Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 Everything about Pelican Town

"Have you bought the seeds?"

Robin asked with a hint of amusement.

She saw the girl who had been so close just moments ago now seemed a bit awkward.

However, she only gave them a few amused glances before continuing to lead the way for them, introducing the purpose of the buildings here.

This was a task Lord had assigned to them.

Lord had given them a place to live, and such a wonderful place at that, for which they were already deeply grateful.

What surprised them most was that the task Lord assigned to them was also incredibly simple.

It was merely to "act"!

This task couldn't be any easier.

For her, it was even quite interesting.

Moreover, Lord had generously granted her building skills, which made her even more willing to work for Lord.

She was willing to dedicate her entire life to Lord!

Next, Robin led Eira and Nisha to see other parts of Pelican Town.

"This is the Blacksmith, where you can forge some equipment from the ores you obtain, and also upgrade your farming tools..."

"This is the Library, where you might find magical skill books..."

"And here, this is the Saloon, a place for everyone to relax and have fun. If you have a lot of free time, you can come here to play..."

"This is the Community Center, it has amazing uses, you can explore it when you have time..."

"..."

Along the way, Robin acted like a tour guide, explaining the entire layout of Pelican Town in detail to the two girls.

This also allowed them to understand the new changes in this Dungeon.

Just being led around, without entering these buildings, already filled Nisha and Eira with immense wonder.

This town that appeared in this Dungeon was a bit too complete!

Every building was not randomly placed; each had a different function.

What surprised them most was that the functions of these buildings were entirely set up to serve them as Adventurers.

This was the most pleasant surprise for them.

Before, in other Dungeons, where were Adventurers like them ever treated this way?

It was good enough if they weren't schemed against; how would anyone consider them?

In the past, it would have been a pipe dream.

But now, the reality was right before their eyes!

There really was a good Lord!

There was a Lord who considered Adventurers like them!

Thinking of this, Nisha and Eira paid even closer attention to Robin's explanations.

They had to firmly remember everything here!

In the future, they could freely roam Pelican Town based on their own memories.

They were growing to like this Dungeon more and more.

"Alright, the introduction to Pelican Town is pretty much done. Do you need any services? I see there are two of you, and your farm house seems to only accommodate one person. Would you like to pay me to help you upgrade it?"

Robin led the two around the town and returned to the entrance where they first entered Pelican Town.

Then, she looked at the two and asked.

They were now one of the service personnel in the town, and naturally, they had to assist Adventurers, their guests, well.

Although Lord had already stated that this task would be quite simple.

Just building some things.

But she also had to complete it conscientiously; this was her job, and she couldn't be perfunctory about it.

She had to be worthy of Lord's trust.

Worthy of Lord's grace in giving them a new life.

"Sister Robin, do you also provide such services here?"

Nisha asked curiously; this was something neither she nor Eira had thought of.

"Yes, my job is to help build things in town. Do you need it?"

Robin nodded, a gentle smile on her face, and looked down at the two girls as she asked.

Upon hearing this, Nisha and Eira exchanged glances.

Nisha then spoke to ask Eira for her opinion.

"There's only one bed in that house, we'd have to squeeze together..."

"We need to expand the house!"

But before Nisha could finish, Eira spoke first.

Her attitude seemed resolute, and her face looked a little flushed.

"Okay, expanding the house requires payment of 10,000g and 450 wood. Is that acceptable?"

Robin nodded, smiling.

"10,000g!"

Hearing the cost, Nisha gasped in surprise.

So expensive!

And Eira's eyes widened at the same time.

She never expected it to be so expensive.

So, the two hesitated. 10,000g was not a small sum for them right now.

They also needed to prepare 450 wood, and it seemed there wasn't that much wood on the farm.

"How about it? If you don't need it now, you can come find me next time you do. My place is behind the Community Center."

Robin saw their financial embarrassment and spoke up.

"Sorry, Sister Robin," Nisha whispered.

"It's okay. Well then, we'll see each other next time."

Robin still wore a warm smile, waving goodbye to the two.

Seeing this, Robin turned and walked towards the Community Center in the center of the town.

And Nisha and Eira also looked at each other, "Then we'll have to squeeze together tonight!"

Nisha said this quite excitedly.

But Eira's face was ashen.

The reason she was so resistant to sleeping with Nisha was that Nisha's sleeping habits were terrible.

Snatching the blanket and snoring were bad enough, but this girl even pulled her tail!

It was unbearable!

But...

If they couldn't expand the house, they could only reluctantly sleep together for now.

Eira had to accept this desperate fact.

This was the first time she had felt so uncomfortable since entering Stardew Valley.

"What's wrong, Eira? You seem a bit unhappy?"

Nisha was still immersed in the joy of finally being able to sleep with Eira after a long time. She didn't notice that Eira's mood was off.

She just asked with confusion.

"It's still early, let's go chop trees!"

Eira no longer had the mood to go sightseeing elsewhere; she just wanted to accumulate wood quickly.

So Eira forcibly dragged Nisha, who wanted to continue exploring other areas, back to the farm. She grabbed an axe and began chopping at the trees on the farm.

Nisha watched Eira, bewildered, as she started chopping with an axe. She didn't understand why Eira had suddenly become so passionate.

But seeing Eira's inexplicably glaring eyes, she could only obediently follow her pace and start chopping trees together.

Summer, Day 4.

The weather was clear and cloudless, another day for crops to fully absorb sunlight and grow.

Nisha's Stardew Valley time was considered fast among all Adventurers.

After all, she was also the first Adventurer to arrive in Stardew Valley.

"What a beautiful day, I slept well yesterday."

Eira stretched, her white cat ears twitching slightly, and her tail swayed with the frequency of the breeze.

Yesterday, Nisha surprisingly didn't cause any trouble, and she slept very comfortably.

She even felt more comfortable sleeping here than at her own home, which truly surprised her.

The only downside was that when she woke up, Nisha was still pressing down on her, which didn't feel very good.

Nisha was a warrior, and she was a mage; their physiques were not on the same level. It was like a plank of wood pressing down on her.

However, fortunately, this feeling only occurred the moment she woke up; everything was peaceful while she was asleep.

This was probably another amazing aspect of this Dungeon!

"This Dungeon has so many secrets, I really want to find them all!"

As a cat-girl, Eira's feline curiosity was thoroughly ignited.

She was even a bit impatient.

"Awoo~~ Eira, you're awake so early."

Just then, a sleepy voice from behind interrupted her urge to explore.
