Ji-hoon hurried back to the crowd. His ears twitched as he heard echoes which emanated from screams of the p and he quickly took to his heels, each step he took made a thud sound as though he stepped on tiles in a huge hall.
He got to the crowd, his chest heaving only to find out there was nothing wrong. But it's not as if he could do anything to save them with his current level.
"We're going to die!" "It's over!" "I never should've bought this game!" They said amongst themselves.
Before anyone could utter another word the status window appeared before them.

Ji-hoon felt his heart sank, he staggered as if trying to run away but he regained composure and he remained still.
"Hold on a second, I have a sword" Ji-hoon hesitated, his fingertip hovering above the inventory icon as if tapping it might reveal something he wasn't ready for. The menu opened with a soft hum. Rows and rows of empty slots stared back at him except for one.
A level 1 sword rested in the corner, its chipped blade glinting weakly, like even it was ashamed of how powerless it was.
"I hope it's possible to exchange items into EXP, because there's basically nothing I can do with this," Ji-hoon shoved his hand into the status window and he took out the sword. It rested on his palm, cold, light weight.
"Status window is it possible to exchange this item for EXP?" Ji-hoon asked.

"Depends on the value huh?" Ji-hoon fixed his eyes on the sword, the sword had no value in anyway he tried to look at it.
"In my previous life, this sword shattered when I struck the back of the Ravengar, it has no value at all, but..." He lifted his head, taking his gaze back to the status window.
"It might have value to_" Before he could think of another word the wind carried the roar of the Ravengar towards them.
"Damn, it's here!" Ji-hoon's eyes widened as the Ravengar stood before them. There was no time to think.
"Status window exchange this now!"

"Agility!?" Ji-hoon's eyes widened in disbelief.
The Ravengar gradually walked towards them. In about few seconds it charged towards them.
"It's coming!" "Run!" People screamed, ran away, trashing around like a headless snake, like a worm which has just come in contact with salt.
Ji-hoon didn't run, instead he stood still, he fixed his eyes on the Ravengar as he glared.
"The Aetheric Assembly will be coming from my right," Ji-hoon gradually bent to squat and rested each of his fingers on the ground hand on the floor as he glared at the target.
"Then I guess... I'll lure it towards them!" He charged, sprinting towards the direction of the Ravengar, the wind became heavier as though it was a wall which was made to hold him back but he broke through.
He ran past everyone till he met the eyes of the Ravengar. He couldn't stop, he'll get brutally injured. With a stomp, he jumped over the Ravengar and landed on the floor, the wind blew, a circle of dust surrounded his legs as though they were isolating themselves from him before the slowly began to fade away.
"Come at me!" Ji-hoon shouted and he began to hop.
The Ravengar turned around and with a growl, ran towards him. Ji-hoon turned around and ran away from it, the Ravengar followed. Every turn he made it followed and it slowly began to catch up to him.
Ji-hoon gradually began to slow down.

"Oh damn!" Ji-hoon panicked, but before he could panic more, he looked up at one of the buildings and saw few members of the Aetheric Assembly. They were the ones who had saved him in his previous life.
The Ravengar growled and it attracted their attention, "Commander Rane's it's a Ravengar, level 2, and it's chasing someone!"
They stopped as they landed on another building.
"I see it, let's get down!" Rane's ordered.
Ji-hoon fell on his back, his gaze fixed on the sky "You guys... Should hurry" Ji-hoon said as his chest heaved.
Before the Ravengar could pounce on Ji-hoon, a ball of fire hit the ground, causing an explosion which sent rubbles flying, including the Ravengar.
Ji-hoon slowly opened his eyes and standing before him were six members of the Aetheric Assembly.
"Are you alright?" Rane's asked as he turned his head to look at Ji-hoon, the fire burning in front of him casted a warm orange light on his face.
Ji-hoon grinned with a sigh of relief "Took you guys long enough," Ji-hoon said.
The Ravengar stood up as it pushed rubbles away from it's back. With a growl it glared at them through the fire.
"Stay here, we'll be back" Rane's said to Ji-hoon as him and two others passed through the fire and made their way towards the Ravengar; each step they took, echoed. The Ravengar slowly backed away till it turned it's back at them to escape.
"Don't let it get away!" Rane's ordered, his voice was firm and echoed through the ears of everyone around him and his hands slowly began to burn.
