NARRATOR POV
It been two years since Ariel started his training, living a routine-based life. He would wake up, eat, run, and learn techniques from his father every day, and every time he got used to it, weights were added to his arms, legs, stomach, and shoulders. But today was different, he could tell, but he just could not tell what was different about it. After eating, he started his morning routine: he ran, meditated on his techniques, and practiced some of his movements. Later in the evening, when he was well rested, his father called him out to an open space.
'Take off the weights," Ether shifted uncomfortably as he tossed his robes to the sides. The thuds were what snapped his head back to Ariel, as the weights dropped off his body. Ariel did some stretches, as during their normal sparring time, he never asked him to take off the weights, deep inside he felt relieved at his freedom and how light he felt. After the stretches, Ether picks a pebble and flicks it at him. He makes a quick sidestep as the pebble grazes his forehead, he straightens his posture as quick as he could launching himself at ether who made a sidestep before hitting his arm causing him to spin offsetting his balance. Ariel lands with a slide as he distance himself from Ether taking a short breather, he prepares to launch himself again Ether was already right in front of him aiming to grab his face, Ariel shifted his weight on the foot behind him bending his back till he almost touched his causing Ether to miss and showing a slight gap Ariel sharply raised his right foot aiming for his chin which Ether grabbed his foot in turn flinging off to the side causing him to crash his back against the tree.
"Come on get up u can do better" Ether sighed as he creeped closer to the slumped Ariel who clenched his fist as he slowly rise to his feet. Ariel shifted his balance launching straightforward at Ether throwing a straight punch straight to his face making Ether kick his feet in retaliation cause Ariel to slump launching a sweep attack at Ether feet forcing him back 3 steps giving him enough time to prep his next attack he jumps up in the air aiming a perfect kick to the slightly stumbled Ether. Ether raised his arm blocking the kick from connecting to his face as he stretched his free hand to grab Ariel who used his arm as leverage to shoot himself backwards as he lands unto a tree, he bent his knee slightly as he covers his body with mana his pupils dilating as balls of fire start to form from thin air. Ether smirked at the display as soon as one comes straight to his face dispersing before it made contact, he shifted his head slightly as Ariel figured flew pass him, Ariel landed softly as he slides across the ground before he regained his balance, he felt Ether fist connect with his gut cutting his breath short, as his body flew across the cleared space falling to the ground with a thud rolling off the ground as soon as he could settling on his feet as his eyes blurred as Ether crept closer to him, Ether swiftly maneuvered as the balls of fire comes in contact with his body barely grazing his robe. riel forced himself to his feet assuming a fighting stance again kicking a rock at Ether face which he caught effortlessly he clenched his teeth in annoyance as he launched himself as Ether again.
Ether anticipated the attack raising his arm to block the attack that never hit causing him to lower his guide when he realized Ariel was gone, he looked to sides expecting an attack from either of the sides. Ariel crept lower as Ether head spun around but as soon as his head lowered he raised his feet to Ether jaw, Ether reduced the impact by placing his arm at the spot he got hit before the hit actually connected forcing back steps as Ariel spun his feet around landing connecting hits to Ether's guide causing him to lower his guide slightly, Ariel pushed himself up with his hand as he flipped through the air before hitting Ether with a drop kick on his shoulder before using Ether's body to push himself backwards. Ariel lands with a knee slide his gaze never leaving Ether who dusts off his shoulder as he composes himself back as his pupils dilate slightly before returning to normal. A scoff escaped Ariel lips, but the slight distraction got Ether right in front of him grabbing his face throwing him to the side of the clearing, a short gasp escaped his mouth as hit back hits the ground lifting him back into the air before his back touched the ground again Ether feet connected to his stomach, Ariel expected the hit placing his palm to reduce the impact he felt his bone crack as he crashes against the tree, he closed his eyes as he pushed himself up from the tree, immediately he got on his feet he rolled to the side as the tree got blown away if he was even 0.5 seconds late he would have gotten caught in the hit. He clenched his teeth as his body gives out on him. He collapses to the ground as his eyes gets blurry, he fisted his fists his nails poking at his flesh as his bones shift in place, his pupils dilated more mana flowing out of him not long after he ran out of mana, Ether shifted from one foot to another impatiently as he waits for him to finish. As soon as he ran out of mana he shifted to holy power, he body floats off the ground suspending in the air he airs around him grows warmer as his bones shift slightly.....
