Chapter 549 - Chapter 212: Let Voldemort Witness the Weight of a Hogwarts Senior!

At this moment, a Yin Corpse grabbed his wrist.

Before Sirius could shake off the Yin Corpse, Harry's spell hit it.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

The Yin Corpse hit by the spell stood upright and instantly fell asleep.

"Well done, James!" Sirius instinctively shouted.

Harry knew that Sirius had mistaken him for James Potter, but he didn't respond and instead pointed his Magic Wand at the ground.

"Protego Gubraithian!"

Bright azure flames suddenly rose up, centering on Harry, isolating the Yin Corpses outside.

The flames were the nemesis of the Yin Corpses; they roared and dared not come close, surrounding the fire in layers, densely covering the area.

"It's not a good idea, Harry," Vivi said to Harry, "If we protect ourselves with the Fire Shield, we'll never know when we'll find Regulus Black."

"Let's check this first." Harry turned around and pulled out the small golden box from the green stone basin.

It was a fake Slytherin's locket.

The small island in the center of the lake was temporarily safe, and considering that Regulus couldn't be found for a while, Sirius came to Harry's side.

He wanted to see what kind of fake Soul Artifact Regulus had hidden away.

The center of the lake presented a bizarre scene: a ring of azure flames burned fiercely by the shore, outside were layered Yin Corpses, and inside the four people gathered around, looking at the small box in their hands.

"This should be the replica." Dumbledore nodded and said, "But honestly, it's quite convincing, at least if we didn't know beforehand, we wouldn't know this thing is fake."

Since it was something Regulus hid, Harry was not worried about any Dark Magic on it.

The main reason was that he had cast several Detection Spells earlier and even secretly used an Avada Kedavra, but there was no reaction.

This was why he ultimately confirmed the safety of this small box.

"Take a look." He reached out to open the small box and took out a note from inside, which read:

"To the Dark Lord:

I know when you read this, I will be dead, but I want you to know: I discovered your secret, I have taken the real Soul Artifact and will destroy it as soon as possible.

I go to my death willingly, to ensure that when you meet your match, you will be nothing but a mortal man.

R.A.B."

Seeing the handwriting on the note, Sirius suddenly fell silent.

"R.A.B.?" Vivi asked.

"It's the initials of Regulus Arcturus Black." Sirius said softly.

"I can imagine why Regulus joined the Death Eaters and then rebelled," Vivi muttered, "He was too young; the brutal world of the Death Eaters in reality was completely different from what he imagined—but what truly changed him was when Voldemort tried to kill Kreacher."

"But why would Regulus know that what Voldemort gave him was a Soul Artifact?" Harry asked puzzled, "And Voldemort must have trusted him enough, even not caring if he knew..."

"Soul Artifacts weren't invented by Voldemort; he just made more than anyone else." Dumbledore sighed and said, "Voldemort's arrogance led him to believe no one would know such advanced magic. But Regulus had doubts because he was so sure he wouldn't die; he had heard of such magic before, and after verifying, he guessed right."

Harry handed the note to Sirius, who took it and tightly gripped it in his hand.

"We have to find him!" Sirius didn't know when he was already in tears, "We must find him!"

"But there are simply too many Yin Corpses, Sirius." Dumbledore looked around and said to Sirius, "Trying to eliminate them one by one to find Regulus is not a simple task; it's a huge undertaking..."

"I might have a way," Harry suddenly said, "A way to find Regulus quickly—"

"What way?" Sirius asked eagerly.
