"Yes, Elder," Yuzuki said. "I remember you promised me an ID a month ago. I'd like to cash in on it now."
The Elder nodded slowly. "I understand."
He paused, studying the boy for a moment before asking, "When are you planning to leave, Yuzuki?"
Yuzuki's answer was immediate. "As soon as I get my ID."
The Elder leaned back in his chair, exhaling softly. "I see… Though it's unfortunate. Meteor City will be losing one of its most valuable potentials."
Yuzuki chuckled lightly. "Elder, I'm sure plenty of people will be happy about my departure."
The Elder laughed as well. "That's probably true. Especially those whose operations you've interrupted." His tone softened. "Still, many lives were saved because of that. And now that you'll be leaving… things might return to how they once were."
Yuzuki's eyes turned firm. "That's exactly why I must leave Meteor City," he said. "If I want to change it for good, I have to change the outside world first. There will come a time when Meteor City becomes a peaceful place — but for that to happen, I need to grow stronger out there."
The Elder's expression warmed with a faint, proud smile. "I know this question is probably pointless, but I'll ask anyway," he said. "Would you mind sending donations to Meteor City once you're out there?"
Yuzuki smiled. "That's obvious, Elder. There are still so many people here who need help. I'd be happy to assist however I can."
The Elder chuckled. "I knew I shouldn't have asked."
He stood from his chair and extended his hand. "Well then, Yuzuki — come back in two days for your ID."
Yuzuki rose as well, shaking his hand firmly. "Thank you, Elder," he said, before turning and walking toward the door.
The Elder watched him leave, his expression shifting to one of thoughtfulness. Once the door closed, he pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts. After a moment's hesitation, he pressed a number and brought the phone to his ear.
It rang twice before a familiar voice answered.
"Elder," Chrollo said politely. "It's been some time."
"Indeed it has," the Elder replied with a faint smile. "How have you been, Chrollo?"
"Well enough," Chrollo said evenly. "Did you need something from me?"
The Elder shook his head slightly, even though Chrollo couldn't see it. "No, not a favor. Information. About Yuzuki. Quite a lot of it."
That caught Chrollo's attention. "Oh?" he said, interest slipping into his tone. "Please, go on."
The Elder began, "Have you seen Yuzuki's bounty yet?"
Chrollo froze for a moment. "Bounty?" he repeated. "He hasn't even left Meteor City. How much?"
"Fifteen million."
Chrollo's eyes widened slightly — though his voice remained calm. "Fifteen million… for a ten-year-old?"
He leaned back in his seat, silent for a moment as he processed the number. "Who could he have possibly frightened to this extent?" he muttered, half to himself.
"My guess that it's the mafia man that Yuzuki is going after," the Elder replied.
Chrollo's tone shifted slightly — amused, impressed. "He's an interesting child indeed," he said. "What else has he done?"
The Elder smiled faintly. "He caught the eye of Zeno Zoldyck."
Chrollo's brow lifted. "Zeno?"
The Elder nodded, though again Chrollo couldn't see it. "Yes. Zeno personally came to Meteor City and offered Yuzuki a position — as a butler for his grandson."
Chrollo chuckled quietly. "If my reading of Yuzuki is correct," he said, "he must have declined."
"As expected of you," the Elder said, amused. "You know him well. He did indeed turn down the offer."
Chrollo's smile deepened faintly. "Still, to even receive an offer from the Zoldycks means something. I'm not sure how they select their butlers, but talent must play a part."
"Zeno himself called Yuzuki a one-in-ten-million talent," the Elder said. "He compared him to Chairman Isaac Netero."
Chrollo fell silent for a few seconds. Then he said, "That much, I suspected. The boy's not normal."
The Elder nodded. "And for the record, he's decided to leave Meteor City now. He'll likely be gone within two or three days."
Chrollo's voice softened slightly, almost fond. "So, he's finally decided to leave the nest. It's a necessary step if he wants to grow stronger."
"I agree," the Elder said. "Losing such a talent hurts, but if he goes out there and builds a reputation — and that reputation links back to Meteor City — then perhaps his success will serve as a deterrent to those who'd threaten us."
"You're right," Chrollo said. "I appreciate your help in looking after him during his time there."
