Chapter 82 - Special: 2 —Ten years anniversary

Luca's POV

Ten years since Rian claimed me.

"Can you believe it's been ten years?" I ask, getting ready for our anniversary dinner.

"Ten years since the best mistake of my life." He comes up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Ten years of loving you."

"And three kids later."

"And three perfect kids later," he corrects. "Best decade of my life."

The pack is babysitting all three kids tonight—our first night completely alone in years.

"Freedom," I joke as we drive to the restaurant.

"Don't get used to it. We're picking them up in the morning." But he's smiling.

Dinner is perfect—fancy restaurant, good food, just us talking like when we were newlyweds.

"Remember our first date?" I ask. "You were so nervous."

"Because I'd kidnapped you and was trying to romance you properly." He takes my hand. "Felt impossible."

"But you did it. Wore me down with persistence and love."

"Best strategy ever."

After dinner, he drives to our clearing—where he first claimed me, where we've had so many important moments.

It's transformed—candles everywhere, flowers, soft music playing.

"You did all this?" I breathe.

"Wanted to celebrate properly. Ten years. Three kids. One perfect life." He pulls me close. "Dance with me?"

We sway under the stars, just like we have dozens of times before.

"I love you," I say. "More now than ten years ago."

"I love you more." He kisses me deeply. "Thank you. For forgiving me. For staying. For building this life with me."

"Thank you for claiming me. For not giving up. For loving me through everything."

We make love under the stars—tender, passionate, full of ten years of love and memories.

"Ten more years?" he asks afterward, holding me close.

"Ten more decades," I correct. "Forever."

"Forever," he agrees.

The next morning, picking up the kids, they swarm us.

"Missed you!" Kai, now eight, hugs tight.

"Mama! Dada!" Luna, six, climbs on Rian.

"Home!" Asher, four, wraps around my leg.

"Missed you all too," I laugh.

Back home, all five of us cuddled together, feels perfect.

"Ten years," Rian murmurs. "And look what we built."
