"Honestly… fuck this. Why am I even struggling?!"
It really wasn't worth it for him to be struggling as if he cared about his life this much. If that were the case, he wouldn't be in this situation—or he would have let go of Kiho's hand without a second thought. Also, his hand being clawed at hurt too much, enough to make him give up.
The hand barely holding onto the frame of the door was close to being ripped away when Lim Soohyun loosened his grip himself. With a spring, his body instantly shot back, hitting Kiho. They both tumbled down the stairs into the basement. Kiho wrapped his arms around his torso as they fell. Lim Soohyun's head rattled, but his fall was cushioned by Kiho's body under him. He wasn't injured more than he already was, but Kiho seemed to have lost consciousness—he didn't move at all, and Lim Soohyun's hands were his to take back again. Though the bloodied hands were trembling too much to be used normally.
"Kiho? You sleeping?"
