Elias spent most of the remainder of the day talking with the other's and they were very welcoming and free with Elias they had even took turns telling him about their home world even Darin who was cold at first lossesened up a bit but as the night drew close Aedric and Elias had to leave,so they said their good byes but just before they left Orian gave Elias a custom made card which served as a means of identification and it was a pass to the facilities of the heritage holders.
Elias on his way home with Aedric currently was still admiring the card at the back of the card was the ISA logo and at the front with his picture the Radiant knights symbol which was two knights crossing spears under a bright sun but after looking at it for a while he eventually put it down as he turned to Aedric,he had something weighing on his mind "are you really going on a mission off world " Elias asked as he felt him going off world was as a result of his choice,Aedric was caught off guard by the question but sensing the guilt in he's voice he smiled as he said "relax lad,yes the mission is as a result of me bringing you in and you picking the Radiant knights but you don't need to feel guilty about that" Aedric said but still sensing the guilt he continued "remember the elemental cores I told you about,it has to be changed after a while and we get them from other planets especially those which climates and environment are specially fitted to the element we go there to mine it so it's quite a normal mission if I probably just got picked because I was available nothing to worry about " Elias who finally understood nodded as he responded "I see but what exactly are elemental cores",
"elemental cores are powerful orbs formed over a period of time,you see as a result of mana these cores are formed in planets where their natural climate fits the element,for earth which 71 percent is covered in water thus we produce water elemental cores and for elements like fire a climate of extreme heat is needed and Vulcaris is one of such planets with that climate within our reach so do you understand now",
"yes I do but when will you be leaving i initially thought you would be the one to train me" Elias said with a bit of disappointment,"do not worry about your training i trust the Admiral and any trannier he assigns to you will be great and I will be leaving next week",hearing this Elias mood dropped again he had grown close to Aedric over time but now he was leaving "lighten up kid i have good news,I was able to speak with Orian concerning your sisters transfer and he said they can start as soon as tomorrow so they can catch up " Aedric said sensing Elias mood and trying to cheer him up which worked as his mood brightened up,he was happy his sisters could go back to school but he still had one thing he wanted to ask Aedric "how long will you be gone" Aedric did not answer immediately as he seemed to be thinking before he responded "it normally a month for the minning process to start and finish if you are taking earth's time but adding the time to travel there and back a month and ten days as long as there are no complications", Elias nodded as he said nothing but made a mental note to work extremely hard and show Aedric the results of his hard work when he returns. After a few more minutes they finally arrived at Aedric's home and when they stepped out facing the house Elias was shocked at how big of a house it was if only Aedric stayed here but having seen the Talon estate and stayed there for sometime the size did not really shock him as much and as both walked to the entrance opening the door what welcomed their view was Aria and Celia in their new academy uniform running around the house and even destroying somethings in the process but they immediately stopped as they turned seeing Aedric and Elias standing at the door as they immediately ran towards Aedric as they said in unison "we are so sorry we just got carried away" but Aedric said nothing as he stared at them but thinking Aedric was really angry Elias was just about to join in the begging when he snapped he's fingers and using mana manipulation he put everything just the way as if brand new and looking at the two he said "the uniforms look good on you but save them for tomorrow where is Tyris " Aedric said as he walked in and patted their head and Aria and Celia were delighted that they had gotten away with ....I mean they had been forgiven as they said "thank you Uncle Aedric Tyris is in the kitchen making dinner " and just then Tyris came out of the kitchen holding a large serving when he noticed Aedric and Elias "welcome back sir I am sorry for going ahead to use the kitchen without your permission I just did not know how long you would stay and they were requesting for dinner sir and since they were items in the fridge i just used those and anything i could find" Tyris said as he was afraid of what Aedric might do but Aedric just walked towards him as he patted he's back as he said "you are no longer only a guard so lossen up you do not have to address me as sir and you don't have to worry about the kitchen the items were stocked for you all so it's yours to use to let's all sit down and taste what you have made" Aedric said as everyone sat down as Tyris served what he made which seemed to be beef stew and they all enjoyed it with Elias and Celia asking for more " that was amazing Tyris definitely a top contender for the best food I have ever eaten" Aedric said as Elias and his sisters nodded in agreement seeing Elias and his sisters all laughing and enjoying the food made Aedric remember when he was still younger when his son and wife were still around and it made him a tad emotional but he said nothing as he quietly enjoyed his own meal and after they were done he stood up first as he said "go freshen up we are going out for the