Viona's POV
The boy with sparkling eyes blinked up at me, his excitement spilling over so easily it was almost contagious.
"Thank you, Mrs Kingston. Playing a patient in a wheelchair… it gave me a new kind of experience. I'll definitely remember it."
His cheerfulness softened the entire VIP room, the sterile air loosening into something warmer, lighter, like the space had briefly forgotten it was a hospital.
I turned to his mother.
"I think I know where Jimmy gets his talent from. You should try the big screen."
Michele let out a soft giggle, clearly amused. "You're too kind, Mrs Kingston. But the stage is my calling. I'll send you an invitation to my next play. And… thank you for your help with the investment."
"No… no, please." I waved it off lightly. "I should be the one thanking you. This means a lot to me. Your theatre team deserves that investment. If anything, you've practically helped me for free."
