Grinning, Saitama gripped his controller, radiating certainty.
"Teacher, I'll provide covering fire!" Genos's speaking speed matched his button presses.
His "Oni Mech" arms morphed into gun barrels, unleashing a swarm of laser shots that preempted and sealed every escape line for "Fighter Ryu."
Meanwhile, Bang's eyes turned razor-sharp.
He didn't recklessly charge like Saitama; he cut in from a wickedly angled flank to Lin Mo's rear.
To any observer, this looked like a dead end.
"It's over!" Saitama yelled in excitement.
But at the precise instant the attacks were about to land, the "Fighter Ryu" who had stood still finally moved.
He stepped forward—into Saitama's "Giant Titan"—one step.
That step placed him just outside the minimum hitbox of the Titan's shoulder charge.
The giant roared past in a gust that rippled Ryu's gi—without clipping him.
Because of the Titan's size, the rush put his massive frame right beneath Genos's falling fire net.
"Teacher, look out!"
Genos shouted, trying to cease fire—too late.
With the original target screened, the laser shots slammed into Saitama's "Giant Titan."
Boom-boom-boom-boom—
Explosions stitched across the Titan's back; Saitama's character locked into brief hit-stun.
"What?!"
Saitama was lost—no idea why he'd been hit by friendly fire.
And it still wasn't over.
That single step not only dodged Saitama's charge and drew Genos's friendly fire—it placed Lin Mo right in the path of Bang's side cut.
In an instant, offense and defense reversed.
Faced with "Fighter Ryu" at arm's length, Bang's martial-artist avatar, locked in its preset animation, exposed a half-second opening.
For Lin Mo, half a second was enough to decide life or death.
His fingers tapped out inputs—no flashy supers—just the most basic bread-and-butter string.
Light punch, light kick, heavy punch—into a rising dragon punch.
On-screen, "Fighter Ryu" flowed like water and rock, laying a clean combo into Bang's "Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist: Silver."
A final blue-tinged fist sent Bang's avatar soaring—and knocked him out.
As the string ended, Lin Mo walked his character back half a step to center—unhurried, as if he'd swatted a fly.
From "FIGHT!" to Bang's defeat—less than five seconds.
Bang's character slumped and dissolved into motes.
The first KO.
"Master Bang!" Genos cried.
Silence fell over the dojo.
Saitama's mouth hung in an O. He looked from his still-exploding Titan to Bang's defeated portrait—mind blank.
Bang's heart rocked, fine sweat misting his brow.
He had seen clearly—KING's inputs had not a single wasted frame.
What astounding reactions and read!
"Don't panic! He just got lucky!" Saitama rallied with a roar. "We still have two! We can do this!"
"Take this!" He charged again with "Giant Titan."
But without Bang's anchor, brute force and long-range cover were riddled with holes.
Lin Mo walked "Fighter Ryu" like a stroll in a garden.
Every Titan haymaker was slipped with ease; every shot from Genos was ducked with the simplest jumps.
"Too slow," Lin Mo's mouth tilted.
He snared the Titan's whiffed heavy punch, punished the huge recovery with a jump-in heavy kick—and canceled into a super.
"Vacuum Wave Fist!"
A massive blue beam erupted from "Fighter Ryu's" hands and swallowed the Titan whole.
Second KO—Saitama.
In the dojo, Saitama stared wide-eyed at his greyscale screen; his controller dropped with a clack.
"How… can he be this strong…"
Now only Genos remained—facing a nearly full-health starter in a white gi.
Pressure like never before pressed on Genos—but he did not back down.
"Even without a chance, I will fight to the last moment!"
His eyes hardened. He gathered every drop of energy and triggered his ultimate.
"Incineration Cannon—maximum power!"
"Oni Mech's" core irised wide; a gold beam many times broader than before roared at "Fighter Ryu."
At last, Lin Mo smiled.
He walked "Fighter Ryu" forward—straight into the annihilating beam.
Then his fingers blurred, hammering a single command at inhuman speed.
On-screen, within the gold column, "Fighter Ryu" flashed burst after burst of block sparks—
Clang-clang-clang-clang-clang-clang—
All three stared, stunned.
He was using the most basic mechanic—blocking—on the exact frames, parrying every tick of the ultimate's damage.
And each was a perfect block.
What a monstrous reaction speed.
When the beam faded, "Fighter Ryu" stood untouched, lowering his guard.
Lin Mo didn't use any skills. He walked "Fighter Ryu" up to "Oni Mech" and extended a hand.
A single, simple light punch.
"PERFECT!"
The starter in the white gi remained at full health.
Deathly silence in the dojo.
Lin Mo set the controller down, exhaled softly, and smiled.
"Looks like I win."
