Wei stood outside the dungeon, quietly observing everything unfolding before her eyes.
This—this sight was something she was witnessing for the first time.
"Hey… Hao… is this normal?" Wei asked,
"Yeah… whenever a Dungeon King is killed, the dungeon starts sinking into the Earth. It's normal," Hao replied calmly.
"So if we defeat all the Dungeon Kings… then monsters will be gone?" Wei wondered aloud.
"It doesn't work like that," Hao sighed.
"Every other day, a new dungeon appears. Some weak, some strong. First, A-rankers inspect them. Once they confirm the dungeon's rank, only then it's opened for hunters."
"I see," Wei nodded.
She looked at sword and then noticed hao's injuries—shock flickering in her expression.
"You're injured."
"Here, take this potion," Wei said, handing him the reward potion they had obtained after killing the Dungeon King.
Hao applied the liquid to his wounds, and within minutes, the injuries vanished completely—no scars left behind.
---
"Should we go hunt more?" Wei asked.
"No… I'm exhausted. I'm honestly surprised I can even stand right now," Hao admitted as he slowly got up.
"Alright then—let's go home," Wei said, supporting him.
"Wait… before that, I want to check my level," Hao said. Wei nodded.
"Status window—open."
Since Wei was holding him, she could also see his status screen.

"What is this…? Why are my vitals increasing by +100? They were supposed to rise only by +50 each level," Hao murmured, shocked—Wei heard it too.
"What are you saying? Vitals increase by +150 per level, right?" Wei replied casually.
"What?! Yours increase by +150 per level?!" Hao froze. Last time, he hadn't paid attention to her numbers.
"Show your status window."
"Status window—open."

Hao stared in disbelief.
"Ten levels in a single day… and your attributes and vitals are resetting higher? Are you a Demon Lord or something?!"
"Hehh…?" Wei blinked.
"And potions instantly recover MP, right?" Wei asked.
"They do… but it takes about 10 minutes," Hao replied.
"Thank you though," he added with a small smile. "If not for you, reaching level 15 would've taken me a month."
"A month? Then what kind of weak training have you been doing?" Wei teased.
"Just because you're strong doesn't mean everyone has your system. You have Ares… and an Item Box… that's rare." Hao sighed.
"But… why don't you have a main skill? Everyone is born with at least one."
"I don't know anything about this world. So how would I know?" Wei shrugged.
---
As they entered the town, they overheard chatter.
"Did you hear? A dungeon appeared in the Dusky Forest yesterday!"
"Yeah, A-rankers are checking it today. I hope it's just C-rank."
"If it's anything above that, we won't be able to enter."
Wei turned to Hao.
"They're talking about our dungeon, right?"
"Yeah," Hao answered.
He already knew that dungeon hadn't been inspected—no one had even asked for their license card.
Licenses were issued by the guild. Identification and authorization both.
"Oh… but the dungeon disappeared. Should we… tell them?"
"No. Let's go home first," Hao said quietly.
Wei didn't speak further.
---
At home—
"Wei, Hao—where were you? And Hao, what happened to you?" Jun (their father) asked.
Potion healing wasn't fully done yet, so Hao still looked drained.
"It's nothing, Dad… we just ran into a D-rank monster," Hao lied lightly.
Jun relaxed. "Alright… sit and rest."
He walked away.
---
"Hao… can you use all magic elements equally?" Wei asked suddenly.
"What do you mean?" Hao blinked.
"I can use water and fire well, but I can barely form the others," he explained.
"I've only tried water, light, and earth so far," Wei said thoughtfully.
"Then try the others," Hao suggested.
"Here?"
"No—let's go to the training grounds."
---
The commander was present. He greeted them with a smile.
"Princess, what magic will you demonstrate today?"
"Hao wants to see which elements I can use!" Wei replied.
She stood in the center of the grounds.
This time, she remembered—only one hand was enough.
First—Wind.
She focused her mana—
FWOOSH
The wind blast ripped a tree straight out of the ground.
Next—Fire.
Flames engulfed the tree in seconds.
Then—Water, extinguishing the flames.
Then—Earth, restoring the tree to its place.
Finally—Healing.
She hesitated—but tried.
Green light spread—branches regrew—leaves blossomed—
The once-burned tree stood alive and full.
Wei stared, breath caught.
Hao smiled quietly.
"Is… that all the elements?" Wei asked.
"That's all of them," Hao confirmed.
"Princess, you can use all elements… truly remarkable," the commander said.
He was less shocked than yesterday—but still impressed.
"Thank you, Uncle," Wei smiled.
---
Wei and Hao sat on the ground afterward.
"Hao… if your sword breaks while fighting monsters—do you have any other combat technique?" Wei asked.
"If my sword breaks… no. I don't have one," Hao admitted.
"Then do you want to learn boxing and martial arts?" Wei asked.
"Boxing… martial arts…?" Hao repeated.
"Yes. In my world, these are fighting styles where your hands and legs are your weapons. You become your own artifact," Wei said.
"…Show me," Hao said.
They sparred.
Wei was already skilled—and now she added mana into her movements.
Hao couldn't keep up for long.
"Stop—stop—I get it! This is incredible," he gasped, breathing heavily.
"So when do we start training?" Wei asked.
"At the academy…" Hao said.
"But for today… I'm exhausted. I need rest."
He headed inside.
Wei blinked.
"…Well, what am I supposed to do now?"
With that, she also returned to her room.
