The next morning, sunlight fell through the dojo windows onto spotless floorboards.
Fresh from washing up, Lin Mo stepped out of the guest room.
A simple casual outfit, the same calm composure—as if last night's earth-shaking 1v3 had never happened.
They'd played late into the night, and Bang had asked them to stay over.
To be fair, Bang's level was formidable. Aside from being dimensionally reduced by Lin Mo, he had all but crushed Saitama and Genos.
Saitama had initially held his own against Genos, but once Genos's inputs sharpened, Saitama had no chance…
He'd button-mashed the same "turtle fist" the whole time…
Now Saitama sat off to the side with a face like bitter gourd.
Cross-legged, eyes empty on a knot in the floorboards, he gave off the air of a man burned to ash.
"I… lost… and so completely…" he muttered, disbelief thick.
It stung worse than the emptiness after flattening a monster with one punch.
He hadn't even beaten Genos…
Bang wore a mingled wryness and relief. Last night's "game" had shown him their true levels.
There was nothing to say about Mr. KING. Bang marveled inwardly.
That godlike reaction, that hair's-breadth perception, that foresight of the whole field—near perfect.
Hard to imagine such perfect combat wisdom contained in one man.
Bang even thought that, if KING's way of fighting were translated into martial arts, it would surpass all schools.
"Wasn't there a 'KING style' once?" Bang mused. "Seems worth a visit…"
Genos, though a first-timer, truly was an S-Class cyborg.
His learning and adaptation were astonishing. His numbers were strong across the board—if a touch green in tactical seasoning.
As for Saitama… Bang's mouth twitched.
The man had zero sense of the field!
He remembered Saitama clutching his controller, eyes bulging, fingers hurricane-mashing every button—and shook his head.
That wasn't fighting—it was abusing a controller.
But the smile soon returned.
A simple mind, free of distraction, unbound by set forms and patterns—that was the perfect material for Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist!
His physical gifts stood at the summit; what he lacked was exactly the technique to guide that flood of power.

Just then Lin Mo strolled over, breaking the silence.
"All right, gentlemen. Time for me to head back." His voice was warm and even.
He smiled and bowed to Bang. "All feasts must end. Thank you for your generous hospitality yesterday."
Bang shook himself from his thoughts and waved quickly, face full of sincere respect:
"Not at all—if anything, I should thank you for your instruction, Mr. KING. If you don't mind, you are always welcome. My doors stand open to you."
"Certainly." Lin Mo nodded, accepting the goodwill.
After brief farewells, the three left the dojo.
So, under the watch of Bang and Charanko, Lin Mo departed with Saitama and Genos.
They vanished around the corner. Only then did Charanko let out a huge breath—he felt he'd been holding it the whole time around S-Class heroes.
He sidled up to his master and whispered, "Master, Mr. KING… what divine technique did he show last night?"
"Why did you and Mr. Saitama react so strongly? I… didn't understand at all."
Bang did not answer at once. He turned and walked back into the dojo.
A long moment passed before he exhaled and a new, unwavering light rose in his eyes.
"Charanko," he said gravely, "starting tomorrow, double all basic training for the dojo."
"Ah?" Charanko blinked, pointing at himself. "Master, the dojo… the dojo is just me!"
Bang's gaze burned like a torch, piercing his disciple's "confusion." "No. We begin again."
"From the most basic stances and breathing. We still have many shortcomings…"

"Teacher, where to next?" Genos asked as usual, at Saitama's side.
But Saitama only waved weakly, not even turning his head. "I… want to be alone for a bit."
He looked up at the sky and sighed. "Feels like… I need a place to think about life…"
With that, he set off toward the Z City no-man's land he knew best.
This time, the yellow suit and white cape looked less invincible—and more like the quiet of an ordinary man.
"Teacher…" Genos watched his mentor's back with worry—but did not follow.
He understood—what Saitama needed now was not protection or care, but space.
He chose to return to Dr. Kuseno's lab and dig deeper into last night's data. He swore to find a path to become stronger—so he could do more.
And so the S-Class heroes parted ways. Lin Mo watched them go with a small smile.
"Well then, I should head back too." KING adjusted his collar, pulled his cap low, and walked toward the nearest intercity station.
His home was in M City—some distance away.
The train ran smoothly along the tracks; the scenery sped backward—the city's towers and the green of the outskirts sliding past the window.
Lin Mo took a window seat, put on his headphones, and closed his eyes.
A black cap and a surgical mask hid his face well.
The look made him indistinguishable from any traveler.
If anything, the scar just visible across his left eye gave him a touch of menace—enough for nearby passengers to keep their distance.
Just as he liked it.
He savored the peace of not being disturbed.
It did not last long.
