Chapter 17 - Bloodfang Antonio

Clark is very powerful, as evidenced by the fact that the system lists not just a few, but dozens of exclusive abilities.

But if given the opportunity to become even more powerful, Clark would certainly not refuse.

The Spider-Sense, this god-like sixth sense-like ability to foresee danger, undoubtedly made Clark very much looking forward to it.

The prerequisite is that Peter Parker must successfully graduate.

According to Clark's current observations, Peter Parker is just an ordinary student with an introverted personality. His only advantage is that he is quick-witted and has excellent test scores.

At most, graduating such an ordinary student would be like receiving an excellent gift package.

It's important to know that, according to the principal's system, Peter Parker only has the "qualification" of a hero; he is not a true hero yet!

"We need to make Peter Parker Spider-Man before he graduates!"

Clark already had a plan in mind.

...

"Observing the beautiful scenery outside the window? No, Peter Parker, you underestimate me! Do you think I can't guess what's on a young student like you thinking?"

Clark directly exposed Peter Parker's lie, his gaze sweeping over Gwenstad in the distance, already fully aware of the situation.

Peter Parker looked stunned, then incredibly embarrassed, and didn't dare to look up at Clark.

He was caught red-handed by the principal, and it happened during the time he was secretly observing the girl.

You can imagine how embarrassing it would be if this happened.

If there were a crack in the ground, Peter Parker would have crawled into it.

Peter Parker, who was feeling uneasy, suddenly felt a hand patting his shoulder:

There is an old saying in the East that I wholeheartedly agree with: "A fair maiden is the object of a gentleman's affections."

"Peter Parker, the principal understands how you feel, but he hopes you will prioritize your studies!"

Clark earnestly taught:

"Think about it, if you're just an ordinary student, can you be looked at with admiration by others? Can you be appreciated by those who value you? You can't. You can only do that by becoming outstanding enough!"

"Is there anything better than studying to make yourself better at school?"

When Clark was a student, he wasn't very enthusiastic about studying.

However, times have changed.

Now that he's the principal, his identity has changed, and he's teaching these students to study hard. He's incredibly happy!

Instead of being scolded or lectured, Peter Parker was offered advice, which made him feel very warm.

He looked at Clark with gratitude, thinking that Principal Clark understood him!

If he knew that the perfect partner his goddess desired was the headmaster in front of him who understood him, I wonder what he would think.

Clark nodded, smiled as he looked at Peter Parker, and then his gaze swept across the entire campus.

Graduation season is just a month away.

When that time comes, it will be the harvest season for leeks.

Just by lying still and waiting a month, Clark was able to get a bunch of graduation gift packages. For the first time, he felt that this principal system was quite powerful in some ways.

...

Night falls, and the darkness is indistinct.

Five board members left St. Kent College during the day. The first to leave, Director Charlie, was very obedient—or rather, the most sensible.

And so he has survived to this day.

However, after learning that the other four people were all dead, and that the police chief's conclusion was that everything was normal and it was just a regular car accident, Old Charlie was shocked.

Old Charlie knew he had to find a way to save himself.

Those damn blue-collar officials are unreliable! They're all just freeloaders who take taxpayers' money and eat and drink for free!

Old Charlie roared inwardly, feeling an increasing chill in his heart, a sense of dread creeping over him.

"Blue-skinned" is a derogatory and sarcastic term for a police inspector. The reason it is used as an insult is that most police inspector uniforms in the West are blue.

All in blue, what else could it be but a blue-skinned person?

Police inspectors are useless; this is something taxpayers generally agree on.

But no matter how useless he was, old Charlie still wanted to rely on Blueskin.

After all, it's an official department.

But now old Charlie knows that after the police chief's announcement, he can forget about relying on those blue-collar workers.

It's useless.

The announcement has been released; all the deaths were due to accidental car accidents, with no suspicion of homicide!

This is an undeniable fact, and no one can refute it.

Old Charlie knew perfectly well that was nonsense!

But now, even if he were asked to find out the truth, old Charlie wouldn't have the ability.

"To be able to make those blue-skinned people back down so easily... just what kind of ability does that Clark have? I never heard of such a terrifying background when old Kent was still alive!"

"Although there are some connections with the Stark Group, from what I understand, the relationship isn't particularly close. Besides, the Stark Group couldn't possibly have that much control over everything!"

The murder of four prominent board members in a car accident was quietly turned into an accident.

Stark Industries does not yet have that capability!

The more old Charlie pondered, the more terrified he became.

If he hadn't been quick-witted during the day and signed his name on that document, then today's four car accidents would probably have become five, right?

Old Charlie's eyes shifted:

"Now that the person is dead, the matter has been temporarily suppressed, and whether those four guys live or die has little to do with me!"

"The crucial question now is... will I be the next one to die?"

"Although Clark let me leave very easily during the day, he didn't make any promises!"

Old Charlie pondered the scenes from the day, feeling a deep-seated fear spreading through his heart.

Then he thought of the villa and the patrol teams of bodyguards in the villa's courtyard, and felt much more at ease.

Those were a team of bodyguards he had urgently hired. On the surface, they were bodyguards, but in reality, they were mercenaries who lived on the edge of death.

Their hiring price is very high.

Their combat power is also high!

Old Charlie was getting on in years, and he valued his life even more.

The older you get, the more afraid you become of death; that perfectly describes him.

Suddenly, old Charlie realized something was wrong.

It's so quiet outside!

The whole villa is so quiet!

With nearly a hundred people, including bodyguards and servants, and more than ten large dogs, patrolling repeatedly in several small teams, how could there be no sound at all?

Slacking off? Taking a break? That's impossible!

Those guys who take money to do things and solve problems for others value their reputation; they wouldn't slack off.

At that moment, the door was opened.

A burly figure walked in without any attempt to conceal his presence.

By the light of the moon, one could vaguely see two rows of sharp teeth gleaming with a blood-red light near the figure's lips!

Bloodfang Antonio!

Old Charlie's eyes widened in horror; he had already recognized the captain of the college's security team.

"Your behavior during the day was good, so the principal allowed you to live until now."

Antonio opened his mouth, revealing two rows of terrifying red, bloody teeth:

"After I deal with you, I still need to take care of that troublemaker from earlier today. Tsk tsk, he's not even fully grown yet, and he's already thinking about causing trouble. This isn't the way to court death!"

Antonio is also a mutant; his ability is a physical enhancement type, and the greater the enhancement, the redder his teeth become.

That's why he earned the nickname "Bloodfang".

A name can be wrong, but a nickname never will.

"No! Don't do this! I've already agreed to all of Principal Clark's conditions, you can't do this!"

Old Charlie screamed in terror, then his voice abruptly stopped.

...

Meanwhile, in the villa's courtyard, the hired bodyguards were packing up their equipment and quickly making their way out.

The subordinates looked grim, feeling that abandoning their employer was damaging their reputation and that no one would hire them again.

The mercenary leader sneered, a hint of irritation on his face, and said:

"If I had known that damned old Charlie had messed with Bloodfang, I would never have agreed to his hiring!"

"Remember this! Reputation is important, but no matter how important it is, it's not as important as your own life!"

This mercenary team is indeed of very high quality; they had just met with Antonio.

However, from the moment they saw Antonio, their captain immediately ordered his men to leave and not interfere in any of Antonio's "private affairs"!

The subordinates were dissatisfied:

"Boss! There are so many of us..."

The mercenary leader's face turned cold:

"You don't understand! Some people can be dealt with by sheer numbers, but some people... no matter how many of them there are, it's just like throwing your lives away!"
