Isabelle sat by her father's side for a while. She did not say anything, and neither did she peel her gaze away.
She simply stared, as if trying to face the result of her foolishness in the past.
This wasn't the first time she was sitting and just staring.
She did it every time she visited, and she rarely visited.
She couldn't bring herself to say anything and couldn't bring herself to plead for forgiveness either.
That was why she found it hard to come visit her father regularly. It reminded her of memories she didn't want to recall.
It reminded her how weak and foolish she had been as a child, even at 21.
Elias watched a she simply stared at her father's face with no words or expression to say what she wanted to.
Then, she closed her eyes and stood up.
"You really don't have to wait for me, Mr. Yoon." She said but he shook his head.
"It's fine." He said. "I would only worry if I left you here like this."
