The main field was stacked with multitudes of students coming from different sections. But compared to the last time the students were all summoned, the numbers were merely half the size. This was due to the fact that a large percentage of the students were not willing to participate in the dimensional expedition.
Only the strong hearted were willing to get involved, because the beasts located in the dimension were not in any way friendly. Every year, several reports of students dying from beast attacks always circulated, and no matter how hard the academy's authorities tried to cover up the reports, the news always found its way to spread everywhere.
As a result of this, less and less students were willing to participate in any beast involving event, especially the low level mages. The beasts located in different dimensions have been categorized according to their strengths.
Regular beasts
Evolved beasts
Dark beasts
Godly beasts
Divine beasts
Regular beasts are the weakest of all beasts, not having any special affinity of sorts, only possessing their raw strengths. Evolved beasts are the enhanced version of regular beasts, possessing more strength, speed, reaction, and senses.
The considerable factor that differentiated an evolved beast from a regular beast was their ability to control mana to an extent. Over time, some intelligent species of regular beasts mastered the art of controlling mana, giving them the ability to possess magical traits. They were in turn, classified as evolved beasts.
When it seemed like humanity wasn't going to find any beast stronger than an evolved beast, they discovered even more beasts that not only had the ability to wield magic, the beasts could produce direct magical attacks. The attacks from these beasts were fatal enough to cease the existence of a human. In turn, these beasts were called the dark beasts.
Following the discovery of the dark beasts, two more classes of stronger and more powerful beasts that could wield multiple magical affinities were also discovered, and the strongest type of beasts discovered by humans were called the divine beasts.
In the history of human existence, only one divine beast had ever been defeated, and it took two mages at the divine magus level to defeat the beast.
The crystal harvested from the divine beast was used to create a sword, and it was given to the grand commander of the military. Followed by that event, finding another divine beast proved difficult.
The dimension that the students of FAM were going to travel to, only consisted of regular and evolved beasts. The dimension was specifically chosen to reduce the risk of fatality among the students.
Chuck was ready to move out when he opened up his quest tab.

"It seems like Erik and Kaiden will have a fine time torturing me again," Chuck thought.
He rounded up everything he was doing. Mentally preparing himself for the crowd he would see at the main field, Chuck left his room and headed down the hallway.
Chuck kept his head down while heading to the main field, not wanting anyone to notice him. The heat from his fight with Bobby was still intense, making him seem like a local celebrity in the academy.
He skimmed through the students, hoping to reach the main hall without any trouble of sorts.
"Hey isn't that the guy that beat the shit out of Bobby?" A student said, noticing Chuck moving at a fast pace.
"Stop exaggerating it. He didn't beat the shit out of Bobby. He only managed to catch him off guard, knocking him out in the process," another replied.
"Yeah but I heard he isn't supposed to possess any magical trait."
"Well apparently, he does. Now unless you want to challenge him, we better head to the main hall. I wanna kill some beasts."
Chuck moved progressively fast, facing no problem whatsoever until he saw a figure stop right in front of him. Chuck raised his head, as he was already starting to feel uneasy. He saw a student with a grim look on his face, like someone who was birthed with a sole purpose of causing nuisance.
"Hey Nectar, I saw your fight with Bobby, and I wish to challenge you! If I defeat you, it'll prove that I am stronger than Bobby," the student said with a proud tone.
"Really," Chuck sighed, almost facepalming, "aren't you a little old for this? I'm just tryna head over to the main field in peace, I don't have time for this."
"The fact that you think you have a choice is quite amusing, Nectar," the student said, advancing closer to Chuck as he was about to form an attack.
But before he could get close enough, a menacing voice was heard coming from behind Chuck's being.
"Actually, he does have a choice. And you're not going anywhere near him," Erik said as he proceeded to stand beside Chuck, "You weren't in your room, Chuck, so I figured you were already in the main field."
The moment Chuck saw Erik, a huge sense of relief washed over his body.
"Yeah I wanted to get there early so I could avoid people like, well, this motherfucker," Chuck said, pointing to the student.
The student saw Erik standing beside Chuck with confidence. He knew that there was no way he could take on Chuck if Erik decided to get involved.
"Alright, Nectar, I see you. So you've got yourself a body guard? This is not over, and Erik, you just got blacklisted," the student said, backing away slowly till he was out of sight.
Chuck felt lucky for having Erik arrive at the right time before things could escalate, "You know what, I think it would be great if we headed over to the girl's dorm building. For all we know, Kaiden might still be there."
"Ohh she'd definitely be there," Erik chuckled, " it takes women forever to get ready."

Bobby sat in silence as the waft of sterilized equipment seeped through his nose. Sitting on the soft bed of the infirmary, he stared down at the polished marbled floor that reflected the light ever so perfectly.
He thought back to the fight between him and Chuck, and the humiliating defeat he suffered.
"Arrrggghhh!!!"
Bobby yelled in anger as he took a syringe beside him, throwing it at the wall close to him, shattering it instantly.
"You know, if you go on like this, you might as well burn down the whole clinic to the ground."
Bobby heard a voice coming from the entrance of the room. He turned around to see a face he didn't like in any way.
"What the fuck is the combat training teacher doing in the infirmary? Don't tell me you got bested by one of your students, and now you need medical attention, teacher Zhul," Bobby said with an annoyed look.
"And what the… fuck, are you still doing in the clinic? You're perfectly fine, but you choose to remain here," Zhul chucked, are you scared to step out into the public, thinking that they will taunt you after your great defeat?"
Bobby stayed silent, not giving any remark to Zhul's comment.
"Well it's a good thing I have a way for you to get what you want," Zhul said with a grin.
"And what is that?" Bobby replied.
"To kill Chuck Nectar of course," Zhul's grin got wider
"And I'm going to help you do it."
