Chapter 17 - OPRK Chapter 17: A Ship Christened, A Celestial Snare

Noro's days were carefree and comfortable, drinking with Kaido at the tavern during the day, and Stussy warming his bed at night.

Under the subtle influence of the venom, Stussy had grown closer and closer to him, eventually moving in with him.

But her money-loving nature remained unchanged. After receiving Noro's permission to spend money however she wanted,

Stussy roamed Water 7, a happy smile on her face.

Buying! Buying! Buying!

What a heavenly life this was!!!

Having money to spend, and being able to spend it however she wanted.

She wanted to stay in the Beasts Pirates forever.

King still didn't like going out, staying on the pirate ship. As the last of the Lunarian race, he was used to it.

Queen also didn't like going out. Research equipment was delivered one after another, and he focused on his research on the pirate ship.

Occasionally, Kaido would call everyone to the shipyard to check on the pirate ship's progress.

Time passed, and a month flew by. Their pirate ship was finally finished!

On the way to the shipyard, Kaido's steps were lighter, and even others could feel his joy and excitement.

Stussy, smiling, linked her arm with Noro's, walking behind. Noro glanced at her, his expression disgusted.

"Can you not be so extravagant?"

Stussy's ten fingers were covered in rings, the gemstones on the rings as big as pigeon eggs.

The necklace around her neck and the earrings on her ears were also extremely extravagant.

Just one word: rich!

He was already young, and with Stussy like this, he looked like a kept boy.

Stussy pouted, retorting unconvinced, "What do you know? This is fashion!"

Noro rolled his eyes, annoyed, "Fashion my ass. Take it all off. If you wear such extravagant jewelry again, don't touch me."

With that, Noro shook off Stussy's hand, walking ahead on his own, leaving her in the wind.

It wasn't that Noro was being difficult. Stussy, after being thoroughly explored by him, had a strong addiction!

Stussy's pretty face flushed with anger, cursing, "Bastard!"

She'd thought Noro would threaten to take away her spending money, but she'd never thought he'd say she couldn't touch him.

How could a man say such a thing? Did he have no shame?

Cursing, Stussy obediently took off the rings and put them in her bag, then quickly ran up, forcing a smile, linking her arm with Noro's again.

She had to admit, Noro had her by the short hairs again.

She'd really developed a taste for him this past month.

The 500-meter-long pirate ship, such a behemoth, could be seen from afar.

The figurehead was a majestic Azure Dragon head, almost identical to Kaido's dragon form.

The dragon's mouth could open, with cannons specially made by Queen inside.

Below the dragon head, the bow and the entire hull were carved with layers of dragon scales.

The ship's main color was cyan-blue, the deck was wide and flat, the sides of the hull were covered with cannons, and the Beasts Pirates' skull flag fluttered on the mast.

Kaido couldn't wait to jump onto the ship, excitedly looking around.

Noro and Stussy followed closely behind. The ship had a kitchen, food storage room, library, gym, armory, and all sorts of other rooms.

The rooms for Kaido, Noro, King, Queen, and Stussy were all specially customized according to their own requirements, a perk of starting a business.

In addition, Queen had his own research lab, and Noro had also ordered some rooms designed for giants and Kaido's height, just in case.

Kaido was increasingly satisfied, his smile never fading. Finally, he came to the bow, stroking the dragon head carving, laughing heartily, "Worororororo... This is worthy of my Beasts Pirates!"

Noro also smiled, "Then, Captain, what should we name this pirate ship?"

Kaido rubbed his chin, thinking hard.

Naming things wasn't his forte. Even the pirate crew had been named by Noro.

But he couldn't always let Noro name things. He was the captain, after all.

Looking at the cyan dragon head, Kaido suddenly had an inspiration, "Let's call it the 'Azure Dragon'!"

""Azure Dragon"?" Noro murmured, thinking the name was pretty good.

Simple and domineering!

Tsk, tsk, Kaido was using his brain.

Kaido didn't need the shipyard workers to help. He used his Flame Clouds to lift the "Azure Dragon," flying towards the pirate ship docked at the port.

King and Queen moved the things from the original pirate ship to the "Azure Dragon."

The wealthy Kaido didn't want these things anymore. Except for Queen's research equipment, they didn't need to move anything else.

Buy new things! They had money!

Leaving King to help Queen move the research equipment, Kaido and Noro's group went to buy supplies.

They bought too many things, Kaido acting like he wanted to fill the ship to the brim.

Noro didn't mind. The ship was big anyway, it was better to be prepared.

The merchants, happy to have such a big customer, happily delivered the goods to the ship.

After a busy day, they finally bought all the necessary supplies.

The "Azure Dragon" set sail!

Kaido sat at the huge dragon head, holding his sake gourd, taking a sip from time to time, his face beaming.

He finally had his own pirate crew and pirate ship.

On the deck, Noro wore sunglasses, lying comfortably on a beach chair.

Stussy massaged Noro's shoulders from behind, occasionally using a toothpick to pick up a piece of cut fruit, feeding it to Noro's mouth.

Queen was at the helm, steering the ship according to Noro's instructions.

They were going to Mock Town, to move as much gold as possible, then to the New World.

King wasn't on the deck, he was in the crow's nest, observing the sea.

Kaido looked around, suddenly realizing that their ship was so big, but they had so few people.

So he shouted to Noro, "Noro, shouldn't we recruit some crew members? There are too few of us."

Noro chewed and swallowed the fruit Stussy had fed him, smiling as he replied:

"Yeah, I know. We'll recruit some crew members when we get to the New World."

How could Noro not have thought about this? He needed a lot of people to invade Wano Country.

It was just that he didn't want to cause any trouble in Water 7 during the shipbuilding, and the quality of people in Water 7 was too low. It was better to recruit in the New World.

Although the upper limit of pirates and people in the New World might not be as high as in the Four Seas and the first half of the Grand Line, their lower limit was much higher.

Hearing that his vice-captain already had a plan, Kaido didn't say anything more, continuing to drink his sake.

At this moment, King flew to the deck from the crow's nest, his expression grave, his voice heavy, "Mr. Kaido, Mr. Noro, we've spotted World Government warships ahead, and..."

"A Celestial Dragon's ship!"
