Chapter 62 - Chapter 62: The Horse Talisman and a New Level of Control

The dawn broke over the Villa, painting the room in soft light. Su Yi woke up, feeling utterly content. The mission to dismantle the Red Room had been a success both for the world and for his ledger.

"Time to tally the rewards for the Red Room and the Natasha intervention," he thought.

[Natasha Romanoff's Fate has been changed: 300,000 FP]

[Yelena Belova's Fate has been changed:150,000 FP]

[Antonia Dreykov's Fate has been changed:100,000 FP]

[Red Room/S.H.I.E.L.D. Fate has been changed:500,000 FP]

[Total from Event:1,050,000 FP]

"A million Destiny Points! That is generous."

[Additional Rewards: Perfect Mind Control Potion Recipe and 3 ordinary lottery opportunities.]

The potion recipe was immediately discarded mentally. Su Yi had no interest in mind control. He focused on the lottery draws.

"System, use the three ordinary draws now!"

[Ding, obtained special item: Horse Talisman!]

[Ding, obtained special item: 1 piece of Kryptonite!]

[Ding, obtained special ability: Energy Devour!]

The Kryptonite was an intriguing, albeit niche, find. "Not very useful unless I run into a certain alien, which I plan on avoiding for the next decade," he mused.

The Horse Talisman, with its potent healing ability, was immediately prioritized. Unlike consumable items like the Water of Life, the Talisman could be permanently given to someone, granting them its power.

Su Yi considered his allies. Gwen had the Symbiote Suit for protection. He, himself, could buy system healing. The clear choice was Natasha, whose body carried years of physical trauma from the Red Room's harsh conditioning and surgeries, leaving her infertile.

"I'll give it to Natasha. This Talisman will make her whole again," he decided. "And if I can collect all twelve Talismans, giving her twelve abilities... she would become the most formidable and unresolvable agent alive. She's already an expert in everything; adding powers would make her unstoppable."

He looked at Natasha sleeping soundly beside him and smiled.

Natasha, sensing his gaze, stirred and opened her eyes slowly. "Su, what are you plotting now?"

"Nothing," he said innocently. "I just think your special training results were excellent, and you deserve a reward."

"I just want to sleep a little longer," she mumbled, pulling the covers higher.

"Fair enough. Then I'll give you the gift after you wake up."

While Natasha slept, Su Yi focused on his new ability, Energy Devour. "Devouring external energy to boost my own energy reserves. Sounds powerful, but the difficulty of leveling up past Lv6 is immense."

To upgrade his energy attribute, he would need to consume ludicrous amounts of power—perhaps the concentrated core of a star, or powerful magical energies. Relying on simple electrical or nuclear power would be inefficient to the point of absurdity.

Tony would have to build hundreds of massive Arc Reactors just for a single level up, and that would barely scratch the surface for Lv8.

So, he decided to focus on control and self-discipline.

"System, use 500,000 FP to upgrade Spirit from Lv6 to Lv7."

With Lv7 Spirit, his control over his vast strength, hyper-speed, and energy output was now nearly perfect. This was crucial for living a normal life without accidentally punching through a wall or moving too fast to perceive.

He then got up to prepare breakfast. When the aroma of food filled the air, he leaned over and gently kissed Natasha's forehead.

"Natasha, time to get up."

She woke up with a happy smile. "Okay."

After a quiet breakfast, Natasha was fully alert and recovered.

"Natasha, are you ready for your gift now?"

She hesitated, a playful look in her eye. "I think the kind of gift I want would be better saved for tonight. I have a mission this morning."

Su Yi laughed. "It's not that kind of gift—yet."

He reached into his system inventory and materialized the Horse Talisman, placing the stone carving directly into her hand.

Natasha examined the smooth, intricate artifact. "What is this, a rock with a doodle on it?"

"It's a Talisman," Su Yi explained seriously. "It holds a powerful ability. This one is carved with a horse, so it's the Horse Talisman. There are twelve in total. Its power is Healing—it can repair injuries, eliminate diseases, and remove all abnormal external forces from the body."

He paused, letting the final implication sink in. "Simply put, it should be able to make your body completely whole again, healing the permanent damage from the Red Room."

Natasha's composure shattered. "You... you know? Can it really reverse all of it?" Her voice was barely a whisper.

"It certainly can."

Without warning, Su Yi took her hand, and with a minuscule, controlled Wind Blade conjured by his Symbiote Suit, he made a tiny cut on her fingertip. A single drop of blood fell onto the Horse Talisman.

The stone instantly glowed, floated up, and dissolved into her body.

"It disappeared!"

"It has integrated with you," Su Yi confirmed. "You now have the power of self-healing. And your body is already starting the complete recovery process."

Tears streamed down Natasha's face—tears of genuine, overwhelming joy, a display of emotion rarely seen from the seasoned agent. She embraced Su Yi tightly.

"Thank you, Su. You've made me whole. You have no idea what this means."

"Don't thank me," Su Yi murmured, stroking her hair. "You're my woman. Although I don't want children right now, I'm happy your body is healed and the choice is now yours."

Natasha pulled back, wiping her eyes, a faint blush on her cheeks. "I think I'm too busy to truly settle down right now anyway. But I will help you stabilize the home front."

"You will?"

"Yes. You need someone to help persuade the others—to ensure everyone in the family lives in harmony and doesn't quarrel. I'm excellent at diplomacy, even in domestic conflicts."

"Then am I your family too?" Natasha asked, touched by his use of the word.

"Of course," Su Yi answered instantly.

Just as they finished their intimate moment, Natasha received a text message. She read it, her face turning professional instantly.

"Su, you need to take me to Tony's house right now."

"What for?"

"Fury sent my contact. The meeting point is Tony's Villa. Nick is sending an Agent—it's ostensibly a high-level meeting with Tony about Avenger consultant work, but the real purpose is for the agent to meet me and take my report and the final files."

Su Yi raised an eyebrow. "Do you honestly think Tony is going to agree to you using his house as a top-secret dead drop?"

Natasha offered a wry smile. "Definitely not. But it's already set up. Besides, the agent is coming."

Su Yi smirked, shaking his head. It seemed his morning was destined to be less peaceful than he had hoped.

The Horse Talisman has healed Natasha, making her a much more formidable agent, and she now needs Su Yi to crash Tony's house for a top-secret meeting.
