Kane, Aira, Galen, the two red-armored youths, and the young woman in black armor were all healed before Draven's eyes as the golden butterflies circled around their bodies.
Just as Draven was trying to process everything happening before him, two beautiful women in luxurious clothes suddenly appeared before him out of nowhere.
Draven's expression sharpened when he saw them. Although he did not know how powerful they were, his 7th sense gave him a feeling that these two women were far stronger than him.
Coupled with the fact that they had healed everyone he was fighting against, including himself, in a matter of seconds, Draven concluded they were the masterminds behind everything.
Without hesitation, he kneeled and bowed with his right hand on his chest. "I beg you, Seniors, to have mercy and spare my sister's life. Whatever you want in return, just order me. I will try my best to satisfy your demand."
Seraphina hurriedly pulled Draven up from the ground and wiped the bloodstain from the corner of his mouth with her jade-like hands. "Do you really not remember your grandma anymore, my child?" she asked, her face full of sorrow.
Draven looked at her blankly. What is this? Is she someone like Silas, who likes making people call him grandfather?
Seeing Draven's suspicious look, Elara sighed. "Don't worry, kid. Your sister is fine. Just like how we tested your combat power, we also tested hers. That photo Galen showed you was from that time. You can see her after we get back inside the aircraft."
An expression of relief finally appeared on Draven's face. The silvery-white color of his hair and brows returned to black, and his ruby-red eyes changed back to their original purple color.
His entire aura, which had been like a wild beast a moment ago, transformed back into that of a peaceful buddha in a second, making people doubt if he really was that mad demon from before.
"May I know why you Seniors are testing us?" Draven asked tentatively.
"Don't call us Seniors. My name is Seraphina, and I am your father's mother. This is sister Elara; she is your mother's mother. You can just call us Grandma from now on. As for all the little brats who fought with you, they are your cousins. You also have one more big sister and a big brother; we will introduce them to you later," Seraphina explained briefly.
After caressing Draven's face lovingly, Seraphina turned her head and calmly scanned the remaining youngsters. "Six Ascendant Realm cultivators, dozens of self-activating defense formation plates, top-quality spirit weapons. Despite having all these, all of you still failed to subdue a Mortal Realm cultivator who did not even have a spirit weapon. Tell me, what is your explanation for this?"
All six youngsters looked away in embarrassment. After all, even after ganging up on him, they still had not managed to win. What explanation could they possibly give?
"Grandma, you cannot blame me for it. I am younger than big brother Draven, so it is natural that I would be defeated," Galen was the first to offer an excuse.
Everyone's eyes lit up, and they soon echoed similar excuses.
"Yeah, I am also younger than big brother Draven by a year, so you cannot blame me either," Aira chimed in.
Draven's mouth twitched. All these idiots are an entire realm higher than me, yet they are making it seem like I was the one who bullied them.
Now everyone's attention was on Kane, as he was the only one not younger than Draven.
Kane thought for a moment before saying, "Little brother Draven is a true hunter, as the rumors said. Such people are warriors who constantly dance on the edge of life and death. That is the reason we lost, even though we are stronger. In his eyes, it is either victory or death. But for us, it is either victory or defeat, because even if we lose, we are sure we will not die easily thanks to the treasures we carry."
Seraphina nodded in satisfaction. "At least one of you is not dumb. But let me make it clear: if we had let him continue, even with your self-activating formation plates, he would have killed all of you."
She then turned to Galen. "Especially you. If he had ordered you to kill yourself when he cast that puppetry skill on you, you would have done it long ago. It is fortunate that he was still worried about his sister's safety, so he never truly intended to kill any of you from the start. Otherwise, we might have had to intervene much sooner."
Galen blushed. He had not expected Draven's puppetry skill to be so terrifying, capable of controlling someone an entire realm higher than him. What was even more frightening was that he had not seen any way to break free from it. It was as if his life and death were entirely under Draven's control at that moment.
"We tried, but big brother is too strong," Galen finally said with a sigh.
"Hmm... Can anyone please explain everything to me in detail? I am a little confused about the whole situation," Draven once again tentatively asked Seraphina in a low voice. After all, the other party was a powerful expert, and Draven did not dare behave wantonly just because she said he was her grandson.
Seraphina sighed as she thought about the past. "Eleven years ago, you and your sister were kidnapped by a group of villains. Although we searched everywhere for you two over the years, all the searches proved useless. It was as if you two had vanished."
