Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 – The Power of Blood and Qi, Possessing Qian Renxue

Chapter 46 – The Power of Blood and Qi, Possessing Qian Renxue

For the past two years, every morning, Qi Tian would exhaust his body through relentless physical training before soaking himself in a medicinal bath to recover.

He had no other choice. This was the only "foolish" method he knew to temper his physique and accelerate the growth of his physical talent.

After finishing his daily body training, he would head deep into the distant forest to cultivate his Blue Silver King Martial Soul—day after day, without fail, for two whole years.

Today was no exception. After studying his second martial soul for a while, Qi Tian began his physical exercises.

In the small courtyard, Qi Tian lifted a heavy iron chain, beginning his strength training.

"Hmm… it feels much lighter than yesterday. No—my strength has increased again!"

Today, after awakening his Body Martial Soul, he could command his physical strength with far greater precision. The three-thousand-jin iron chain now felt noticeably lighter in his grasp.

"Body Martial Soul, huh?"

Qi Tian murmured as he lifted the chain. His martial soul enveloped him as he carefully sensed every subtle change within his muscles.

Suddenly, a peculiar force began flowing through his body—steady and ceaseless.

"What's this? It doesn't feel like soul power… more like a tangible form of my physical strength?"

He focused intently, sensing the flow of this new energy. It moved in sync with the direction of his exertion.

"A True Dragon Physique, with qi and blood like a dragon… Could this be the Power of Blood and Qi?"

"If this energy grows to its peak… could that be when the young dragon matures and soars to the heavens?" Qi Tian speculated.

"Yes, that must be it. My body has been strengthened—not truly transformed into a dragon, but infused with this power of qi and blood."

Previously, he couldn't sense it at all. Only after awakening his Body Martial Soul could he perceive it clearly.

"Let's see if I can control it."

Using his Body Martial Soul, Qi Tian guided this blood energy to flow throughout his body. Wherever it passed, a warm sensation followed, enhancing his strength and nourishing his body.

"What if I circulate it along the path of the Mysterious Heaven Skill?" he wondered, attempting to guide the energy through the same route as his internal cultivation method.

"No… that's not right. This energy isn't meant to travel through the meridians like soul power—it should temper the muscles and bones instead!"

Qi Tian realized that the Power of Blood and Qi operated entirely differently from soul power. It was meant to refine the flesh, not the meridians.

The stronger the body, the more vigorous the blood energy; and the more blood energy there is, the more it can temper the body—a perfect cycle of reinforcement.

And the key connecting the two… was his Body Martial Soul.

"At last… I can see the hope of forging a divine physique!" Qi Tian thought with joy.

Like a child discovering a new toy, he eagerly began experimenting, reforging his body through this newfound power.

Even when he overdid it and injured himself slightly, he could use the Blue Silver King Martial Soul and the Mysterious Heaven Skill to heal his internal injuries.

And because his Body Martial Soul allowed full control over his body, not even the faintest hidden injury remained.

After a long session, he finally felt drained and made his way to the bathhouse, sinking into a tub filled with a specially prepared medicinal solution.

The formula for this secret potion had been obtained by Bibi Dong from Yu Xiaogang. It was especially effective for physical recovery.

"The iron chain is too light now… I'll need to forge a new one to match my current strength."

"If only I had a gravity domain—then things would be much easier," Qi Tian mused.

The Gravity Domain was the innate ability of the Titan Giant Ape race. Once activated, gravity in the area would multiply severalfold—weaklings could be crushed outright.

"The Titan Giant Ape's soul ring would be a perfect fit for my Body Martial Soul," he thought wistfully.

Of course, it was just a thought. With his current strength, there was no way he could challenge such a creature.

After finishing his bath, Qi Tian visited the Spirit Hall in Silves City to update his Martial Soul record and collect his Gold Soul Coin allowance.

A nine-year-old Soul Grandmaster at level twenty-two was a rarity across the entire Douluo Continent.

The staff member at the Spirit Hall casually tried to recruit him, but Qi Tian politely declined, and they didn't press the issue.

