Viona's POV – 4 days later
"There… have you received it?" Sasha, the janitor lady, widened her eyes in excitement beside me, still pretending to mop the canteen floor that was already so shiny because she had spent five minutes mopping the same exact spot.
Still chewing my chicken steak slowly, I unlocked my phone and saw a message notification with a video attachment from Sasha.
My finger tapped it open, and I nodded slowly in acceptance.
Then I looked up at her, wondering.
"Why don't you just sit in front of me? Whispering while mopping the same spot for minutes looks more suspicious than us sitting together." I asked.
"This is not my break time."
"You can't sit when it's not your break? Not allowed to have a chit-chat?"
She finally stopped mopping, her eyes darting between my chewing face and the empty chair across from me.
"How could I sit with the highly educated employees?"
"You sat just fine with me at the playground park last week."
