The moment the door shut, Isabelle's strength gave out, and she stumbled, but Elias caught her.
She couldn't move. She simply rested her head on his chest, as her body trembled.
Her lungs couldn't even draw enough air as memories of the past mistake she had made flooded back.

Elias held her shoulders, silently watching her as she broke down even further.
"Ms Han—Isabelle—breathe." He said.
She pressed a hand to her mouth, tears threatening to fall and her chest tightening painfully.
"He wants the seal…" she whispered brokenly. "I—I told him everything when I was stupid and young— This... this is my fault—this is all my fault—"
"It's not," Elias said, firmer than before. "None of this is your fault."
