Synopsis
Symphony of the Still Earth Long ago, the Earth was a perfect symphony of life—until human greed shattered the Aether Stone, the magical core that kept the world turning. In an instant, time stood still. The world was split in two: one side scorched by a relentless sun, the other trapped in an eternal frozen night under a Blood-Red Moon. In the frozen wastes, every snowflake is a tear of regret for a ruined world. The survivors huddle behind the Great Walls of PETERUM-MAN, a fortress of technology hiding dark secrets behind the roar of its steam engines. Nugia (Subject 009), a boy with electric sapphire hair, wakes up with no memory. Trained as a heartless instrument of death, he is an assassin under the command of the flame-hungry Captain Ariella. But within his veins pulses an ancient power known as Silent Time—an anomaly capable of stopping the very heartbeat of time. Trapped in a vortex of betrayal and horrific human experiments, Nugia begins to uncover his past. Through his mother’s secret recordings, he learns the truth: he is the Heir of Sasmita, the key to reuniting the nine fragments of the Aether Stone. Can Nugia restart the world’s rotation? Or will he shatter before the true dawn ever shines again? "When the symphony is complete, the Earth will turn. But beware, for the sun’s light sometimes brings a curse worse than the dark."

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Rainbow Glow Over the Eternal Snow

The world had long forgotten the touch of the warm sun. In this corner of the Earth, trapped within an eternal icy night, the sky was nothing more than a vast black canvas, adorned with coldly flickering stars and a sinister blood-red moon. Snow fell like an unending curse, shrouding everything in sharp, lethal white crystals.

Yet, in a hidden hollow among the glacial mountains, lay a beautiful anomaly—a settlement that seemed to defy death itself: The Village of the Blue Mushroom.

There, the air did not freeze. Instead, it felt cool and comfortable, like an eternal spring. The secret lay at the heart of the village; a giant crystal, as tall as a two-story house, embedded deep within the earth. The villagers called it the "Azure Heart," an ancient Spirit Stone that emitted a steady, sapphire glow. The energy from this stone created an invisible, transparent dome that kept the village warm and, more importantly, kept the hungry, giant monsters of the snow forest at bay.

Under the protection of that blue light, the houses stood unique. They were not built from ordinary wood or stone, but from the hollows of giant, living mushrooms that pulsed with a soft blue luminescence.

Inside one of the largest mushroom houses, the aroma of thick mushroom soup and freshly baked wheat bread filled the air.

"Nugia, stop clinging to the window. Your breath is fogging up the glass," a deep but gentle voice broke the silence of the home.

Maryan, a man with broad shoulders and calloused hands, sat by the fireplace. He had just returned from patrolling the borders of the protective dome. Though his face looked weary, his eyes shone with love as he looked at his youngest son.

Nugia turned away from the window, his small nose slightly red. "Father, is it really that cold out there? I saw a bird earlier... ice crystals fell from its wings."

Maryan chuckled, beckoning Nugia to come closer. As the boy sat on his lap, Maryan ruffled Nugia's hair. "The cold out there can freeze your blood in seconds, Champ. That is why we must be grateful for the Azure Heart. Without it, our village would be nothing but an icy graveyard."

Suddenly, the kitchen door opened. Fermina appeared with a wooden tray steaming with heat. Her beauty was a calm grace in the middle of a brutal world. She wore a simple wool dress, yet she moved like a queen within the small house.

"It's time to eat. Nadia, call your brother!" Fermina called out.

Nadia, who had been sitting in the corner reading an old scroll on magic theory, stood up immediately. She was a mirror of her mother's future; beautiful, pale-skinned, and possessing an extraordinary calmness for her age.

"I'm here, Mother," Nadia replied softly. She walked over and helped her mother set the table.

The large teak table was soon filled with simple but nutritious dishes. There was mushroom soup with smoked meat, wheat bread, and warm milk. They sat in a circle—a tradition they never missed.

"Maryan, you seem restless today," Fermina said as she ladled soup into her husband's bowl. She knew every line on his face.

Maryan fell silent for a moment, his grip on the wooden spoon tightening. "The energy of the Azure Heart... it trembled a bit this afternoon. I don't know if it was just a shift in the earth or something else. But Grandfather Toto said we shouldn't worry."

After dinner, Nadia and Nugia grabbed their thick jackets. They headed toward the river where the giant mushrooms created a rainbow of light against the dark. Thousands of golden fireflies danced over the water, looking like fallen stars.

"Remember what Father said," Nadia whispered to Nugia as she guided his hands. "Magic is not in your hands, but in your heart. Feel the warmth of the soup, feel Mother's love. Imagine it all becoming a calm fire."

Nugia closed his eyes tight. A small spark appeared. It wasn't just any spark; it was purer and brighter than Nadia's—a sign of the immense "Spirit Stone" potential within him.

"Nadia, look! I did it!" Nugia cried out, his eyes sparkling with hope.

But in an instant, the joy vanished. The fireflies fled toward the forest in terror. The steady blue glow of the Azure Heart at the center of the village began to vibrate violently, turning into a painful, pale hue. The protective dome felt as if it were being crushed by a massive, invisible force.

"Nadia... why are the fireflies leaving?" Nugia asked, his small fire dying out.

Nadia pulled her brother into a tight embrace, her eyes fixed on the snowstorm beyond the village borders. "Nugia... we need to go home. Now!"

Far off, Fermina stood at their doorway, her face pale with a panic she couldn't hide. "Naaa! Nuuu! Come home, my darlings! Father is waiting!"

Nadia was about to scream back when the sky above them seemed to tear open. It wasn't lightning. It was the shrill, high-pitched scream of metal slicing through the freezing air—marking the end of their peace forever.
