Inside a castle, a man looked out. His skin was dark, and he had white hair and pointed ears as he looked out, seeing a wide range of tents beyond his city walls. "Dear, is everything alright?" A woman said as she walked from behind him, she was naked as she hugged her husband from behind.
"I am worried, the Emperor says they are trying to find someone. But this amount of men for one person is a little odd, it's like they are thinking about invading our Kingdom. We wouldn't be able to stop that size of an army with our men." He said, looking out the window, hoping the Empire was telling the truth.
The wind blew through their room. "It's a cold night, sweety, go back to bed." He said to his wife as he picked up a pipe and was about to light it when a glimmer of several objects floating over the forest caught his eye. "Wife, bring me my telescope." He said as his wife walked over to his desk and picked it up.
"What's going on, dear?" The Dark Elve asked her husband as he took the telescope, the moon had become blocked out as he looked out over the forest. "I swear I saw some strange animal floating above the forest." He said as his wife looked out over the forest.
"I don't see anything?" She said, confused as they both looked at it, and her husband sighed. "Maybe I am just stressed out." He said he was about to turn when his wife spoke. "Right there." She said, pointing out the window, making him look through the telescope.
"It doesn't look like an animal, it looks man-made." He said, handing the telescope over to his wife, who has more knowledge of magical equipment. "It's made out of Aetherion, odd, why would anyone use that?" She said, as her husband looked over the forest, only to see a spark, and reached for the telescope.
"There is a man and a group of women at the edge of the forest." He said seeing a human and a cat woman with him. He was wearing odd clothing and holding an odd stick-like thing. The man looked over his shoulder as the Dark Elve man watched, only to step back as massive wolf-like monsters walked out.
His wife noticed his shock as she grabbed the telescope. "Those things are made from Nightshade metal and Mythralis Veil!" She yelled out, only to be brought out of her shock as the village of tents was rocked by Dark magic.
As the husband and wife looked at the village of tents, thirty-foot orbs appeared, only to hear massive bangs. Their eyes looked over to the gigantic wolves as fire exploded out from atop their backs, and small glowing objects flew towards the Emperor's soldiers, ripping them apart.
"Duke Zidvimu Bezgore, the Empirer, is under attack!" A soldier ran in yelling, followed by two twin dark elves aged 16. "Father, what is going on?" They asked. He looked out the window and turned to the soldier before speaking. "Man the walls, but do not help the Empire or those who are attacking them for now. It looks like this is between the two of them." He commanded as he started to get dressed.
A few moments before, the Dark Elves witnessed everything.
"Looks like Jamal is here. I don't know how he got here so fast, but this works out for me. The sooner I kill him, the sooner an unknown will be out of the way." I said, lighting a smoke as I had my flying drones look around the camp, and they noticed him coming out of a tent in the middle of the camp.
I lit a smoke as I held the Sig Spear before speaking. "You ladies stay back here. I will leave two of my drones here just in case," I said, walking forward as I spoke again. "Caesar Units move out. Once you're 50 meters out, spread out and open fire. Alexander Units, be ready to take the front as the Caesar units move to switch out after they run out of ammo." I commanded as I began leaving the forest with the Caesar Units.
As the mortars kept falling onto the camp, taking out chunks of tents and people, we made it to our place, and the Caesar Units opened fire with their 20mm rounds. Hitting the tents and the edge of the camp, which was about 800 meters away. You could see blood splats on the canvas tents as people ran out, only to get mowed down.
The camp was in chaos for a few minutes, leading to a massive amount of loss of life as the Caesar Units ran out, and the other drones took over as we walked closer to the camp, stopping after about 100 meters.
I planned to leapfrog as my units ran out, as the Alexander units took point, as the Artorias Units took up behind them, waiting. But the movement and the implacement gave the Empire time to square itself away as the mortars stopped falling. Looking at my forearm screen, the Napolean Units are reloading.
As the Alexander Units began to open fire, their rate of fire was slower, so they could last slightly longer as the Caesar Units reloaded. I noticed 25,000 cavalry units in the back were trying to take the long way around to flank me as I waited for them to get to the edge of the camp. "Corner Alexander Units shift fire angle it! Flank units move out!" As the Corner Alexander Units moved their tri-barreled .50 caliber Gatling guns to mow down the front units.
The units waiting in the forest rushed out; they were faster than the horses, so as they passed the cavalry units, their weapons were pointed at the men on the horses, shocking them as they began firing.
Around the time I had switched my units out, the Dark Elve Duke had left his castle, walking quickly down a path on the city wall. His wife and daughters followed him as he stopped on the wall close to the campsite, and he froze. "This is a slaughter." He said, as the soldiers nodded.
"Who did the Empire piss off to this point?" The Duke's wife asked, and he shook his head. "I don't know, but I know one thing. We must not offend him, or our Kingdom's fate could very well be the same." He said, looking at his wife before looking at his daughters, and spoke.
"Girls, you are of marrying age and some of the best-looking dark elves. Be prepared, as you may end up being used as a way to tie this man to our Kingdom." He said as his daughters bit their lips and nodded. That was the fate of all nobles and royalty, male or female; they didn't marry for love. Never have and never will, that is the curse of power.
"Duke, the Empire is going on the attack!" One of his men yelled out as they saw the cavalry running behind the camp. The Empire's cavalry was among the best, so they should be able to handle this. As he watched them make it to the edge and pass it, only for the first wave to fall within a second.
"DUKE THE FOREST!" Another soldier yelled as he looked to see a hundred wolf-like objects burst out of the forest and make it to the cavalry, mowing them down as they ran by them. "This fight is over." The Duke muttered as he noticed a man walk out of the camp and yelled out loud enough to spread out over the explosions and bangs.
"JOHN COLT, DO YOU DARE TO FIGHT ME, YOU COWARD!
The noise stopped as the man holding the stick-like object walked out from behind the wolf-like objects, smoking as he came to a stop about 25 meters in front. Flicking his smoking and quickly lifting the stick, only for a massive amount of wind and lightning magic to fly out towards the man, who yelled as a barrier formed.
Splitting the wind and lightning magic as it pushed him back.