night" everyone froze as they stared at Aedric with a confused expression except Celia who showed signs of excitement which was mainly because she could stay up late,"what is the occasion " Elias finally asked the question on everyone's mind,"nothing at all just take this as a treat from me plus you guys are new to the city so it isn't a bad idea to see around and the night view is breathtaking also after today Elias and Tyris will start work Aria and Celia will start school so it might be a while you spend time together like this again" Aedric said as he turned around leaving them with "be out in 15 minutes" Aria and Celia then preceeded to draging Elias around the house showing him around and the room they picked for him,Elias was a bit conflicted since he had no say in it but he said nothing as they had already helped him to settle in and even before the 15 minutes was up everyone was already out as they meet Aedric already waiting in the sitting room and seeing them all come out he nodded as he stood up saying "there is going to be a light show happening this evening it also is like a small festival i was thinking we should attend so does anyone has any objections or complaints" Elias and his sisters had never seen an actual light show so they were excited so everyone agreed not like they had anything else in mind and so they left on their way Aedric had already arranged a ride for them before hand so they did not have to wait long and so as they drove by the night streets of Sky city it gave them the opportunity to admire the beauty of the city Aedric was not exaggerating at all the city seemed to not sleep as neon lights painted the night sky and streets making it a collaboration of many colours it was truly a beautiful site to behold after about 20 minutes of driving they finally arrived at the place which was an open field with food and game stalls litered everywhere as they arrived Aedric removed most of the things he had arranged for from the car which was a pinic blanket and some drinks and other items as they all moved to find a good spot before setting up "when is the light show going to start" Celia asked unable to wait any longer,Aedric taking a look at his watch replied "it will start in about 10 minutes but in the meantime why don't you all go around and check out the stalls " which they all accepted as he gave Elias some money to pay for anything they wanted and so Elias,his sisters and Tyris all went around from one stall to another and they were even stalls with many games which Aria and Celia were able to win some prizes "alright let's head back we have spent alot of time let's not make Aedric come looking for us" Elias said as Tyris and Aria nodded but Celia was not satisfied just yet "just one more big brother please I saw one more i want to see please " Celia said as she dragged Elias towards the stall she was referring to,he knew Celia was very happy and excited so he decided to humour her at least this once when "ouch" as a result of Celia draging him he bumped into someone but when he did not feel the pain of hitting the ground like he expected he opened his eyes and he was left thunderstruck because right now he was in the arms of an elf and not just any elf one of the most beautiful women he had ever laid his eyes on,he found himself staring at her unconsciously completely forgetting she was holding him from falling she had long black hair which was tied into a ponytail and her eyes were a light shade of blue to Elias she was beautiful in every sense of the word,this all happened within a few seconds but for Elias it felt way longer "I am sorry for bumping into you I hope you are alright " she said breaking the silence and snapping Elias back to reality as he quickly got back up before saying "you don't have to apologise i couldn't stop myself in time because of my .." before Elias could finish she cut him off "it is fine it was a mistake but I really must be going now enjoy the rest of your evening" she said as she turned around leaving hurriedly leaving Elias standing as he stared at her fading away when "what was that big brother why did you say nothing you were obviously love struck " Aria said as her and Tyris who were following behind saw everything "I don't know what you are talking about "Elias said as he defended himself trying to make it as believable as possible "it was very obvious big brother " Celia said as she stared at Elias in disappointment forgetting her initial intention "brother are you still bothered about what happened with Karin is that why?" Aria said but
hearing that name brought bad memories back,Karin was his first and only girlfriend she was a regular at the shop and she had a very kind and caring personality which made it easier to fall for her,eventually they started talking and advanced to a relationship but a year into it Elias found out she was only using him to make her weapons so she could resell and since Elias was not charging her for any of the weapons he made for her she was basically making free money after he found out he was heart broken and could not pick up the hammer for a while and that was why he had made no effort in trying in another relationship, "who is Karin" Tyris asked curious "his ex" Aria said blatantly putting Elias in an awkward place but before they could say anything else the light show started as different colors of light beams illuminated the sky "oh no it has already started quickly let's go" Elias said as they hurried back to their spot meeting up with Aedric who asked why they stayed so long and the blame was shifted to Celia as they reached just in time to still catch most of the light show with the light forming different shapes and forms and even taking the form of some animals it was truly a sight to behold and as Elias watched he thought silently "maybe it is time to move on" .
