After a short drive they arrived at the Solarium, having already familiarised himself with the place Tyris went off on his own he had to quickly get to the Skywing orientation as he was just one of the many new recruits.
Meanwhile Elias and Aedric went off together. Aedric still needed to show him around the Radiant Knights'floor and where he would meet his master.They wasted no time taking the elevator and what greeted Elias's view was a floor as large as the ground floor with small apartments all around which were the homes of most of the Radiant Knights,they continued down a hall way but Elias noticed that there was almost no one here in this large floor the only people they saw occasionally were floor guards just stationed at their post so he couldn't help but ask: "Where are the other Radiant Knights".
Aedric laughed as he said "the Radiant Knights are very few in number as you know and they are hardly any stationed on Earth,the few on Earth are either in seclusion or training in dimensional rifts,the others are sent to other planets to help small planets with dimensional rifts breakout until they can stand on their own feet and some go on even more dangerous missions with some heritage holders or on their own to planets that just experienced their own Cataclysmic event the same one that happened to us years ago to aid and bring them under the ISA,some never make it back but it's the job."
Aedric said as his words carried a weight so old and heavy Elias felt it but could do nothing but nodded silently.
After walking for a bit they reached a giant metal door almost fifteen feet tall,Aedric stepped forward placing his card on the panel as the doors slowly opened and inside was a large arena and it was almost as large as the one the heritage holders had to themselves,the place was certainly large but what caught the attention of the two men was the people who seemed to be engaged in a serious fight right at the middle of the arena,it was a two versus one fight with the 2 who seemed to be on the receiving end of the brawl and they looked very much alike one could tell easily they were twins even in the way they fought,one wielded a spear piercing and attacking in lengths while pushing their opponent back while the other using daggers took advantage of any opening he could trying to deal a fatal attack they were clearly looking for the fastest way to end the fight but the person on the receiving end of their combined precision and relentless attacks was a woman who had blonde hair tied up in a bun,she gave off the impression of a well dignified professor but the way she fought was of the nature of a beast,she took on the twins deadly attacks with her bare hands unconcerned about even blocking but just returning the same relentless attacks back to the twins with just her fist but her expression portrayed nothing it was as calm as if she was taking a cup of tea.
When she spotted us standing at the far end,she stopped moving held the spear headed for her with one hand and having seen this perfect opportunity the twin with the daggers launched foward determined to make the most of this movement but just as he drew near to her he had no idea when or how but his whole world flipped as a sharp pain assaulted his head,he had been hit on the head and sent flying, seeing this the twin with the spear immediately let go and tried to go for her head but he was kicked right on his chest as he coughed up a mouth full of blood and was sent flying back too hitting his twin as they both collapsed. It all happened so fast that if you had blinked you might have missed the entire thing and with the fight over she dropped the spear and walked up to Aedric saluting him:" Good morning Commander Aedric."
Aedric simply nodded to her as he looked at the twins who seemed to still be barely conscious still trying to get back up before looking back at her and saying "you would have gone easy on them Major Helena", Aedric said showing genuine pity for them but Helena responded as she scoffed as she looked towards them "it is our duty as Radiant knights to constantly improve on ourselves to prepare for the next challenge that would come our way,you both are dismissed" ,they both tried their best to salute their two superiors as they dragged each other straight to the medical bay as they were sure a good number of bones were broken.
"So this is the new recuit", Helena said as she turned around and stared down at Elias gauging him "doesn't seem like much to me I don't think he will survive my traning", Helena said but before Aedric could say anything Elias stepped foward and saluted Helena as he said "Elias Droman and it's an honour to learn from you Major I won't let you down".
Seeing this Aedric smiled as he nodded before looking back at her "cut him some slack,he has the will and the spirit you can shape him to be a fine lad and who knows he might even rival your other student the golden boy" Helena said nothing but seemed to be thinking about what Aedric just said before finally sighing and responding "I doubt that but I will do my best Commander and if you truly see something in him he might actually be worth it" Aedric nodded as he turned back to Elias "this is your master Major Helena Vale and from here on out you will be in her care,this is where I leave you Elias but the Major is very dependable and I trust her just hold firm her methods are harsh but everything good doesn't come easy."
He patted Elias shoulder before saluting him and finally leaving.Standing alone with Helena, Elias had no idea what to do or say and the slience just kept getting more and more suffocating by the second until she left him Standing walking to one of the bench where her bag was as she removed her gloves and picked up a tablet as she looked at it and at Elias before she finally spoke "do you think you can handle a war hammer as a good weapon?"Helena asked while still looking through the tablet leaving Elias to think about it and Elias already had been thinking about it since the previous night Aedric told him what most of his traning would be about and the thought of the hammer actually did cross his mind as he was more used to something of that nature and it seemed like the ideal weapon for a blacksmith, but it didn't feel right to him so after giving it a bit more thought he finally decided on something he liked which could give the same feeling as a hammer but something also very cool and there was only thing that came to Elias mind "I gave it alot of thought and I would prefer a single head axe,I think it would fit me much better than the hammer would."
Hearing this Helena lifted her head up with an amused expression on her face that bloomed into a smile but Elias immediately felt something was terribly wrong with that smile, "same as him" Helena though as she stood up and looked straight into Elias eyes "I'm going to break,forge,and reforge you over and over again until I'm satisfied my dear student.
