Chapter 31 - The White-Robed Savior

"I don't know… I haven't seen this person among the Masters before."

Everyone on the battlefield could no longer remain calm.Who was this mysterious figure who had suddenly appeared—destroying tanks with a single sword and bringing down armed fighter jets?

A martial arts master.

The words echoed in their minds like thunder. The soldiers gasped in disbelief and instinctively looked toward the figure dressed in white. The pressure he exuded was nothing short of overwhelming.

F. Shakan frowned in confusion."What does he want to do?"

"I'm afraid things aren't that simple," another muttered.

In the center of the battlefield, the Four Grandmasters and the Four Superhumans were locked in a fierce life-and-death struggle.Around them, a wide vacant area had formed—no soldier dared step near.

Guns, cannons, and missiles were completely useless against beings of this caliber.Everyone stayed far away from the eight monsters clashing in the middle of the warzone.

La Mo fought the superhumans in brutal close combat. The two Grandmasters quickly moved to support Bruce and Austin, but the enemy was cunning—maintaining distance and launching relentless long-range attacks.

Their strengths were equal.Their killing intent unmatched.Every strike aimed for vital points, every movement lethal.

If a Grandmaster could close the distance, they would easily overpower a superhuman. But the enemy refused to let that happen.

On the other side, Arthur battled an intermediate-level Grandmaster.Every punch Arthur threw ignited scorching flames, forcing the old man back. His beard and hair were already singed black.

"Tch…" The old man gritted his teeth.This young man—he wasn't a normal S-Class superhuman.His aura… it was close to that of a late-stage Grandmaster.

"Damn brat…" he cursed and rushed forward again, attempting to force close combat.

Arthur sneered.

Raising his hands above his head, a majestic fiery glow erupted. Flames gathered rapidly, condensing into a massive fireball radiating terrifying heat.

"Old man, I'm done playing with you," Arthur growled."Now—embrace death."

The old man's eyes widened in horror. He hadn't expected Arthur to have such a trump card.

Arthur hurled the giant fireball. It shone like a miniature sun, lighting the battlefield with blinding radiance.

Countless soldiers trembled. The heat was suffocating—even from afar.

Realizing he couldn't dodge it, the old man retreated wildly. But the fireball seemed alive, chasing him relentlessly.

With no choice left, the old man raised his arms to protect his face.

BOOM!

A deafening explosion shook the entire battlefield.Smoke surged up in thick waves.

The morale of the HHA forces wavered.Their hearts filled with doubt.

"Is that man… a devil?""Do we… even have a chance of winning…?"

The fear spread like wildfire.Enemy attacks grew fiercer, and the tide of battle shifted toward the E-Country Army.

Amid the smoke, the old man slowly lowered his arms.

"I… I'm not dead?"

When the smoke parted, he saw a young man in white standing in front of him, back turned, protecting him from the blast. From the glimpse of his profile, he could imagine the man's handsome features.

Did he… save me?

Arthur's mocking expression froze. The old man was alive—And another young man had appeared out of nowhere.

A cold voice spoke.

"Hey. Where is General Sher?"

The youth—Shiao—stepped forward, gaze icy, speaking fluent English.

Arthur bared his teeth in a twisted grin and lowered his voice.

"Waga people… your general has already undergone all eighteen tortures, and—"
