that dropped from the back, she walked round as she stared at the face of the of the statue, goose bumps rose all over her body.
It was Edeth, Zaya slowly touched the Stony statue, Edeth was worshipped by the last descendants of the fox clan because they got the folklores mixed up and thought her as their saviour said Zuri.
Well she did save them, Zaya muttered smirking as they both began to walk out of the magical temple.
Walking out of the temple Zuri was fazed to see a flying car aiming towards their direction at full speed.
Zaya immediately pushed Zuri out of the way both of them hitting the ground hardly as the car crashed into the magical rock exploding.
Soldiers had gathered around the whole area running in all directions as the University was under attack by fire creatures. We barely went in for five minutes, how did all this happen?! Yelled Zuri stunned at the sudden change of events.
Well come to our world said Zaya helping Zuri up. How do we escape this Zaya isn't there a safe or bunker or something, there is Zuri answered but it's over a mile from this place. We won't make it in time said Zaya what do you mean Zuri asked.
Zaya then pointed towards a fire beast with huge curved fangs protruding from its mouth.
It stared maniacally at them as it leapt in the air heading straight for were they stood, one of the soldiers then shot a beam towards the fire creatures head which shattered into separate parts.
Zuri screamed in fear, gagging at the same time, relax Zuri we'll get out of this alright Zaya persuaded, let's get out of here.
The thought of activating the Phoenix emblem crossed Zaya's mind, she had to find a way to keep Zuri safe and transform to her fox form.
Zaya sprinted faster, Zuri hardly keeping up with her, we have to go faster said Zaya as both her and Zuri rushed through the intense chaos of the war of soldiers and fire creatures.
Duck Zuri yelled at Zaya as a small missile headed for their direction, Zaya immediately tripped hitting the ground as the missile missed her by a hair's breath clashing against a horde of fire creatures.
They both stood up back, Over there Zuri yelled pointing at the closest building on their path.
You realize Zuri wouldn't it have been great if we had just entered the temple back said Zaya disappointed in herself.
They walked towards the door of the building Zaya twisted the handle hurriedly, it didn't bulge, this can't be happening said Zaya.
What's wrong Zuri asked, the door isn't opening said Zaya, that's not possible Zuri said as she equally tried the handle.
Zuri punched the door in rage as she said this couldn't be happening the people inside have locked the door.
What do we do now Zaya said, we won't make it towards the safe Zuri replied, Zaya stared towards the soldiers who endlessly fired beams towards the fire beasts.
It was pointless as it only made the fire beasts weak and not killing them, they had more time to recuperate and join the battle why the soldiers got tired.
Zaya looked back towards where Zuri stood as she was absolutely stunned, Zuri was gone!
