Cherreads

Chapter 55 - A wrench in my plan.

It was noon, the next day, as we stopped near a lake, and the girls were cooking some food as a caravan was coming our way from the other side. They looked to be slavers as they had cages of people of different races in them. As I watched them, my eyes landed on a Chinese-looking woman with horns sitting in a cage by herself.

The slavers stopped and began unhooking the horses so they could drink. "I can't believe an army was sitting near the border with the dark elven kingdom. It looks like something big happened in Warish." A group of people said walking the horses near us.

This made my ears perk up. Did the Prince send messages in the area near the border, and did they mobilize their army so quickly? I saw a fat man near the cage with the woman I had been looking at, and I stood up and walked over to him. "Sir, I was wondering if these slaves were for sale?" I said.

My words made him look from the woman to me as he scuffed. "She is out of your buying range." He said as I looked at her, noticing the pinkish scales around her eyes and the slits for pupils. She was a beauty, for sure. Looking back at the man, I asked again.

"How much, and we will see if I don't have the money," I said with a smirk as he looked at me with disgust before speaking. "100 platinum coins, she is a dragon from another land, making her exotic." He said as I whistled at the price.

Pulling out a coin bag as I threw it to him, he looked at it for a moment before opening it as I spoke. "There should be 100 platinum coins in there, I desire to buy her," I said, making him look inside as he saw the platinum coins before speaking. "That was the price for the Emperor of Warish, you have to pay 200 platinum coins." He said.

He probably thought I couldn't fork out another 100 platinum coins as I pulled out another bag, making him gulp as I threw it over. "Here is another 100 platinum coins," I said, as if it wasn't a bother. He looked at me, trying to figure out who I was as he opened the bag and counted the coins before sighing and nodding.

"Fine." He said, opening the cage and speaking. "Get out." Making the woman stand up as she walked out and stood before me as he pulled down her Hanfu, revealing her naked breasts, as a crest was on her chest above her tits. She blushed with a deep pink as she glared at me. "Drop some blood on this crest." He said as I walked over, I cut my hand, letting blood fall onto it.

It started to glow before stopping, and my screen beeped.

[Slaves- Fenlong(Dragon Race)]

"Pull up her Hanfu," I said as she followed my orders, but didn't speak, as she glared at me. I turned to the man and held out a hand as I spoke. "My name is John Colt. I was wondering what this whole army thing was going on," I said, making the man sigh.

"The Warish Empire set up camp near the border with the Dark Elve Kingdom, looking for someone. Whoever they are looking for must be strong, as they have amassed about 250,000 soldiers and knights." He finished saying before leaving to take care of what he needed to do.

"Interesting, to amass so many people for me. I am flattered that the Prince thinks so highly of me." I muttered before turning around and walking as I spoke. "Follow me," I said, ordering Fenlong.

Making it back to the girls who looked at the new woman, tilting their heads as I spoke. "We may have a change in plans, Natasha. What is the land around the border of the Dark Elve Kingdom and Warish like?" I asked her to pull out a map and started to talk.

"The mountain we have to enter has a forest to the left of it, while there is an open plain area to the right going on for miles. Why do you ask?" She said, making me explain that the Warish Empire must have sent word to all the cities near here that I was heading this way and they were to stop me.

"What do you plan to do, Colt?" Natasha asked with worry, making me smirk.

"Give them a taste of war from my home world; the brutality of it will spread my name throughout the world and strike fear in everyone. After all, it's better to be feared than respected." I said, picking up a plate of food, and I started to eat.

"Eat up, we will drive to this point before we enter the forest as I plan to use the forest as cover for my attack," I said, pointing to an open area ten miles to the right of where we were planning to go. This place gives me enough distance to amass more drones without drawing attention.

They probably don't know I am already close by. Let's see if they will bring more men. The more I kill, the less likely they are to try anything after this, as if I can kill 250,000 to 300,000 in a short time. The people of the Empire will not have the will to fight. Along with the loss of so many nobles and the Emperor, the land will be in too much chaos to want to fight me more.

"Eat," I ordered Fenlong. She looked at the food and picked up a plate. I didn't care what she thought. As of now, I thought she was sexy, so that was the only reason I had bought her. While she started to eat, I pulled out another chest of crystals and began to absorb them.

As the girls ate, I worked on the number of drones I would make and crunched the ammo I would need. I would end up using about 40 potions, but it would be worth it. I need to make a million things to level up my creation magic, but with this, I would be close to halfway there. At each level, it becomes easier to resupply as prices drop.

The girls finished, and we mounted as Fenlong looked confused at the Humvee, only to have one of the Cat women help her. I didn't try talking to her as it would be pointless; she would speak to me when she was ready. There was no point in forcing her to do it, plus I don't plan to sleep with her yet. Even if she were my slave, I wouldn't force her to do it; with the Elves, they had a part of them that wanted to sleep with me.

But Fenlong didn't have that, and I wouldn't force her to, because in time she will desire it herself, as that was the nature of things. It didn't take long for us to get to the spot, as it was only forty miles away from the area we were in, so it was a little less than an hour of driving as I finished up the chest.

I had 210,000 mana now, as we stopped and stood in the field as I began to make my drones. I choose to make another 180 Artorias A2s, 180 Alexander A2s, and 146 Caesar A2s. Giving me 200, 200, 150 for the standing number of drones, other than the 10 Napoleon A2s, which I made another 40 of.

As they stood before me, Fenlong looked on in shock; her land doesn't have anything like these things. Her dragon instincts told her they were items of death. She looked at her new master and wondered who this John Colt was and whether he could save her mother and sisters. But she shook her head and chose to keep quiet, watching him.

The bottles started to lie on the ground as I kept working, making enough ammo to resupply each drone a total of four times. With this amount, I could fight an army that numbered a few million, if I weren't encircled and they gave me enough to rearm. But an army of 250,000 would be child's play for this amount of firepower.

The sun started to set as I finished up my prep for the night ahead. Sending out the drones into the forest, spreading them out until I found the best fire position for the Napoleon A2s and spoke. "Well, ladies, shall we start to walk?" As I stored the Humvee and drones and headed towards the forest, they followed behind me.

The firing position was about 4km from the army. I had the drones start watching the military from the forest, floating silently in the night; it didn't take much force to keep them aloft. Getting to the places I had picked out and putting out the drones spread out within the forest before ordering them to set up for the order to fire.

As we walked towards the edge of the forest, I summoned my drones, which silently spread out. I noticed the Empire hadn't put anyone in the forest as lookouts; they underestimulated me. Maybe they didn't believe the news from the Empire. Whatever the reason was, it was going to be their downfall.

Stopping 300 meters from the edge, as I ordered fifty of each of the Artorais and Alexander drones to move into a column to the left of my flank, and ordered them on standby, and only act if they tried to flank me or I ordered them to reinforce the center.
