Chapter 47 – Telling a Story to Qian Renxue
There was no familiar softness—no voluptuous curves to speak of.
Only… a pair of small, firm buns.
It was immediately clear—this wasn't Bibi Dong's body, nor was it Liu Erlong's.
Qi Tian glanced around and noticed a mirror inside the carriage. Climbing out of bed, he approached the vanity and looked at his reflection.
What he saw made him blink in surprise.
Golden hair cascaded down like silk, framing a delicate, snow-white face. Her nose was high and straight, her phoenix eyes long and narrow, exuding a cold elegance despite her youth. She looked about eleven or twelve years old—a breathtakingly beautiful little girl.
"What a pretty little thing… Why does she look so familiar?" Qi Tian muttered inwardly.
Just then, a clear and crisp loli voice, tinged with a trace of authority, echoed in his mind.
"Who are you? Why are you inside my body?"
Qi Tian chuckled. "Finally willing to talk to me, are you?"
In truth, he had already noticed the soul of this body stirring earlier. She had been silent, lying dormant all this time, and only now did she decide to speak.
"Are you… a ghost? Like Ghost Uncle—the Ghost Douluo?" the little voice asked cautiously.
Qi Tian thought for a moment, then replied with amusement, "You could say that, yes. A ghost, of sorts. What about you, little one? Who are you?"
The girl fell silent again. Qi Tian, unbothered, focused on sensing the martial soul within this body.
A faint radiance of divine purity emerged—a sacred, six-winged light.
Qi Tian raised an eyebrow. "You don't have to tell me. I already know. A Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul… You must be from the Qian Clan of the Spirit Hall, right?"
He grinned. "Ghost Uncle, you said? That must mean your father is the Pope, Qian Xunji. So… you're Qian Renxue, aren't you?"
At that, the girl's voice echoed again, sharp and wary.
"Who are you? How do you know my name?"
As the heir to the Angel God, Qian Renxue had been raised in strict secrecy since birth.
Bibi Dong was the "Saintess" shown to the public—merely a decoy to divert attention. Qian Renxue was the true Saintess of the Spirit Hall, nurtured in the shadows.
Qi Tian's eyes lit up in realization. "So it really is her."
No wonder he had found the girl's face somewhat familiar. Now that he thought about it, she carried traces of both her parents' features—yet her beauty surpassed them both, as if the finest parts of each had been merged and perfected.
"Qian Renxue, tell me something," Qi Tian asked curiously. "What is your relationship with Bibi Dong?"
He truly wanted to know—was Bibi Dong her mother, or her senior sister?
If she were the latter, then perhaps this world shared a direct link with the one where he had once possessed Bibi Dong.
"You know my sister?" Qian Renxue's tone softened slightly, as if relieved.
Qi Tian blinked. "So she's your sister, huh? Then your grandfather must be the Third Worship of the Spirit Hall, right?"
"Correct," Qian Renxue replied coldly. "Since you know my grandfather is a Worship of the Spirit Hall, you should leave at once. If you're discovered, the Angel God will cast divine judgment upon you and erase your soul!"
Qi Tian couldn't help but laugh aloud.
He had possessed Bibi Dong for years—even stood face-to-face with Qian Daoliu himself—yet no divine judgment had ever come for him. Did this little girl really think she could scare him with that?
Just then, the familiar chime of his system sounded in his mind.
[Current Mission: Change Qian Renxue's destiny and help her become a true angel!]
[Stage Reward: Borrowed Cultivation – You may cultivate using Qian Renxue's body, and all soul power gained will be reflected to your true body.]
[Final Reward: Divine Artifact! The higher the mission completion, the greater the quality of the artifact.]
[Mission Description: A true angel must possess humility, justice, courage, perseverance, and unwavering resolve. Please nurture her with sincerity.]
"...A divine artifact?" Qi Tian froze for a moment. "Already?"
For any Soul Master below Rank 100, a divine artifact meant absolute dominance.
Even Tang San, with his Sea God Trident, could challenge top-tier Titled Douluo like Bibi Dong with nothing but his Soul Douluo-level strength.
Qi Tian took a deep breath, calming his racing heart.
