Aria
Caleb looked stunned when he saw me start to cry. Caleb moved closer to me, and I felt his warm hand gently wipe under my eyes, wiping away the tears flowing from my eyelids.
"Hey, did I do something wrong?" Caleb's voice sounded soft now, very different from his usual flat and sharp tone.
I shook my head slowly in Caleb's warm embrace. I quickly wiped my eyes to stop the tears.
"I'm just happy that you brought me here. But, it looks like they haven't finished building this place yet," I said, turning my head towards the window, trying to look outside and avoid Caleb's gaze.
To be honest, my cheeks flushed with embarrassment after realizing what had happened. I shouldn't have suddenly cried in front of Caleb like this.
"I want to show you around. There's a lot that's not finished yet, and I need your opinion on it," Caleb replied, quietly pulling the corners of his lips upward when he saw me blush.
