Nazareth began to tightly squeeze Jill as the fear of what had just occurred washed over him like cold water; every inch of his air became strained like a soldier as his arms nearly crushed Jill.
Jill, at first enjoying the hug from her god, began to realise she couldn't breathe as her lord's arms tightly engulfed her, her organs shifting. With a light tap on Nazareth's back and a soft, calm but suffocating voice,
"My lord, can you please release me?"
These words at first flew past Nazareth before it clicked what he was doing. With a sudden release and a great gasp escaping Jill's mouth, she could once again breathe. However, this action made both blush, as Jill revelled in the honour and touch of her god whilst Nazareth looked embarrassed.
A stuttering, embarrassed word exited Nazareth's mouth.
"Sor... sorry, Jill."
Jill looked at Nazareth as she took off her Krieg mask; her now unblocked hair flowed down her back as her blue eyes looked deeply into Nazareth. Nazareth, in return, looked at Jill and, for the first time, realised what a beauty she was. The tension within the cave began to increase before a powerful wail of happiness made both break contact.
Viserion, the large raskal, was biting Nazareth's sword, which glowed with a golden and green light; its hilt, with the soul stone encrusted within it, shone.
Nazareth's attention shifted from Jill to his sword. The feeling of it cleaving apart daemons and beasts alike sent a chill shuddering up his back. Nazareth's hand reached out and picked the sword up, gazing at it as it dazzled like a star.
The sword as a whole looked more refined, as the gold and silver within the centre seemed to have fully combined, whilst the green trimmings shone with power. The soul stone on the cross dazzled as Nazareth's eyes looked into it — the one Farseer who had come with the sword now appeared to be fighting blood-skinned daemons.
Nazareth looked shocked as he watched the Farseer battle the daemons he had slain in combat. Suddenly, a prompt appeared before his eyes:
Congratulations, Naz, you have succeeded in not succumbing to Khorne's temptations. As a result, you shall be rewarded! -
Happiness and excitement washed over his face as Jill, on her knees next to Nazareth, scooted closer to her god to see why he was looking so intently and excitedly at his sword.
-Naz, the awards are as follows -
-10,000 pts -
-An enchantment upon the sword purchased -
-A boost in the range of the Necklace, where anything from the Immaterium within five metres loses half of its power -
Nazareth looked at the results, stunned — ten thousand points, an enchantment on his sword, and the necklace now weakening the warp around him.
As Nazareth stopped thinking for a moment, his sword shone with a bright light as it began to grow to two and a half metres, whilst a faint golden and green glow emanated from it. Nazareth's necklace also sent out a circle of green particles, which stopped exactly at five metres before disappearing.
Jill, watching this unfold, had her whole perspective reopened as she witnessed a miracle performed by her god. She began to pray beside Nazareth with happiness and honour at the scene.
This was brilliant. Nazareth quickly moved to the shop to see what he could purchase with the new points gained.
- Dear Nazareth, due to the battle you had in Khorne's realm and the anger at your sudden disappearance, Khorne has marked your soul. This has resulted in the other Chaos Gods beginning to research what had occurred to make Khorne this angry. So, a warning will be issued that you must be careful in any future endeavour involving the Immaterium. -
Furthermore, due to you personally killing a multitude of daemons, their souls shall be converted to points, and their experience shall once again be given to you. -
Nazareth's mind went into overload at that statement.
'The Chaos Gods will be seeking me out, basically.'
His fear, which had been passive until now, flared at the fact that the Chaos Gods — all four major ones — would be searching for him. This was definitely not good.
Nazareth's mind began backpedalling before the feeling of fear started to fade; however, it lingered in his mind.
'Let's have a look at the shop. Hopefully, there'll be something useful.'

Nazareth's eyes flew over the old options and looked at the three new ones. 'Interesting,' Nazareth's mind began working on what to buy. Time ticked by until, with quick movements of his fingers and the ping of a confirmation of purchase, an error appeared before his eyes.
- Warning! The purchases cannot be placed within such a confined space. Please move to an open area to receive. -
Nazareth looked around as he finally took in the tiny cave that had been inhabited by himself, Jill, and Viserion before. With a quick push from his legs, he rose to his three-metre-tall stature.
Jill watched, still praying on the ground towards Nazareth, as her 'god' moved towards the opening of the cave, and with a smile, a bright light once again lit the cave and the night sky white.
Nazareth peered into the light as a tear appeared, and with it, five Kriegmen stepped from the white light. Immediately, the five knelt and shouted their allegiance to their 'god' and 'saviour'.
Each Kriegman had a las-rifle and the standard gear for a soldier. With a swift decree, Nazareth named them.
