Chapter 548 - Chapter 212: Let Voldemort Witness the Weight of Hogwarts Alumni!

"It's not important, master!" the snake monster said indignantly, "As long as it's dealing with that guy, I'll do it without hesitation! Tell me, what do you need me to do, master!"

"Come out first." Harry shook his wallet, letting the enormous snake monster swim out.

With a thud, Alfonso fell onto the rock, causing a slight tremor.

"This is the place." Harry pointed to that patch of rock and said, "But we need to scoop out these magic potions. I'll find a larger container—"

Saying that, Harry took the goblet in Dumbledore's hand, enlarged it a bit, and scooped up a goblet of magic potion.

The basin that originally held the magic potion suddenly filled up again with potion, and Harry handed the goblet of magic potion to Alfonso.

"Try it, Alfonso." he said.

Alfonso shifted his position, opening his cavernous mouth upwards.

"Like this, master?"

Harry poured the goblet of magic potion into Alfonso's snake mouth, and Alfonso smacked his lips and flicked his tongue twice.

"The taste is good, master, like a fragrance of venom... I quite like it; do we have more?"

Harry said nothing, scooped up another goblet, and poured it into Alfonso's mouth.

"How do you feel?" Harry asked with concern.

"Not bad." Alfonso nodded, "A bit more, I haven't quite discerned the further tastes, maybe I wasn't tasting carefully enough."

Dumbledore listened from the side, feeling a bit of a dissonant sensation.

This snake monster could be used in such a way? He really hadn't expected it...

The youngsters these days, they're really quite something.

But this is actually a very good method; he originally intended to drink a few sips himself—though it wouldn't be fatal, it also had an educational function, to make Harry and Miss Grindelwald understand the importance of sacrifice.

"Is there more?" Alfonso asked again.

Without saying a word, Harry poured Alfonso another cup of magic potion.

Cup after cup, Alfonso's spirits were also getting better and better.

Eventually, the potion finally ran out.

"What a pity." Alfonso said lacklusterly, "I thought this was some sort of strong poison, is the old master's bastard offspring just this much? It's really funny..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Alfonso suddenly jerked his head sharply.

"Ahhh!" he hissed and screamed, seemingly going through enormous pain.

Karma came quickly; he had just been disdaining Voldemort's insufficient potion dosage, and now he immediately faced a backlash.

"What's wrong with you, Alfonso?" Harry asked worriedly.

"Water! Water! I need water!" Alfonso twisted forcefully, even nudging his body to the water's surface, seemingly trying to drink.

Although this snake monster was coaxed here by him, Harry couldn't bear to let the snake monster end here.

He patted the snake monster's scales and said, "I don't recommend you drink that; hold on, I'll get you some..."

Saying so, he pulled out his magic wand and pointed it at the snake monster's head.

"Aguamenti (water gushes like spring)!"

A robust stream of water spouted from the tip of Harry's magic wand, rushing into the snake monster's mouth.

The snake monster gulped down the water conjured by the Clear Water Spell, looking truly parched, without the slightest indication of stopping.

After about half a minute, Vivi suddenly said, "Harry! Something is climbing up! It's probably the Inferi!"

"Can you get into the wallet, Alfonso?" Harry asked.

"Still thirsty." Alfonso weakly hissed.

"Come in and drink." Harry reached his hand into the wallet, expanding the wallet's mouth while asking Alfonso, "Can you swim?"

"I have gills." Alfonso succinctly replied.

Harry held the wallet open and said to him, "The wallet's filled with water, just get in—be careful not to drown, or I'll mock you."

"Don't worry, master."

After saying that, Alfonso dove into the wallet with a plop.

Harry stuffed the wallet back, suddenly feeling an icy hand grip his wrist.

The cold and slimy hand was slowly pulling him back, and the lake's surface was no longer mirror-smooth, but churning, countless pale heads and hands emerging all around.

Men, women, and children with sunken eye sockets and blank eyes were moving toward the rocks.

A dead army rose from the black lake.

It was Voldemort's army of Inferi left behind.

"The snake monster's gone!" Harry shouted, "The Inferi are up!"

He fixed his gaze on the Inferius in front of him, seeing that it wasn't Regulus' shape, he used magic to levitate it and then moved a rock, with a bang, the Inferius was smashed to the other side of the lake.

The Inferius struggled a few times after landing, then stopped moving.

"Don't damage my teaching materials!" Little Sirius shouted while turning into human form, at the same time freezing an Inferius with a Petrification Spell.

The Inferius hit by the magic spell froze and fell into the lake.

"Can you tell which one is Regulus?" Harry shouted to Little Sirius.

"I can't quite see clearly either, but if he appears in front of me, I'll recognize him!" Little Sirius loudly replied.

However, Regulus didn't appear, more and more Inferi surged forward, even now Little Sirius was completely surrounded by them.

"They're charging over!" he shouted out, lifting his hand, casting a Petrification Spell on one already confirmed not to be Regulus.

But his eagerness to save his brother caused him to delay the chance to fend off the Inferi just to identify Regulus.
