Noah and Noelle stood face to face with each other, both of them had heard the announcement from the Duke, but neither started the duel for different reasons.
Noelle did not wish to hurt her brother, while Noah... he was thinking of ways to defeat her swiftly.
'Motherfucker... am I getting nervous or excited? My heart beat is off the charts for sure.'
As time ticked by, the soldiers around them whispered among themselves.
With the heightened senses after reaching the channelling stage, Noah can hear them all loud and clear.
"Why is this trash even fighting against Young Miss?"
"He must have hit his head or something, haha."
"There is no way, someone like him who has never lifted a sword, capable of winning against, young miss."
Noah frowned when he heard those soldiers.
'Fuckers, none of them have faith in me. Well, let's start, can't have it dragged more.'
"What are you waiting for, Noelle? Or are you afraid you will hurt your brother? Don't worry, come at me without holding back. These fools really wish to see the strength of their next ruler."
The fools here were definitely the soldiers who were whispering about him.
"Are you not going to use a weapon, brother?" Noelle asked with a calm voice.
She was waiting for Noah to take out his weapon before she took out hers. For her, he was still powerless, so the least he could do was pick a weapon.
"A weapon? No, no, no. I will not dare use a weapon against my dear sister, will I? Instead..."
***Noah's P.O.V***
"Instead..."
I raised the corner of my lips, my eyes gleaming brightly upon the use of my aspect.
[Your aspect 'Purest Mana' has been activated.]
I was going to use my aspect to its maximum potential.
All mana shall listen to me, not only those that are in me but even those that are outside me.
I have never given anyone from my novel this power, cause I thought it would be too extreme. I would have given this to my MC, but his potential was worse than mine, so I never did, cause it would have seemed weird. But now?
It was clear to everyone that mana began to surge around me. They gathered so much that it became possible to see them with the naked eye.
Such a spectacle indeed put everyone in awe, but they weren't willing to believe that the trash they knew was the one who was doing it.
"I will not even touch you, my dear sister and yet... You will admit your defeat yourself."
I proudly announced. Though it was a lie. Her body constitution is better than mine; if I go on fighting her in close combat, I can never win.
So, I will use another aspect.

With these two, I don't even need to use my own mana, but I can see a flaw here.
I don't think I can control more mana than what I have gathered inside me, so I can do one thing.
Use the mana outside to recharge during a fight. I will never run out of mana then.
So, what was that earth spell, ah... Gravitation.
A spell that will make the opponent unable to move. It doesn't require huge mana at once, but it will keep on taking mana from me to work.
It will slow her down for sure, but my mastery isn't there yet to stop her movements completely.
"Gravitation."
I did not have to chant a spell, I don't need to, it just sounds cool.
As my words fell, the arena began to shake, and an unknown force was pulling the arena and everything in it down.
Noelle felt it; her body went heavy, more than 7 times, and yet, it wasn't enough to bring her down to her knees.
"Is this a spell?"
Heck, she seems unfazed. A knight is tough for sure.
"Are you surprised, sister?"
"Umm, a little bit. I thought you had received a weapon from mother, but I am glad. You have done something by yourself. So, I will not hold back either. Just keep your promise to both me and Rose."
She finally took her sword out and unsheathed it, and then took a stance to lunge at me with her full speed.
Her movements are still flawless, I need to act soon.
"Well, that I will, after I see a defeat, but someone like you can never make me feel that."
I stomped with my foot on the ground, and lunged at her, using air dash, before she did anything.
My speed was incredibly fast, fast enough to make me lose my balance.
Within a second, I stood beside her. Nobody was ready for such an action from me.
"See?"
I whispered into her ears and dashed again to her back.
I can feel it, she turned her face to see me and now I can see it too.
"Are you surprised? Your face tells me everything. You weren't able to see my movements, right? Then how do you wish to defeat me?"
I dashed again, reaching my initial position before she could act at all.
I was mocking her, but at the same time, I wished to get used to this insane speed. Practice makes a man perfect.
I won't he fun, but maybe I should end it now. I was never going to fight her till death anyway. For now, I only wish to scare her a little and think of me as her big brother that she can never win against, cause after this, she never can.
Her deafening now will turn into admiration later on, I will make it happen, and then admiration will turn into obsession.
You will become obsessed with me, Noelle, obsessed with defeating me, but your every loss will only make you closer to me.
"I am bored. Let me end this now, Noelle."
With that, I stepped forward, but my feet never touched the land again.
