One day, while Evelyn's sister was designing the world of the game, she'd asked Evelyn for help with something again. Even though the game was a dating simulator, she had this idea of adding a gacha mechanic so they could make more money from the game.
Players would do pulls at certain rates to draw the characters' cards, and they'd have certain chances of winning. The cards they got would contain different date scenarios depending on the character.
Everything up to that point was normal. Evelyn approved the idea too and supported adding the mechanic.
But then her sister presented another strange idea. Players would also use these cards in the game's battle mode.
Evelyn asked her sister what she meant by a battle mode when these characters were supposed to be living idol lives, and her sister answered.
