Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: The Arrival of the Maximoffs and the Nanotech Promise

Su Yi called Tony to confirm the visit, then quickly Teleported himself and Natasha to Stark's Villa.

Tony, dressed in his typical casual attire, was deep in his underground lab. Su Yi found him tinkering with a highly portable, compact Iron Man suit—the Mark V, the suitcase armor seen in Iron Man 2.

"Nice little briefcase suit," Su Yi commented, inspecting the prototype. "But it's still bulky. You should leap straight to Nanotechnology suits. Way more convenient."

Tony tossed a wrench onto a workbench in frustration. "Do you think I haven't tried? To create a truly viable Nanotechnology suit, I'd need a theoretical leap twenty years into the future! The foundational science simply doesn't exist yet, not outside of comic books, anyway."

Su Yi grinned, leaning against a console. "Your dad's inventions were also decades ahead of their time, and you, Tony, are supposed to be better than him. I believe you'll definitely find a way if you put your genius mind to it."

Tony paused, a familiar glint of arrogance returning to his eyes. "You're right. I, Tony Stark, will not be outdone by a fictional technological barrier."

"Jarvis, help me search for Dr. Helen Cho," Su Yi instructed the AI. "She's Han Chinese. She might be at a university or already running a clinic. Her work in advanced tissue regeneration might just be the key you need."

"Yes, Sir," Jarvis confirmed.

Tony was curious. "Dr. Cho? What's so special about her, Su? Is this another example of you prioritizing aesthetics over intellect?"

"I can't be sure," Su Yi replied with a playful shrug. "People from that country are notoriously good at makeup. You'd have to meet her in person to know if she's really that pretty, but her intellect is undeniable."

Jarvis quickly brought up Dr. Cho's profile. Tony whistled. She was remarkably young to be on the verge of completing her doctorate and her resume detailed revolutionary work in regenerative medicine.

"Impressive, but certainly not as smart as me," Tony scoffed, though he was clearly intrigued.

"Of course not," Su Yi agreed. "But she's a cutting-edge expert in complex synthesis and fabrication at the micro-level. I think you should sign her while she's still completing her education abroad. Set up an advanced research studio dedicated solely to nano-fabrication."

Tony was hooked. "Nanotechnology... it is the logical next step."

"Jarvis, send her an incredibly generous offer. Tell her I'm willing to fund a separate, state-of-the-art lab just for her, and invite her to Stark Tower for an interview tomorrow. Make it happen."

"Yes, Sir. Offer dispatched."

While Tony was energized by the prospect of a new, impossible project, Natasha was conducting her clandestine meeting in Tony's living room.

She was meeting with Agent Sharon Carter, a fresh-faced but determined operative. Sharon's background—being the niece of the legendary Peggy Carter—was precisely why Nick Fury had handpicked her as the initial contact for the new S.W.O.R.D.

Natasha quickly handed over a data chip containing the full intelligence report on the Red Room takeover, including the new S.W.O.R.D. command structure. Sharon relayed Fury's official orders, establishing the communication protocols.

"Mission complete," Sharon confirmed. "However, I have one more classified instruction from the Director. It requires me to speak with Su."

Natasha didn't object. "Alright, I'll go get him."

Su Yi followed Natasha into the main living area and was introduced to Sharon.

"Hello, Sharon," Su Yi greeted her, already knowing her identity.

"The Director wanted me to tell you that we have located the two individuals you requested," Sharon stated professionally. "Do you want us to deliver them to your personal residence, or should we simply provide the coordinates?"

"Can you send them to my Villa? That would save me a trip," Su Yi said, already considering the dramatic impact of a sudden appearance.

Sharon hesitated. "Sir, they are actually right outside. We intercepted them en route to the city."

Su Yi paused. Right outside? He smirked. This was perfect. The universe was handing him the drama on a silver platter.

"In that case, please bring them in," Su Yi requested.

A moment later, Sharon escorted two figures into the luxurious living room: Wanda Maximoff and her twin brother, Pietro Maximoff. Pietro, lean and intensely agitated, looked like a street brawler. Wanda was slightly disheveled but possessed a fierce, raw beauty and was immediately radiating subtle, chaotic energy.

"What do you want?" Pietro yelled, straining against Sharon's grip. "Let go of Wanda!"

Su Yi walked calmly toward Wanda, and despite her clear hostility, gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face. Wanda instantly jerked her head back, shaking his touch off, her eyes blazing with defiance.

"Spunky," Su Yi noted, still smiling. "I like that."

"How old are you both now?" he asked.

"Why should I tell you?" Pietro spat. "Let us go!"

"I'm trying to help you," Su Yi said patiently. "You're seeking revenge against Tony Stark, correct? I can help you achieve that. But right now, you can't even stand against him."

Wanda, though furious, was more pragmatic than her brother. "Why would you want to help us? Who are you?"

"Because of you, Wanda," Su Yi answered honestly, his gaze penetrating. "You possess a potential that is practically unparalleled in this world."

Pietro immediately became protective, his eyes narrowing with masculine jealousy. "Don't even think about her."

"Can you really help us gain the power to defeat Tony Stark?" Wanda pressed, ignoring her brother.

"I can guide you to harness the power already latent within you," Su Yi clarified. "A power so vast it could, if unchecked, actually destroy this world."

Natasha and Sharon exchanged concerned glances. The concept of a power that could destroy a world was taken very seriously by S.H.I.E.L.D.

"I don't want to destroy the world," Wanda insisted, her fury tempered by a moral compass. "I just want revenge. I want Tony Stark to pay for what he deserves."

"It seems hatred hasn't consumed you entirely," Su Yi said, satisfied. "Regarding your revenge, you hate Tony Stark because he made the missile. But do you know who fired the missile?"

Wanda was sharp. "Are you trying to convince us to abandon our hatred?"

"Not at all. I'm asking you to use your grown-up intelligence to judge the situation. That missile brought you indescribable pain when you were children. But now, you have the maturity to analyze the chain of responsibility and decide who truly deserves your retribution."

"Even if he didn't fire it," Wanda said fiercely, her voice vibrating with contained power, "he still bears undeniable, moral responsibility for manufacturing the weapon."

"I completely agree," Su Yi said, turning away. "Tony, you have some guests!"

Tony Stark, who had been listening to the conversation from the lab, stormed out, looking furious. "I've tolerated you running Agent activities here, but this is my home! I draw the line at bringing thugs into my living room!"

Pietro and Wanda saw their target. Their eyes immediately went red with fury.

"Tony Stark, I'm going to kill you!" Pietro screamed, launching himself at the inventor with unnatural speed.

Tony was genuinely startled. "What the hell is going on?"

Su Yi's Symbiote Suit instantly deployed thick, black webbing, wrapping around Pietro and freezing him mid-lunge.

"You need to stop," Su Yi warned. "Tony, these two are from Sokovia. Years ago, they lost their family in a war. Coincidentally, a Stark Industries missile landed in front of them, bringing them indelible pain. They are here to seek revenge on you."

The confrontation between Tony and the Maximoff twins has officially begun in Tony's living room.
