Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: The Conqueror King, Lance's Departure

"Master, please give the order!" Lance bowed to Erza after seeing the familiar figure and requested her permission.

"Artoria, the Holy Grail War is progressing incredibly fast! I never expected us to clash so soon!"

"Don't worry! Your Master is fine, otherwise you would have disappeared due to lack of mana long ago. Besides! You can sense his current situation, can't you?" Ignoring Lance's anxiety and seeing Saber's concerns, Erza stated directly. Only in this way could this single-minded girl fight with peace of mind.

"I can tell you're the kind of person who keeps their word! Well then, let's begin! I won't admit defeat!" Having dispelled her concerns, Artoria issued the challenge directly.

"Then!" Erza raised her left hand, which held up the three complete Command Seals, and recited them.

"Erza Scarlett, in the name of the Command Seals, Berserker, unleash your full power!"

A crimson magical light flashed, a Command Seal disappeared, and the magical power of a Great Magic Crystal, along with Erza's command, was transmitted to Lance along the link of the contract.

"In the name of the Command Spell, I command you once again, Berserker, you must fulfill your wish."

The red light erupted once more, another Command Seal dissipated, and Erza gave Lance a deep look. A look of farewell flashed in her eyes!

"With this final Command Spell, Berserker, unleash your unparalleled skills!"

The three-stroke Command Seal released its hidden magical power, creating a powerful whirlwind before dissipating. All three Command Seals disappeared. Although the connection remained, Erza was no longer Lance's Master.

"You..." Artoria, seeing this, was shocked and unleashed all her Command Seals. What does this mean at this moment?! Everyone knows it means giving up the Holy Grail. But why is she doing this now? Does she really have to hit me?

"Go! Let's settle this in the woods!" Ignoring Artoria's surprise, Erza patted Lance on the shoulder. She was choosing the battlefield for them.

"Master, you are the most virtuous person I have ever met. I, Lance, have no way to repay you in this life, but if there is an afterlife, I will surely become your guardian knight, by your side!" The girl named Lance knelt on one knee, offering a knightly salute to her noble Master.

"Fulfill your wish!" After accepting Lance's gift, Erza watched the two leave.

"What, you think you can hit me without Berserker?" Erza looked at the 'righteous hero' smoking a cigarette and holding a gun. This guy was the one who withdrew from the Holy Grail War and even wanted to kill Ken's master.

There was no reply; the raised gun spoke volumes. This guy's idea was foolish!

"Clang!" The bullets were stopped by the hard armor, Erza's casual clothes were now completely hidden by the armor.

"Change Arm! Giant's Arm." The giant gauntlet replaced the original suitable armor on her left hand; Erza only activated part of the change.

"One punch," despite the massive armor, its speed is not slow.

"Bang!" A punch slammed the stunned 'hero of justice' against the wall, a welcome release of his frustration. But he held back, otherwise Kiritsugu would have been crushed to death. The fifth battle wouldn't be fun anymore, hmm! Someone's coming.

"Come out, Kirei!" The priest, who was seeking pleasure, was supposed to come tonight to find his 'true love,' according to the script. But Kiritsugu couldn't give it to him yet; otherwise, what if he got killed?

"My lord, may I have this to deal with?" Sure enough, the pleasure criminal stepped forward. His gaze was burning as he stared at Kiritsugu, who lay unconscious on the ground. The 'bromance' in his eyes made Erza involuntarily take two steps back.

"Uh! Not yet. Come with me to check on Gilgamesh's battle with the King of Conquerors." Erza was worried about leaving him here, fearing Kiritsugu's safety. The thought of him cuckolding his wife was getting more and more exciting! No, no, Kirei being here meant... his wife had already been stabbed, but because of the scabbard, she'd probably recover quickly. It felt like a mistress was trying to take over the wife's life.

"Let's go!" Erza called out, seeing Kirei still reluctant to leave. "Alas! Madam, this is all I can do for you."

Erza immediately activated teleportation, and the two arrived on the bridge. They discovered that the battle seemed to be nearing its end!

"Wave Wilwitt, would you be willing to become my subject (princess)?" the red-haired man asked Waver.

"Only you... are my king. I am willing to serve you and be loyal to you. My king, can you guide me on the path ahead?" the submissive man cried as he agreed.

Seeing the separation before her, Erza had no intention of moving forward, nor of saving the King of Conquerors. This was a man's pride! Even though she was no longer a man, Erza understood the path ahead. Sometimes, even when there was no way forward, a man would still take that step towards death, guided by his beliefs. Moreover, the two before her were not just men, but heroes, and heroes have their own principles. Even in death, they would not accept charity from others. If Erza were to intervene, it would be an insult to these heroes, even if their battle was unfair.

"Awake from your dream, Conqueror King?" The golden retriever also highly regarded this Conqueror King. Otherwise, he wouldn't have let him charge at him. He wanted to personally defeat him and bestow glory upon this hero.

"Yes!...This expedition...has also filled me with...great excitement." He finished speaking, widening his eyes to glance at Erza. Erza's eyes conveyed, "Don't worry! I won't let your retainers die. I'm here to see them off."

"I allow you to continue challenging me, Conqueror King," the blond man said, drawing his sword.

"Under the whole heaven, all land belongs to the king. Therefore, I assure you, this world will never bore you," the golden-haired man said his final farewell to the Conqueror King.

"That's...not bad at all..." The Conqueror King closed his eyes contentedly, his body beginning to transform into primordial aetheric elements. The Conqueror King was defeated!

"That mad dog left too?" After receiving a satisfactory answer from Waver, the blond man walked to Erza's side. Not sensing the familiar figure, he asked Erza.

"Hmm! Almost, how about we go play for a bit?" Erza invited the blonde.

"Who do you think I am? Woman, today! I will absolutely not lose."

"Hey! I'm not really looking forward to it, you!"

The three turned and left, leaving only the young prince weeping in sorrow for the king.

On the other side, Lancelot.

"You are Lord Lancelot. Why my friend! Why did you respond to the Berserker class? What is it that makes you so resentful!" Artoria looked at the familiar face, feeling more grief than shock.

"Why is Guinevere your princess? Why?"

"My love for Guinevere is real, so why did you promise to give her to me and then not? Arthur, I hate you!" Lancelot ignored the blow to his chest and pointed at Artoria's nose.

"How could I possibly hand over my queen to someone else? I've never said anything like that. Could it be! Mordred, my friend, you've been deceived by her!" Suddenly remembering a daughter who had plotted against his mother, the just King Arthur explained.

"How could this be! How could this happen!" Lancelot, as if remembering something, knelt on the ground, clutching his head, and murmured.

"Even so, I will not abandon Guinevere's Arthur. Now I repay your kindness with this sword. When we meet again, we will no longer be lord and subject. Knight Lancelot will reclaim his love." Watching his hand slowly disappear, Lancelot swore to Artoria.

"Lord Lancelot, I will not challenge you to a duel in the manner of a king. When we meet again, Knight Arthur, I will challenge you to a duel. I will never give Guinevere to you!" Artoria declared, watching her friend disappear.

"You two are just arguing back and forth, you don't even know where anyone is. Is this interesting?" Erza sighed as she watched their battle through her familiar, mercilessly torturing Gilgamesh. "In the end, who exactly is this Guinevere anyway?!"

"Tch! You lost again."

"I won't give up on this woman; I'll definitely win the next round."

Unlike the two who were engrossed in cultivating immortality, something happened at the Tohsaka residence.
