Alina was sitting on the dining table while looking at the middle-aged woman.
If she remembered correctly then her name was Flora Patson, mother of Andrea Patson—her wife. A single mother of two daughters and owned a beauty salon that was frequented by many celebrities.
She was on the short side with a very curvy body with some fat due to her age but for Alina, she looked nothing like Andrea. But as she talked to her, she could see why Andrea was her daughter.
But there was also something curious about her.
She glanced at the table, which was empty because now they were waiting for the dessert, even though she had brought one, which should be resting inside the refrigerator.
But instead of even showing that, Flora clumsily asked Andrea to pick the one that she ordered.
Why?
"We haven't talked before, right, Angelica dear?"
Alina laughed stupidly as she reciprocated Flora's smile while replying.
"Yes, we didn't, Mother."