"The Spirit Hall is still too slow to react," Qi Tian thought to himself.

Perhaps it was because the Spirit Hall's foundation was vast and deep—they had seen too many so-called geniuses come and go.

Even talents like Tang San and Xiao Wu were ignored until the Soul Master Tournament. Qi Tian, too, had slipped under their radar for now.

"That's actually a good thing," he mused.

He had no intention of drawing the Spirit Hall's attention too early.

After collecting his Gold Soul Coin allowance, Qi Tian once again made his way to the forest to cultivate his Blue Silver King Martial Soul.

When night fell, he returned to the city and headed straight for the Great Soul Arena—to gain combat experience and, at the same time, earn some spending money.

Ever since breaking through to the Soul Grandmaster realm, Qi Tian no longer struggled to find suitable opponents.

Thanks to his ability to disguise and transform, he could participate in arena battles under different identities. While fighting, he also bet on himself using Gold Soul Coins—and the profits came quickly.

Just two matches a day were enough to earn him several hundred coins.

---

Late at night, Qi Tian walked out of the Great Soul Arena, his day fulfilled and satisfying.

To save time, he had rented a small courtyard within the city. That way, he wouldn't waste hours traveling back and forth between the city and the outskirts.

After a brief wash, Qi Tian lay down to rest. As sleep slowly took him, a faint, familiar chime echoed in the depths of his consciousness.

Ding—!

Spirit City, Spirit Hall Mountain – Year 2631 of the Douluo Calendar

Midnight.

Outside the grand Worship Hall, a golden-haired girl knelt on the stone steps, bowing reverently several times before the door.

"Grandfather," she whispered, "please take care of your health. This time, I will surely conquer the Heaven Dou Empire and prove myself worthy as the true successor of the Angel God!"

"The position of Pope… I'll also reclaim it from my sister!"

Her words were firm and resolute. After finishing her prayers, the golden-haired girl rose gracefully, took her guards, and descended the mountain—departing from Spirit City under the moonlight.

Inside the Worship Hall, two youthful-looking men sat opposite each other. They were none other than the Grand Worship, Qian Daoliu, and the Third Worship, both elders of the Spirit Hall.

"Elder Brother," the third Worship sighed, "are you really at ease letting Xue'er travel so far alone? She's only nine years old!"

Qian Daoliu's face remained impassive.

"This was her own choice. I will not interfere."

"Ah…" The third Worship sighed again. "You might not feel distressed, but I do! Why didn't you let me go as her escort?"

He muttered resentfully, "And that child, too… She only said goodbye to you, her grandfather, and didn't even come to see me, her uncle! Do I mean nothing to her?"

He felt rather bitter. Despite all the care and affection he had shown her, she had only bid farewell to Qian Daoliu and ignored him completely.

"Could it be… that she still resents her mother, and by extension, dislikes me as well?" he murmured with a frown.

Qian Daoliu shook his head slowly. "No, Xue'er isn't like that. She probably didn't want you to stop her from leaving Spirit City."

"Haah… I hope that's the case," the third consecrator sighed helplessly.

On the main road leading from Spirit City to Heaven Dou City, a beast-drawn carriage raced through the night.

At first glance, it looked ordinary—but inside, it was anything but.

The wheels were fitted with a unique shock-absorbing mechanism, and faint, intricate runes glowed along the carriage walls. To those familiar with ancient relics, it was clear—this was a Soul Tool in disguise.

Inside the carriage, the golden-haired girl slept lightly, her delicate face peaceful and flawless. Her features were exquisitely refined, her fair skin glowing faintly in the moonlight.

Everything about her seemed sculpted by the hands of a god.

When she matured, few in the world would be able to rival her beauty.

Suddenly, her eyelashes fluttered, and her eyes slowly opened.

"Huh...? Where am I?" she murmured, confusion flickering in her gaze.

"Whose body… have I possessed this time?"

She placed her hand on her chest, quietly inspecting her unfamiliar body as realization began to dawn.
