"Since I'm going first, it's my turn. Draw." After drawing a card from his Deck, Chazz grinned smugly. "Looks like Lady Luck is on my side today. I Normal Summon Armed Dragon LV3, then Set two cards. End my turn."
A small dragon with a touch of cuteness bounced its way onto Chazz's field, looking around curiously as if deep in thought.
TURN.2
"Talking big for nothing. Isn't it just a monster with only 1200 Attack?"
Don Zaloog had been startled by Chazz's declaration of luck, but after seeing that Chazz only had Armed Dragon LV3 on his field, he relaxed.
"That just proves your imagination is lacking! Armed Dragon LV3 is a monster that harbors special power~"
Chazz bragged proudly, but Don Zaloog didn't seem to be listening.
"My turn, draw. I summon myself!"
As he slapped a Don Zaloog card onto his Duel Disk, he himself ran forward a few steps, practically freeing up a Spell/Trap Zone.
Baffled by Don Zaloog's bizarre behavior, Chazz complained, "Hey, if you're summoning a monster, then just summon the monster! Why are you running up here yourself?"
Don Zaloog muttered some incomprehensible nonsense, then activated a Spell Card. "To us, monsters are ourselves, so of course we take the field personally. These days, when people summon themselves, they like to send stand-ins instead.
"Such a lack of responsibility. Next, I activate the Normal Spell Mustering of the Dark Scorpions. This card can only be activated while I control myself. I can Special Summon all Dark Scorpion monsters from my hand!"
"So it's a combo that Special Summons every qualifying card in your hand with a single card?!"
"I Special Summon Dark Scorpion - Gorg the Strong and Dark Scorpion - Chick the Yellow, then I pay 2000 LP to activate Ties of the Brethren."
"Targeting myself, I Special Summon Dark Scorpion - Cliff the Trap Remover and Dark Scorpion - Meena the Thorn from my Deck."
"Then I activate the Continuous Spell The A. Forces. All Warrior monsters on my field gain Attack equal to the number of Warrior and Spellcaster monsters on the field ×200. Since there are five Warriors, everyone gains 1000 Attack!"

With all five standing together on the field, Chazz couldn't help but find it a little amusing.
"Even though you can't enter the Battle Phase this turn, if you could, wouldn't each of you have to come up and fight the monsters yourselves?"
Don Zaloog nodded. "Exactly! I Set two cards. End my turn."
The moment Don Zaloog declared the end of his turn, Chazz flipped one of his set cards. "I won't let you end it just like that. When you declare the End Phase, I activate the set card Ojama Pajama."
"This card can only be activated during either player's Main Phase. I add one Ojama card from my Deck to my hand, then discard one card. I choose Ojamagic, add it to my hand, then discard it."
"He actually discarded the card he just searched?"
Don Zaloog couldn't understand the meaning behind Chazz's action.
Chazz crooked his mouth into a grin and pulled out three Normal Monsters from his Deck. "That's why I said your imagination is lacking."
"I activate the effect of Ojamagic in the Graveyard. When this card is sent to the Graveyard from the field or hand, I add one each of Ojama Yellow, Ojama Green, and Ojama Black from my Deck to my hand."
At his side, the three Ojamas appeared.
"So it's finally our turn to take the stage."
"This is the long-awaited opening act."
"This time we didn't mess things up for the boss."
Chazz slapped all three of them away at once and said, "You're so annoying. Don't start chirping the moment you show up."
"Huh? Even though you searched three cards, aren't they just three useless monsters with 0 Attack and 1000 Defense?"
Don Zaloog pointed at the three Ojamas.
"They don't even have as much Attack as my Chick, right, Gick?"
"Hey, boss, personal attacks are against the rules!"