"Maybe I shouldn't get too excited just yet," he muttered. "No matter what kind of artifact it is, with my current power, I probably couldn't even activate it."
Of course, divine artifacts couldn't be wielded so easily.
They required divine affinity—a resonance with the god to whom the artifact belonged. Without it, even a powerhouse would struggle to draw out a fraction of its power.
Just like Bo Saixi—even at Rank 99, as an Ultimate Douluo, she had to exert her full strength merely to lift the Sea God Trident.
As for Qi Tian? He possessed no divine affinity at all. Even if a divine artifact fell into his lap, he wouldn't be able to use it.
"Forget it," Qi Tian sighed inwardly. "I should take things as they come."
The system's rewards always followed the same rule: the greater the effort, the greater the return. The divine artifact would likely be no exception.
"Why are you laughing?"
Qian Renxue's crisp, slightly imperious loli voice rang out in his mind again.
Qi Tian shook his head, smiling faintly. "Nothing. I just remembered something amusing."
"You asked who I am, right? Well… you could say I'm a wandering soul from another world—a ghost who's temporarily attached himself to your body."
"Don't worry. I mean you no harm. By tomorrow, you'll be able to move freely again."
Qian Renxue's curiosity immediately sparked.
"Another world? You mean… one like the Douluo Continent?"
Qi Tian chuckled, half serious, half teasing. "Not at all. My world doesn't have Soul Masters."
"No Soul Masters?" she repeated in disbelief. "How can I believe you? If you're really from another world, how do you know my sister?"
Qi Tian smirked. "Because I've seen her, of course. I might be a ghost, but that doesn't mean I'm blind."
"As for proof of my world's existence… why don't I tell you a story from there? In return, you'll tell me one of your own. Deal?"
Qian Renxue considered for a moment before replying, "That's fair. I agree."
Qi Tian nodded slightly, thinking of a tale that might teach her something—perhaps a warning against arrogance.
He decided to tell her the story of Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, two men who fought for control of an empire.
After all, in the future, Qian Renxue's pride would become her downfall. Even after becoming a god, she had spared Tang San, allowing him to flee and achieve godhood himself. Though she later defeated him, Tang San's dual godhood enabled him to resurrect and return—eventually turning the tide against her.
Qi Tian began softly, his tone calm yet compelling.
"Once upon a time, the King of Qin unified the six warring states and proclaimed himself the First Emperor. He toured the lands, suppressing the remnants of rebellion.
"When Liu Bang saw the Emperor's magnificent procession, he wasn't cowed. Instead, he boldly declared: 'A true man should be like him!'"
He continued, weaving the grand saga of Qin's fall, of Liu Bang's cunning rise and Xiang Yu's tragic downfall.
Qian Renxue listened quietly, her attention wholly captured by the tale.
To her, the Qin Emperor's ambition was eerily similar to the Spirit Hall's current vision—to unite Heaven Dou Empire and Star Luo Empire, and establish a single, glorious Spirit Empire.
When Qi Tian reached the part where Xiang Yu released Liu Bang into Shu, only for Liu Bang to return and seize the empire, he paused.
"Xue'er," Qi Tian asked softly, "what do you think of this story?"
Qian Renxue thought for a moment before answering:
"The Overlord was fierce and arrogant… the Han King was shameless."
Qi Tian sighed, exasperated. "Ah… you missed the point entirely."
"What I wanted to say was—'When the enemy is broken, pursue to the end. Do not spare the wicked for the sake of false honor.'"
He looked out through the carriage window, voice turning solemn.
"If you ever face such an opponent in the future, don't make the same mistake. Don't let pride blind you. Crush evil completely—cut the grass and root alike."
He truly didn't wish for Qian Renxue to repeat her tragic destiny—dying not because she was weak, but because she was too proud.
"Hmph. A defeated foe will always remain a defeated foe," she retorted confidently.
"Even if I spared them and gave them a fair chance, they'd never surpass me!"
Qi Tian could only rub his forehead helplessly. "Great… all that storytelling for nothing."
Still, he didn't expect to change her overnight. He'd take it one step at a time—educating her slowly until she learned that there's always someone stronger beyond the sky.
"Alright then," he said with a faint smile. "Your turn. Let's hear your story."
