Chapter 30 - The White-Robed Immortal Descends

Shaowu recalled a passage from a modern history book he had once read. It described the aggressive actions of Country E a hundred years ago—how, when Huaxia was weak, the E-army burned, killed, and looted without restraint, committing countless atrocities.

His second sister had been taken away by "espers"… but what exactly were espers?

He stroked his chin thoughtfully and asked Shaolu.Shaolu pointed at several figures in the distance—locked in fierce combat against the four Grandmasters—and briefly explained.

With that, Shaowu finally understood the general situation. If anyone knew his sister's whereabouts, it would be those espers.

Since he had already changed his appearance, there was no longer any reason to hide his strength.

He bolted toward the four figures at astonishing speed.

Just as he took a few steps—

Boom!

A shell screamed through the air.

"Danger! Get down!" Shaolu cried.

Swish!

A golden sword light flashed, slicing the shell cleanly in half just a meter away from them.

"Damn…" Shaolu muttered, stunned. Was this mysterious young man a deity?Did he… did he just get saved by an immortal?

The battlefield was a nightmare—chaotic and blood-soaked.Wounded soldiers screamed, and the ground was strewn with severed limbs and bodies.

The sight made Shaowu's head spin.Although he had killed bad people before, he had never seen such gruesome carnage.

He forcibly suppressed the nausea twisting his stomach. He had to keep going. He had to save his sister.

Determination sharpened his gaze.

A small black dog poked its head out of his robe, scanning the surroundings. Shiai Hei finally realized the problem—everyone else wore military uniforms. Meanwhile, his little master's flowing white robe was practically glowing on the battlefield.

High above, on the command platform, Sher Uaha and several top officials observed the battlefield carefully.

"Who is that young man in the white robe? Why isn't he wearing a military uniform?"

Master Phuen, who had been silent until now, suddenly pointed northeast.

Everyone's attention shifted instantly.

Shaowu continued forward, blocking bullets with spiritual energy while watching the four espers in the distance—completely unaware that a massive group of people was now focused on his figure.

Ahead, three enemy tanks rumbled forward, unaware that a white-robed youth was sprinting straight at them.

Just as the steel monsters were about to flatten him—

He moved.

"Sword—come."

A dark-golden flying sword materialized in his grasp. With a light step, Shaowu soared tens of meters into the air. His robe billowed in the wind, black hair streaming behind him like a cascading waterfall.

With a gentle wave of his jade-like hand, a crane-shaped sword energy condensed and slashed downward.

BOOM!

Under the stunned eyes of hundreds of soldiers, the three tanks were cut cleanly in half.

"What—!?"The observers on the high platform shouted in unison.

Sher Uaha stared at the white-robed figure, stunned.Everything felt surreal.

Landing lightly, Shaowu resumed his sprint.

In the sky above, two enemy fighter jets spotted the lone figure and immediately opened fire.

Bullets rained down—but every single one was blocked effortlessly by his spiritual power shield.

Shaowu glared up impatiently.

"You pests… watch me bring you down."

The Golden Crow sword detached from his side and shot into the sky with terrifying speed.

BANG! BANG!

Both fighter jets exploded mid-air, debris raining down like metallic confetti.

"D-damn…"Everyone on the command platform stared at one another, speechless.

"Is this the master sent by your Martial Arts Association?"Feng Shatan asked, still dazed.

But Phuen could only shake his head—his expression full of disbelief.