The five newly named Kriegmen bowed and kneeled even lower, their heads touching the ground, before they were abruptly pushed away from the tear in reality. Nazareth's eyes tried to adjust as the brightness grew even more, and with a sudden pop and swirl from the portal, a baby German Shepherd came running and jumped into the air before Nazareth grabbed the dog.
Nazareth looked at the dog, which constantly tried to lick every inch of him, before the tear in reality disappeared and the darkness of night returned. A small laugh escaped Nazareth as he looked at the dog.
"Cain. That shall be your name," Nazareth abruptly announced, looking at the dog, which seemed to nod in agreement.
The five Kriegmen, along with Jill, stood around Nazareth as he looked at Cain, thinking about how he could use its abilities. Viserion, behind the group, finally emerged from the cave, as the bright light had previously startled the dragon, causing it to hide. With the light finally gone, Viserion looked into Nazareth's arms to see a 'dog?'.
Almost immediately, Nazareth turned to see the dragon edging closer with anger at Cain, who had taken its resting place (previously, whilst Viserion had been looking at Nazareth's sword, it had crawled into his arms).
Nazareth looked at the dragon and Cain in his arms. The cogs within his head started to spin before he patted the dragon and, in doing so, took a scale from its head and promptly presented the scale to Cain, who, seeing it, had an insatiable hunger and abruptly broke Nazareth's grip to consume it.
Cain, having fully eaten the scale, started to rapidly swell, causing Nazareth to throw him. The surrounding Kriegmen, Jill, and Viserion immediately jumped back as Cain rapidly expanded, appendages forming on his back. With the sound of bone cracking and blood hitting the floor, the once tiny German Shepherd grew to a beast fifty metres in size and still increasing, as the appendages on his back formed into wings that spread outwards, blocking the night sky.
Cain let out a humongous roar as the ground shook and the surrounding Kriegmen took defensive stances, placing themselves between Nazareth and the 'monster'. Viserion, meanwhile, looked utterly terrified as the tiny dog it had just hissed at became larger and larger.
Cain's face, once fluffy and dog-like, became covered in scales as his body stopped swelling. Before their eyes, his fur was replaced with eerily white scales, and his eyes became red slits.
This whole process made Nazareth think about what he had done, before, with a sickening crunch. Cain's head snapped, and the now hundred-metre-long creature, with a two-hundred-metre wingspan, looked at the gathered people. Nazareth stumbled at the sight — the tiny dog that barely fit in his hand had turned into this.
Nazareth regained some confidence before reaching out to touch the snout of the huge dragon.
Cain watched as his 'master' reached with his hand and gently moved his gigantic head to meet it. With the connection of the two, a bond between minds was made as Nazareth felt the power within Cain, whilst Cain felt the excitement — and something darker — within Nazareth. Then, with an action beyond human sight, Nazareth jumped onto Cain's back.
Cain, startled by the sudden action, stumbled, causing the remainder of Nazareth's group to edge into the cave, with Viserion looking on in absolute terror.
Nazareth, standing upon Cain's back, looked as the scales beneath him begin to deform before reforming into a throne of white with black lines. He promptly took his seat.
Shock at what had just happened still hadn't faded from Nazareth as Cain's head reared upwards to lock eyes with him before, with slow, deliberate movements, Cain knelt on all four legs, lowering his right wing towards the entrance of the cave.
The Kriegmen looked at the sudden display with awe before, with proud strides, Jill walked up the beast's wing all the way to where Nazareth was sitting upon a throne of white.
The other five Kriegmen looked stunned before, with short stumbles of their feet and tripping over scales on the climb, they finally managed to arrive at what looked to be seating, as more chairs formed behind Nazareth's throne.
Nazareth, meanwhile, looked at the scene with evident happiness as a chair formed to his right and a cage to his left. Jill walked along the back of the beast and took her seat to Nazareth's right, while Viserion looked at the sudden transformation of the tiny dog into this absolute beast of a dragon, and had fear all over its face.
A small huff escaped Cain's snout as his forward-facing eyes locked on Viserion, and with a commanding roar, Viserion flew into the cage next to Nazareth.
With everybody on board, Nazareth's mind turned to where to go as Cain carefully read his 'master's' command.
With powerful thrusts of Cain's wings, the giant of a dragon began to rise steadily as the surrounding sand flew as if a tornado had arrived. The soldiers, along with Jill, looked at the sudden disappearance of the ground as Cain's wings carried the group far above the clouds.
(AN: Hello, yes, he has a pet which can transform into anything. But this is only for a bit; otherwise, I wouldn't want it to be this easy. Viserion is still the main dragon, it's just I thought instead of five chapters of walking like the LOTR films, I'll just skip the walking. The Dragon has six limbs, not including its tail, so imagine an actual dragon, not a wyvern, of which the dragons is AGOT are so womp womp. Also 2K words)
