After a few minutes of traveling, Jimmithey and Jackie reached their new base, an abandoned school.
It was covered with vines and vegetation, surrounded by a field of knee-high grass.
All of this was illuminated by the bright afternoon sunlight, giving the grounds a tranquil and hidden vibe.
Jackie brought Jimmithey to Milly, who was watching Myusel clear off the grass field with magical girl saws.
She recapped some plans with Jimmithey, while Jackie went off to help Myusel and train.
Milly took Jimmithey and Chad, who were watching Myusel, to the side of the school to practice meditations.
Why they had to do this was a question that floated in both of their minds.
"Listen, guys. You need to learn how to focus and control your energies. Especially you, Jimmithey. From what I learned, your energy is strong but could backfire on you if you don't focus on it properly." Milly began to explain as she tied back her red hair into a ponytail.
"The way any power, both degenerate and lawful, functions is by your thought or willpower relating to it. For degenerates, their obsession or love of something makes them stronger. When it reaches its strongest, they 'Climax'. It's basically their ultimate form, and they should only be able to do it once."
"In fact, the Colonel was able to achieve this in his fight against you, Jimmithey. When he got that trauma buff and became you. As you can see, a degenerate entering that form is incredibly dangerous and could end the fight right then and there. But thankfully, this scale of power isn't completely on the degenerate's side."
"For people with lawful or anti-degenerate powers, like magical girls, training is necessary. You learn techniques through channeling your belief in righteousness into spells. They can also achieve a form like a Climax, but I don't know what it's called. The public hasn't seen it for centuries, and magical girl records are kept secret. But in general, an anti-degenerate awakening is called a 'Breakthrough.'"
"Along with that, we have more neutral powers, like yours, Jimmithey. From what I've heard, you need meditation and training to understand your mind more, awakening the 'depths of your mind.' That is how you can get stronger and how you can achieve your own breakthrough."
"You have to understand your own powers by yourself. I can't help you with that besides giving you meditation tips. You can do it, alright."
"This sounds like some weird new age shit, but sure. I think I can do it. Thanks for the explanation, Milly." Jimmithey replied while nodding.
"Good. Now, finally… Chad, we don't know if you have powers yet or not. There's a likely chance you don't. But we're desperate and might as well try to see if you have anything. So, for now, just do simple mediations along with Jimmithey for now. If you don't have any powers, then I can teach you to use a firearm effectively. After all, I've been trained by the best." Milly finished, patting Chad's large shoulder.
"Alright, Miss Milly. I hope I have some badass powers, heh! I'll return the favor and protect you all." Chad nodded as he sat on the ground.
Jimmithey and Milly did the same, as the three sat silently on the now trimmed grass.
Far off, they could hear the swooshes and grunts of Myusel and Jackie, who were across the field from them.
But it was easy to tune out, as Jimmithey and Chad closed their eyes, letting their minds wander in the moment.
Jimmithey began to concentrate his schizo energy, letting it flow across his body.
A small translucent gray aura formed around him, but was unnoticeable by anyone but him.
He thought back on his supposed wife that he saw a few months back, wondering what it meant.
He also thought about what the Colonel said, about his supposed Cuck powers.
He thought about his delusions, about his strengths, his fears.
What did it all mean?
He was beginning to get a grasp on it, understanding more about his powers.
Could he reach his 'Breakthrough?' Could he fully tap his inner mind?
He could see different colors and concepts, all forming in the massive galactic expanse that was his mind.
His potential. His imagination. His delusions.
Hundreds of cosmic-like doors opened within his mind, delving deeper and deeper into this expanse.
Past these thousands of opening and closing doors, he could see a glimpse of a realm, one where he saw a single woman immersed in fog.
Fog within a grayish white, infinite expanse. One that covered over a light red light, one deep, deep within these realms.
He could nearly grasp at it, reach for it… Understand it… Until…
GRRR… GRRR…. GRRRR….
"The fuck?" Jimmithey questioned as his eyes snapped open, with the realm he saw disappearing.
But his concentration was broken when he heard agitated breathing coming from nearby.
He turned aside and saw Chad grunting loudly.
Chad was new to mediation, never having done it before.
So he wasn't properly breathing and made a ton of annoying noises.
Jimmithey's concentration was broken, and it seemed like it would take an incredible amount of effort to bring it back.
An effort that he didn't feel like expending again. So he felt pissed off.
Especially since it was Myusel's stupid fuck ass boyfriend who broke it.
"Hey Chad. Shut the fuck up. Okay?" Jimmithey asked as he turned towards Chad.
"Excuse me? What did you just say?" Chad asked, opening his eyes and looking back at Jimmithey.
"You heard me, you asshole. You're fucking up my entire mediation, you stupid bastard! Shut the fuck up or get the hell out of here! This shit isn't a fucking joke, bitch!" Jimmithey yelled as he punched the ground, cracking the dirt under his fist.
"Whoa! HEY! Fuck you, dude! I'm sorry that I'm new to this weird shit and don't have all of these crazy ass powers like you do! But I'm still trying to help in my own way! You little bitch! I'm only here because of Myusel, you dickward. I don't need to stay next to you, whining punk ass! Fuck this and fuck you!" Chad yelled as he stood up, walking somewhere else to meditate.
"Whatever, pussy! Run away like the little bitch you are! Hah!" Jimmithey yelled as he sat back down in his position.
But as he did, he noticed that Milly had her arms crossed, staring at him blankly.
"Jimmithey. The hell was that for?" Milly asked slowly and sternly, looking down at him like he was a little kid.