"It was only recently that we came to notice a girl in the Golden Phoenix Academy who awakened the Radiant Behemoth bloodline, which is unique to your mother's family. We were suspicious at first, but after a bit of investigation, we concluded it was both you and your sister. So we travelled here to bring you both back to the Skywalker family."
Draven listened to everything carefully. Ever since he knew both he and Jessy were not related to Lira by blood, Draven had wondered who his actual family was, but he did not expect to meet them so suddenly.
Draven felt speechless at the moment. He opened his mouth, but no words came out.
Just then, a spatial gate opened near them and four people walked out.
Draven recognized one of them; it was Jessy. As for the other three, one was an old man with red eyes and a white beard, wearing a white robe. He could not actually be said to be old, as the only sign which showed his age was his white beard. Except for that, everything else was like that of a middle-aged man. His skin was smooth, body muscular, and his eyes full of vigor.
The next one was a middle-aged man in black robes. He had purple eyes and black hair, with a neatly trimmed face which gave him a naturally refined look.
The last one was a young lady with some level of resemblance to Jessy. She had golden eyes and purple hair, making her look elegant even though she looked somewhat unapproachable with her cold attitude.
"Let me introduce you. This old man is Devis; he is your grandfather from your father's side. And that black-robed one is your grandfather from your mother's side, Magnus. As for this little girl, she is your big sister, Saya," Seraphina introduced the newly arrived people to Draven cheerfully.
Just as Draven was ready to greet them, Devis interrupted him with a cold look on his face. "Tell me, who are you, and what is your position in the True Demon Guild?"
Draven paused for a moment and looked at the white-robed man in confusion. "I don't know what you are talking about."
Seraphina stepped forward and asked Devis with a frown, "What nonsense are you sprouting? How can the child know about them?"
Devis ignored Seraphina and fixed his eyes on Draven. Suddenly, Draven felt as though a mountain was on his shoulders, and he was pinned to the ground by the aura emanating from Devis's body.
The sound of bone cracking rang out as blood started flowing from the tiny cracks formed on Draven's iron-like skin.
Everyone, including Seraphina and Elara, was stunned for a moment when this happened.
A mighty aura suddenly burst forth from Seraphina's body and formed a protective cage around Draven, protecting him from Devis's aura.
"Stop this madness! If anything happens to him, I will kill myself! Even though you all claim to be my family, from the day I remember, I have only had one person as my family, and that is my brother! I will not just watch someone torture him before my eyes without doing anything..." Jessy suddenly shouted with teary eyes, making Devis stop his action.
"You better give me a satisfactory explanation, otherwise..." Seraphina glared at Devis coldly.
Devis sneered. "There is nothing to explain. He is not our grandson, but a demon vessel created by the True Demon Cult to disguise as our grandson and enter the Skywalker family. I also checked his DNA from his information stored in the Hunter Association. Even though he looks like Aeron, he is not his son."
Everyone's expression changed when they heard what Devis said. They all looked at Draven in unison.
Draven struggled to get up from the floor and said in a shaky voice, "I truly don't know what you are talking about."
"Still acting? If you are Draven Skywalker, then tell me, do you remember any of us?" Magnus asked calmly.
Draven shook his head. "I don't have memories of most of my childhood. Ever since I can remember, I was living in the 36th Stronghold along with my mother Lira. I don't know anything else."
"Oh? If you do not remember anything, how do you know your name is Draven Skywalker?" Magnus asked again.
Draven remained silent; he had no answer for this question as he was not sure himself.
"You guys must have made a mistake. According to our investigation, the child's soul received an injury resulting in a permanent memory loss. Let us test his DNA once more before we arrive at any conclusion," Elara also defended Draven.
But Devis shook his head. "There is no need for that. When we first arrived at the 36th Stronghold, we spotted a high-ranking member of the True Demon Cult and captured him. That guy already spilled out all the truth."
Magnus stomped his foot lightly, and from his shadow, a man in black appeared like black smoke with a tightly bound old man in his hands.
"You do recognize him, right?" Magnus asked.
Draven nodded. "He is the black market merchant from whom I usually bought cultivation techniques."
"So you also admit you cultivated the Ultimate Demon Body Forging Art?" Magnus asked again.
Draven nodded. "Yes, but..."
Devis waved his hand, interrupting Draven. "That is all we have to know. Now spill out all that you know about the True Demon Guild."
Draven's expression hardened, and he gritted his teeth in anger. "I already told you, I don't know anyone or anything related to any True Demon Cult. The only thing I know is that my name is Draven Skywalker, and that little girl standing behind you is my little sister."
