Just as tensions in the room seemed to reach its boiling point, the doors to the music room abruptly burst open, then Leira and the knights rushed in with obvious urgency.
The older Thillion's gaze immediately landed on the scene before her, and when she took in the sight of Renzille holding her reddening cheek, Kreios standing protectively next to her, and Count Thillion standing in front of them with an ntimidating look on his face— she just knew.
Leira's expression hardened as she let out a sharp command, her voice booming with a growl. "Father, get away from her!"
The Count's face flickered with mild confusion, but his eyebrows furrowed with anger. "Leira, my daughter.. Who died in our family and gave you the right to yell at your father?"
However, instead of backing down, Leira ignored his question and proceeded to give an order to her knights.
