"Madam Pomfrey agreed just like that?" Ron asked curiously.
"Actually, Madam Pomfrey didn't want to agree at first. After all, if she starts this precedent of cosmetic spells, it would be difficult to refuse others later," Hermione said with a slight smile. "But I promised her that no one besides you and Harry would know about it, and I also told her that this might be the only chance in my life to attend a prom... Madam Pomfrey softened and agreed."
"You've really got a knack for this," Ron said, somewhat entranced, looking at Hermione. Now that her front teeth had been reduced, she looked prettier with every glance.
Even the acne on her face seemed to have disappeared. Maybe it was thanks to Madam Pomfrey.
"My parents won't be happy. For many years, I've been persuading them to let me reduce my teeth, but they wanted me to stick with the orthodontic braces," Hermione shook her head, smiling. "You know, they're both dentists. They think teeth and magic shouldn't mix; magic is magic, and teeth are teeth. If everything is done with magic, then what's the use of having dentists?"
"Oh, that's true," Ron agreed, "But sometimes it's still good to accept new things. I think this stuff could be useful in Uncle Granger's dental clinic, don't you think?"
"He's stubborn when it comes to dentistry, always sticking to Muggle methods," Hermione shrugged, "But he's always willing to try new things in other areas..."
"What else can I say?" Ron spread his hands as well.
Compared to the light-hearted atmosphere among the teens at school, the French restaurant in Diagon Alley didn't seem all that... calm.
Cassandra and Vivi sat in a private room, their eyes locked, and Harry could almost see sparks flying between them.
It was like two magic spells colliding in mid-air...
"I think we should order now, Vivi," Harry gently reminded them.
Vivi finally broke her gaze away from Cassandra and looked down at the open menu in her hands.
After they ordered, the waiter left their private room.
"I must say," Vivi said with a light laugh, "French cuisine truly is a treasure. At least it spares us from the disaster of British food, right?"
"Actually, British food can be quite delicious," Harry interjected from the side.
"Like what?" Vivi asked back.
"Uh..."
Harry hesitated for a long time but couldn't think of anything particularly tasty.
Fish and chips didn't count; they weren't exactly a proper dish.
Cassandra initially wanted to make a sarcastic remark, but considering Austria was also a great culinary nation, she wisely kept her mouth shut.
If she spoke, it would be utterly embarrassing.
Soon, some appetizers appeared on the table.
Vivi used her knife and fork to pick up a slice of Parma ham, placed it on her plate, and looked up to ask, "We've known each other for over a hundred years now, haven't we?"
"Uh, seven years?" Harry ventured.
For him, including his time travel and return, he had indeed known Vivi for only seven years.
After all, he met Vivi during the second-year holiday in Austria and returned to the present after the start of the sixth year... it was indeed seven years.
Vivi put down her knife and fork and glanced at Harry.
"It's over a hundred years," Harry quickly corrected himself.
"From Potter's perspective, it's indeed less than ten years," Cassandra sneered, "But for this ungrateful guy, I never thought ten years and a hundred years made any difference... Or rather, if there was someone better for him, I think he would definitely turn away from you, Grindelwald."
Her words were blunt. Back then, I was so good to this guy Potter, yet it didn't stop him from falling into your arms...
So you should be prepared; one day, he might fall into someone else's arms.
"Oh,"
Vivi nonchalantly cut a small piece of Parma ham, elegantly put it in her mouth, chewed it lightly, and swallowed, then took a napkin, dabbed her lips a few times, and put the napkin down.
Then she looked up and said, "Well, I guess the girl who was abandoned should understand that it's not because Harry is fickle. Could it be that it's her own problem?"
"What's her problem?" Cassandra narrowed her eyes and asked.
"For instance... being too self-important?" Vivi curled her lips, "Always assuming the role of the master, never showing her best side in front of him, and suppressing him more than once... Kathy, do you really think such a woman would find love?"
It was only at this point that Harry understood what they were implying.
But he stayed silent, just bowing his head and eating vigorously.
This Parma ham... it truly is ham!
And this caviar, it's truly caviar!
"At least that's better than some people being too lowbrow," Cassandra raised her long eyebrows, "Since you knew that girl had feelings for Potter... then why forcefully appear and take away her man?"
"Feelings for Harry?" Vivi asked, smiling mischievously.
Cassandra's face suddenly turned red. Although she had avoided the word out of shame, Vivi's pressing made her too embarrassed to speak.
"See, you don't even know what she really means. Do you really expect Harry, that clueless log, to understand?" Vivi continued to pursue.