"There's no need to thank me," the Elder replied kindly. "We're all from the same place."
Chrollo smiled faintly on the other end. "I'll make sure to send a little extra in my next donation."
The Elder chuckled, feigning reluctance. "Really, Chrollo, that's not necessary. You don't need to— but since you've offered… I can't exactly refuse."
Chrollo let out a quiet laugh. "Then goodbye, Elder."
"Goodbye, Chrollo."
The line went dead.
Chrollo sat in silence for a moment, phone still in hand, his eyes distant in thought. Then he looked up and called out softly,
"Shizuku."
A pause.
"Yuzuki's been… very interesting lately."
Shizuku tilted her head. "What did he do now?"
Chrollo said calmly, "Yuzuki has managed to get a fifteen-million bounty on his head."
Shizuku's eyes lit up instantly. "Fifteen million… so much money."
Chrollo chuckled. "You're not thinking about hunting down Yuzuki, are you?"
Shizuku said, "No, but I am short on money."
Feitan, standing in the corner with his arms crossed, asked, "Who is this Yuzuki, and why is he important enough for us to talk about him?"
Pakunoda looked up. "It must be the kid the boss always talks about."
Feitan said, "The one he says reminds him of Sarasa?"
Pakunoda nodded. "Yes, but I'd have to see him for myself to believe it."
She then looked at Chrollo. "Boss, if he reminds you so much of Sarasa, then why haven't you tried harder to make him join the Troupe? Machi said you only invited him once and never again."
Chrollo's voice was calm. "It's because he reminds me of her that I don't want him in the Troupe."
Feitan said, "I'm interested in meeting this Yuzuki."
Chrollo said, "He's leaving Meteor City in two days. I believe his first stop will be Yorknew City. If only we were closer, we could have visited him."
Shizuku said softly, "I miss cute Yuzuki."
Chrollo smiled faintly. "When the time is right, we'll go find him. For now, we've got a store to rob."
---
Two days later, Yuzuki stood in front of the Elder with a satisfied look on his face. His ID was perfect.
The Elder said, "I hope this is good."
Yuzuki smiled. "It's perfect. Thank you so much, Elder, for everything."
The Elder waved it off. "It's fine."
He then asked, "How are you going to leave?"
Yuzuki said, "I'm going to catch a lift on one of the garbage trucks coming later today."
The Elder nodded and smiled. "Well then, Yuzuki, don't be a stranger."
Yuzuki said, "Don't worry," and walked out the door.
After saying goodbye to what felt like dozens of people, Yuzuki made his way to the new trash dump. The truck was already dropping off the garbage.
The driver saw Yuzuki approaching. His first thought when he saw the pristine suit was that a rich kid had gotten lost in Meteor City.
Yuzuki greeted him politely. The driver nodded. "You lost, kid?"
Yuzuki hadn't expected that assumption, but he decided to play along. It would be easier for the driver to give a lift to a lost rich kid than a Meteor City resident.
"Yes, I'm lost," Yuzuki said. "Can I ride back with you to Yorknew City? I'll give you ₩500K Jenny."
The driver smiled. That seemed to confirm it — definitely a rich kid.
"Kid," he said, "driving from here to Yorknew is over a thousand kilometers. It's going to take more than ₩500K Jenny."
Yuzuki had expected that much. Under normal conditions, if Meteor City were a legal country, a car ride to Yorknew would easily cost ₩10 million Jenny or more.
He then used a tactic he'd learned in his past life — start low, then make it seem like a big sacrifice.
"Okay," Yuzuki said, "₩1 million. But that's all I have." He pouted like a kid. Which, in truth, he was supposed to be.
The driver smiled to himself. So cute.
"It's fine," he said. "Hop in the passenger seat. Let's go."
Yuzuki smiled. "Mission accomplished," he murmured, climbing in.
The engine started, and the truck rolled forward — carrying him out of Meteor City.

A/N2: I know the ending of the Arc seems a bit rushed, but i wanted to end this Arc as soon as possible, and I'm sure you all feel the same way as well. There is so much stuff not being written with Yuzuki just stuck in Meteor City.
You can also checkout my second Fan Fiction "Tensura: The 8th Primordial" I'm going to try and drop daily chapter, maybe every day after.
Thank you for reading!!!!!