"Even if they're three trash monsters, trash have their own way of being used. If you underestimate them, I'll make you suffer for it~"
"My turn, draw! Standby Phase—Armed Dragon LV3, which stayed on the field for one full turn, will now evolve!"
Armed Dragon LV3's orange body gradually turned red, a sign that its evolution had begun. Like a Pokémon, it transformed amid a burst of light, with LV3 becoming Armed Dragon LV5.
"During my Standby Phase, I can activate this by sending Armed Dragon LV3 on my field to the Graveyard. I Special Summon Armed Dragon LV5 from my hand or Deck."
Then, as the duel entered the Main Phase, the Ojama Pajama on Chazz's field lit up once more.
"I activate Ojama Pajama's effect. I search my Deck for Ojamassimilation, then discard Ojama Black from my hand."
"Next, I activate Ojamassimilation. I reveal a LIGHT Machine Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck to my opponent, then I banish any number of Ojama monsters from my hand, field, or Graveyard to activate this effect."
"I then Special Summon Fusion Material monsters whose names are listed on the revealed monster, equal to the number of monsters banished, from my hand, Deck, or Graveyard."
"I reveal XYZ-Dragon Cannon, and banish Ojama Yellow, Ojama Green, and Ojama Black!"
The three Ojamas were strapped onto operating tables by suddenly appearing mechanical arms. Drills, circular saws, and even a toothbrush (something clearly off about the art style) gradually emerged nearby.
After a flash of electricity and a series of indescribable sounds, three Machine monsters appeared on the field.
"I Special Summon X-Head Cannon, Y-Dragon Head, and Z-Metal Tank. Preparations complete—Union Combination! I banish X-Head Cannon, Y-Dragon Head, and Z-Metal Tank from the field to Special Summon XYZ-Dragon Cannon!"
The three Machine monsters combined together in a sequence straight out of a Super Sentai mecha scene, forming the ace monster of Chazz's Extra Deck.
"Next, I target the three banished Ojamas. I banish Ojamassimilation from my Graveyard, return those three guys to the Deck, and draw one card."
"Hey, you three! If any of you dare to come back to my hand, I'll kill you!"
After threatening the Ojamas, Chazz drew a card. "Nice card. I discard my second Ojamagic and destroy the Set card on your left."
XYZ-Dragon Cannon charged up by discarding a card, then directly destroyed Don Zaloog's Set card.
"My Sakuretsu Armor!!!"
Three Ojamas appeared in Chazz's hand once again. "Don't forget—Ojamagic's effect also activates. I add Ojama Yellow, Ojama Green, and Ojama Black from my Deck to my hand."
"XYZ-Dragon Cannon doesn't have a once-per-turn restriction. I discard Ojama Yellow and destroy your other Set card!"
The Dark Scorpions' Set Mirror Force was also destroyed.
Looking at the disastrous situation, Don Zaloog stubbornly retorted, "You're not seriously going to use that monster's effect to wipe out all of us Dark Scorpions, are you?!"
"True, I won't use XYZ-Dragon Cannon's effect to wipe you all out. But what about Armed Dragon's effect?"
"I activate the card I drew this turn—Level Up! I send a face-up monster on my field whose name includes 'LV' to the Graveyard, then Special Summon a monster whose name is listed on that card from my hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. I send Armed Dragon LV5 to the Graveyard—descend onto my field, Armed Dragon LV7!"
From the Level Up! in Chazz's hand flew out a Horus the Black Flame Dragon. It circled around Armed Dragon LV5 once, and LV5's body began to change, evolving into Armed Dragon LV7.
"I activate Armed Dragon LV7's effect! I discard one monster from my hand to activate this effect, then destroy all of your monsters with Attack less than or equal to the discarded monster's Attack. I discard Light and Darkness Dragon! Its Attack is 2800—exactly the same as the highest Attack monster on your field right now. Disappear, all of you!"
Armed Dragon LV7 swung its arm and smashed the ground. Rapidly expanding cracks immediately swallowed the five Dark Scorpions, clearing their field.
Don Zaloog barely managed to crawl out of the crack at the fastest speed of his life, while Chazz found himself confused that this attack had caused real, tangible destruction.
"I don't know why, but Armed Dragon LV7 and XYZ-Dragon Cannon attack you directly."

Blasted away by the attacks of the manifested spirits, Don Zaloog crashed to the ground. The Dark Artifact he carried began to glow, and his body slowly started to dissipate.
"Hey… what's going on here?"
Seeing that the cracks in the ground hadn't disappeared and that Don Zaloog's condition was clearly abnormal, Chazz immediately moved to check on him.
"It's a Shadow Game. A duel where the souls or lives of both sides are wagered."
A maid-clad girl suddenly appeared behind Chazz.
Hanging from her neck was a key identical to the pendant Chazz was wearing. She explained, "They're the Seven Stars who seek to seize the sealed Sacred Beasts. The duel you just fought was a Shadow Game. They lost, so naturally, they must pay the price."
"How could this be… I actually took part in a duel like that?!"
As Chazz stood there in shock, the bodies of the five Dark Scorpions all vanished, leaving behind only a Dark Scorpion Burglars card and a Dark Artifact.
The maid tossed the Dark Scorpion Burglars card to Chazz and said, "Don't worry. As long as you wish it, they'll return to normal soon enough. Although right now, the stream starts in seven minutes. Aren't you going to head over?"
"Ah, it's already that late…?"
Chazz looked at the card in his hand, then stuffed it into his pocket together with the pendant. "I don't know who you are, but thanks for the explanation anyway. I'll give you an autograph sometime."
Joking as he spoke, Chazz ran off toward the duel arena.
"He's gotten a lot slicker with his words, hasn't he? Chazz."
Watching his departing figure, Youmi muttered.
"Oh no… I really didn't want to go out today because of that feeling. If it starts over here, it'll be bad. I should hurry up and slip away…"
